Chapter 26: Chapter 25

I watched in silence, as Richard talked to Jack on the phone. He suddenly ended the call and turned to me, "Something is off about this. I think he might be trying to find us." He blurted. 

Steve gasped, in shock. "But that is almost impossible, we are too far away from him." He opposed. Even I was confused, on how Jack might try to find me. 

"What makes you think he'd try to find us? Did he say anything suspicious on the call?" Steve asked, eagerly. 

Richard nodded his head, slightly. "Something about the call seemed off. As if he was trying to buy time...I think he's scheming something now." He replied.

"Then, what are we still doing here? We should leave before he arrives with reinforcements!" Steve said and quickly stood up. He stared around the building like he could see Jack already.
