Upon seeing Kushina again, Minato's heart was filled with longing. In his final moments before death, what he had thought about most was the family waiting for him—Kushina, and their unborn child.
Now that he was seeing her again, Minato had been holding back his emotions.
"Minato..."
Kushina couldn't hold back her tears, and as she began to cry, she said, "Why didn't you come back sooner?"
Seeing her like this, Minato was filled with guilt. He quickly walked to Kushina's side and, with an apologetic expression, said, "I'm sorry, Kushina. This is all my fault."
"No, Minato, it's not your fault. It's mine... I should have stopped you back then. If I had, you wouldn't have gone on that mission!"
Kushina shook her head, tears streaming down her face. It had been Minato's day off, specially approved by the Fourth Hokage. She should have been more insistent about refusing Jiraiya's request.
If she had been tougher back then, maybe things would have been different.
"No, it wasn't your fault. It was mine—"
"You made Mom cry!"
Naruto, standing in front of Kushina, pushed Minato hard, sending him back a few steps.
Minato was momentarily stunned by the force of Naruto's push. Though he didn't mind it much since Naruto was his son, he had used chakra to anchor himself to the ground.
"Don't be rude, you idiot son."
Kushina scolded Naruto, hitting him on the head, then bent down and softly said to him, "Naruto, he's your father."
"What?"
Naruto froze upon hearing those words, momentarily forgetting the pain in his head.
Naruto had fought with others before, especially when they made fun of him for not having a father. But now, his mom was telling him that this man was his father. Naruto was at a loss for words.
Naruto had never seen a picture of Minato at home; all the photos had been put away by Kushina, fearing Naruto would ask too many questions about his father.
Now, seeing his real father, Naruto didn't know how to react. He hid behind Kushina, only peeking out to look at Minato, but he didn't say a word.
Kushina said, "Let's talk more at home, Minato. I moved here because there's someone targeting the Nine-Tails. There's a sensory barrier here."
"I know, Kushina. On my way back, the Fifth Hokage already told me."
Minato smiled, but his face soon showed a hint of guilt. "I should have protected you from such powerful enemies."
"It's okay, Minato. Let's go home first."
Kushina shook her head. Minato's kindness only made her feel more guilty inside.
The three of them walked home together, though Naruto still kept his distance, staying on the other side of Kushina.
Minato couldn't help but smile wryly at the sight. He didn't blame Naruto, after all. When he had died unexpectedly during a mission, Naruto hadn't even been born yet.
Now, almost five years had passed.
When they arrived at the house, Minato glanced around and asked, "Kushina, is this just a basic barrier?"
"Yes, the barrier technique can't block space-time jutsu. This is just a sensory barrier. If any third-party chakra appears, Yōichi will sense it, or I can trigger the barrier to send a signal, indicating an enemy."
Kushina nodded as she led Minato inside, explaining further, "The house is smaller than before. It was built in two days once we knew about the enemy. But it's quieter here, and Naruto can often go play with Sasuke."
"I don't go to see that stuck-up Sasuke!"
Naruto tugged on Kushina's clothes, trying to explain.
Kushina chuckled, ruffling Naruto's hair. Her silly son was always at odds with Sasuke, never willing to admit defeat to him.
Once inside, Kushina said to Minato, "It's almost lunchtime. Why don't you stay and have a meal with us?"
Minato smiled and said, "Sure, it's been a long time since I've tasted your cooking, Kushina."
Naruto suddenly interrupted, "Aunt Mina's food is—ouch, ouch!"
Before he could finish, Naruto's head was smacked again, and he obediently went to the table for lunch.
Minato smiled as well. Just seeing Kushina and their son again made him feel content, though he did feel a bit out of place after being gone for so long, especially since this wasn't their old home.
"Let's eat."
Kushina said to both Naruto and Minato. The two exchanged a glance and quickly sat down at the table.
Minato picked up a bite of food with his chopsticks and put it into his mouth. It tasted like dirt, with no flavor, and felt like a foreign object in his mouth. Still, he smiled and said, "Delicious, just like I remember, Kushina!"
After swallowing, Minato realized that in his current Edo Tensei state, he couldn't taste food properly.
Lack of taste was the least of his worries—his Edo body didn't have the ability to digest or expel food. Anything he ate would remain like a foreign object inside him.
If he ate too much, the only way to get rid of the food would be to break his body apart and remove it. Alternatively, he could find some other way to throw it up.
With this realization, Minato ate only a few bites before putting down his chopsticks.
