Naruto: The Emperor

This is a stolen novel by the omnipresent sage, but in my opinion this guy's novels are ridiculously convoluted. He focuses far too much on politicking and scheming. The novels are extremely boring imo and Naruto never ever has a good end in any of them. He's always ridiculously stoic and a goal oriented sociopath. It's very difficult to enjoy his novels because Naruto ends up a complete cripple in half of them and his women leave him in several. Extreme realism if it was our world, but this is a world where some people have the strength of a countries entire nuclear arsenal which makes this level of politicking ridiculous. Poltics is how we solve problems as equals but no such thing exists between kage and subordinates. The Raikage could slaughter a quarter to a half of his shinobi force singlehandedly, the tsuchikage is the same.
