Chapter 78: The Bet

"Do any of you even study?"

Ísar and Xinghua hushed Gisela, pulling her down into their hiding spot as they continued to watch Osayi from behind some bushes.

Their plan was absolutely perfect, if Ísar could've said so himself.

After Xinghua had rushed him out of the sick bay, Gaston yelling for them to come back and for Xinghua to explain whatever he had said, the prince had detailed the news of Osayi's actions to Ísar.

And the young king was incredibly excited. He hadn't known just how nosy he was until he'd learned of the rather surprising news.

It was surprising to Xinghua as well, despite having guessed of the situation prior. The Qianlong prince had thought that Osayi's interest in Gaston may have stemmed from curiosity, having known how his best friend was a slight flirt despite being only fourteen years of age.