Kushina noticed Minato's actions and wanted to ask if something was wrong, but seeing the cracks in his Edo body, she swallowed her words.
Kushina was torn inside. She had made a decision, but then Minato suddenly returned.
Now, she could ask Yōichi to fulfill his promise and revive Minato. But what about the child inside her? Could she hide it from Minato or abort it?
Kushina's mind was in chaos, and even after Naruto had finished eating, she hadn't touched much of her own food.
"Kushina?"
Minato's voice pulled her from her thoughts, and she quickly stood up, saying, "I'll clean up."
"I'll help you, Kushina."
The two of them quickly cleaned up the dishes, and then Kushina said to Minato, "Minato, why don't you go rest upstairs for a bit?"
"Alright, Kushina, but I can't stay too long. I need to deliver some information to the First and Second Hokage. It seems they've been revived."
Minato glanced at Naruto as he spoke. He only had two or three hours before he had to leave, so he wanted to spend some time bonding with his son.
He had noticed that Naruto seemed eager to talk to him but was too shy or unsure of how to start.
"You're leaving so soon?"
"Yes. Before I came back, I encountered an enemy targeting the Nine-Tails. I witnessed part of their battle with Uchiha Madara, and I need to report this to the First and Second Hokage. From what I've heard, that enemy has also set their sights on the First Hokage."
As they spoke, they made their way upstairs.
In the master bedroom, there wasn't anything particularly notable, except for the balcony where clothes and bedsheets were drying.
Minato looked around and noticed that a lot of things were missing from the room, including the photo that used to sit on the bedside table. But he quickly reasoned that since they had moved here in a hurry, many of their belongings were probably still at their old home.
"Kushina, after I died, a lot must have happened in the village. I heard you almost lost control to the Nine-Tails' chakra, but the village brought Turtle Island from the Hidden Cloud and let you train there to overcome it."
As she spoke, Kushina unconsciously placed a hand on her abdomen. She was thankful that her belly wasn't too big yet; otherwise, Minato might have noticed something was off when they first met.
"You've been through so much, Kushina."
Minato said with guilt in his heart. His death had brought a lot of trouble to her.
"Minato, what are your plans after this? After completing your mission... will you..."
Kushina hesitated for a long time before finally asking the question that had been on her mind.
"I'm not sure. I might stay with Naruto for a while, but in the end, I'll probably return to the afterlife... By the way, Kushina, where's my body? If we don't retrieve it, Madara's people could summon me again."
Minato suddenly realized this and asked in a hurry.
Kushina shook her head. "Don't worry, Minato. The village retrieved your body. As for those who killed you, the village has captured all of them. The mastermind was Obito, who was manipulated by Madara, along with another of Jiraiya-sensei's students, Nagato. They're both in prison now."
"Obito? Uchiha Obito?"
Minato was shocked. Obito, from his own team? How was that possible?
Kushina continued, "Yes, it was him. He's currently being held in the guard's prison under tight security. His ultimate fate will likely be execution. Obito didn't die during the mission; instead, because of..."
As Minato listened, his face was filled with disbelief. He never imagined that Obito, who had once aimed to become Hokage, could do such a thing.
But since Obito had been captured, and with execution likely awaiting him, Minato decided not to dwell on it further.
"Minato, do you... want to be revived?"
Kushina had been wrestling with her thoughts for a long time, ever since they had started eating. She finally gathered the courage to ask.
"Revived? You mean, brought back to life for real?"
"Yes, the Fifth Hokage seems to be able to bring the dead back to life. He revived the First and Second Hokage. If you want, I'm willing to ask him."
After saying this, Kushina's heart was in her throat. She feared Minato's answer, but she had worked so hard to see him revived. If she couldn't even ask the question, she wouldn't be able to forgive herself.
"Revival... It must be very troublesome, right? It must be a forbidden and difficult technique."
Minato could tell how conflicted Kushina was, ever since they had sat down for lunch. She clearly wanted him to come back to life but found it too difficult, hence her distress — even blaming herself.
Minato spoke up, "Kushina, reviving the dead is a forbidden act, surely very complicated. If you ask, it'll put the Fifth Hokage in a difficult position. Let's just forget about it."
"No, Minato, I can still try—"
"Dying during a mission may be a shinobi's fate, Kushina."
Minato interrupted her and continued, "I don't regret anything. As long as I see you safe, and Naruto growing up well, that's enough for me."
"Minato..."
Kushina lowered her head, feeling too overwhelmed to say anything. At the same time, she silently thought that she had failed Minato, not having the courage to speak out.
