Regina's POV

Frank had been toiling tirelessly at trying to track the kidnappers who had kidnapped Luciana, his mind consumed by the urgency of the task at hand. I arrived just as he took a brief moment of respite, pulling him out of his tech-trance.

"What's the latest?" I asked, feeling the weight of all that was riding on his progress.

"Almost there, Regina," Frank replied, barely looking up as he continued navigating the labyrinthine security protocols.

All we gave to him was Luciana's phone pack which contained some important numbers that he told us would help him get to the kidnappers if Luciana was still with her phone, and it wouldn't matter if the phone was on it not.

"How long do you think it'll take?" I pressed, sensing the urgency tightening between us.

"I can't say, but I'm close. If I'm honest, this is the hardest thing I've ever done." Frank's admission held a gravity that was impossible to ignore.
