Chapter 68: Nerves and Foreign Cuisines

"I wonder what's going to be on the menu!" Osayi exclaimed excitedly as all five of them made it into the busy canteen hall.

Ísar knew he'd been going there for the entire weekend got his meals, ignoring Sir Erik suggesting he ate within his dorm's canteen, but it was still a marvel for the young king.

There were stations that specifically catered to different region's cuisines, some from nations not even within the Gaia Alliance. There were foods and snacks and drinks that Ísar had never heard of, some from the nations of non-human species.

There was also the array of students milling around and the sheer volume of the student population could've probably rivaled his own kingdom's.

"I do not eat meat so I am fine if there's anything like that," Gisela piped in from Ísar's left, looking more tense than usual with her eyes sometimes shifting to Osayi thinking that nobody noticed.

But Ísar noticed, and he found the whole thing somewhat amusing.
