Chapter 231: Who Is Gildaryn?

The gold dragon admitted defeat as the blood oozed out of several wounds and coated his perfectly golden coat. 

It bowed its head to Siroos's dragon. 

"You fought very well, my friend. No one has ever been able to defeat me. Truly you have been blessed by the goddess."

The black dragon, although injured, still proudly hovered and offered an appreciative nod to the golden beast. 

It landed near his companions. 

Cassandra desperately bolted and wrapped her arms around the black dragon, who had fought valiantly. Her hands grazed his wounds as crimson fluid leaked out of them. They began to heal rapidly wherever her palms passed onto his rough, scaly skin. The wounds instantly closed up as if they hadn't existed. 

He rubbed his big maw with Cassandra's body in appreciation and affection.

The golden dragon watched them, slightly mesmerised. Others also moved closer, seeing the battle had ended and the gold beast posed no threat.
