Chapter 22: Danger

Luciana's POV

I walked into the restaurant, Staring around carefully. Whoever I was here to meet should be sitting around but there were quite a lot of people in here.

"How do I locate this person?" I asked myself, as I walked past the tables.

Suddenly, a hand grabbed me, my heart increased in pulse but I pretended not to care I halted to check who it was. It was a man, wearing a strange cap. He was tilting the cap all the way down, ensuring his identity stays hidden.

"Umm, who are you?" I asked, meekly.

"Luciana, it's me. I texted you this morning. Have your seat now and we'll begin the meeting." This voice sounded nothing like the voice I heard earlier on the phone

After glancing at him one more time, I gulped and slowly sat down. I tried harder to see his face but he just buried his face in what was in front of him.

"You must be hungry...Eat up..." The man blurted.