"Let's not dwell on this, Kushina. I'm going to find Naruto; I still need to deliver that report."
Minato said with a smile.
Kushina looked up at him and forced a smile. "Alright, you go. I'll stay here. Otherwise, Naruto will hide behind me again."
"Haha, I'll definitely make Naruto accept me as his father."
With that, Minato left to find Naruto, while Kushina stayed in the room, silently clenching her fists.
She was deeply conflicted, one moment wanting to tell Minato everything and let him fully come back to life, and the next moment worried about the child inside her, pushing that thought away.
She didn't know how long she had been like that when suddenly she felt an arm wrap around her shoulders. She instinctively said, "Minato, you're back... Wait, why is it you?"
Seeing Yōichi beside her, Kushina panicked. She quickly whispered, "What are you doing here? Minato is still—"
Yōichi shook his head. "How long have you been daydreaming here? Minato has already left, and Naruto went to play with Sasuke."
"What? Minato's gone?"
Kushina was stunned, and as she thought back, she vaguely remembered Minato coming in to say goodbye, but she couldn't recall her response. Naruto also seemed to have said something, but she hadn't paid attention.
Still, Kushina's face turned dark as she said, "Even if Minato's gone, you shouldn't come in like this. He's already back..."
"I just want to know your choice. After seeing Minato, you must have made up your mind, right, Kushina?"
Yōichi ignored Kushina's protest. The bedsheets drying on the balcony were a testament to his "victory." He didn't budge and asked, "Kushina, what's your plan now?"
"This has nothing to do with you!"
Kushina shouted angrily, trying to push Yōichi away, saying, "Leave now. Don't come looking for me for a while!"
"That won't do, Kushina. I think I already know what your choice is."
Yōichi smiled and pulled Kushina closer, pushing her onto the bed. He continued, "Not only do I know your choice, but I can see how frustrated you are. Let me help you get rid of that frustration."
With that, and under Kushina's startled gaze, he silenced her with a kiss.
"No, mmm~ let... let me go..."
"Not now... Not now."
Kushina struggled, but Yōichi reminded her, "Your voice, Kushina. If you don't activate a barrier, everyone will hear."
"You bastard, not today!"
Kushina, face flushed, was embarrassed and furious, but she feared others would hear, so she activated a barrier around the bedroom.
However, just as she finished the barrier, her hands were pinned by Yōichi's chakra.
One by one, the extra clothes fell to the floor.
"Ngh—"

By the time Kushina came to her senses again, several hours had passed, and the sky was growing dark. She lay staring at the ceiling, her breathing still erratic, but she could feel the warmth spreading from her abdomen, and her energy was rapidly recovering.
How much time had passed? Kushina wasn't sure. She only knew that she was a terrible person—someone who had been trying to escape the turmoil in her heart, succumbing to Yōichi's words, and even indulging her desires, willingly doing things she never thought she would do.
Splits, high kicks—all of that.
"Kushina, that's enough. Get up and clean yourself up. Naruto will be back soon."
Yōichi said as he transferred some life energy to her. When he saw the complicated look in Kushina's eyes, he knew that her decision had already been made.
After all they had done, and with the child now on the way, Yōichi didn't know why Kushina's darker side hadn't emerged, but there was no turning back for her.
Just moments ago, when she was on the verge of climax, Yōichi had even asked her if she wanted to go back. Controlled by desire, Kushina had shouted "no" and shook her head.
They bathed, changed clothes, cleaned the bedsheets, and aired out the room. Even though Minato would definitely not come back tonight, Naruto might enter, so Kushina always made sure everything was clean and neat.
Kushina, with a cold expression, asked, "Let me make it clear—don't come back here for a while. At least wait until Minato leaves, or I won't agree to anything."
"I understand. For the sake of the child, I'll be careful from now on. But you must promise me that the moment Minato leaves, you'll inform me!"
Yōichi said, giving her a quick kiss, and though Kushina just huffed and turned her head, she didn't move away.
As for Yōichi's words, Kushina didn't believe them at all. Anything "for the sake of the child" was just nonsense; if it really was for the child, he wouldn't have been as wild as a bull, using all those different positions.
Once Yōichi left, Kushina plopped down on the bed, covering her face.
She really was a terrible woman, deceiving the one who loved her most, Minato.
"I'm such a hopeless person."
Kushina sat on the bed for a while, tugging at her red hair. She knew what she had to do now—hide everything that had happened and keep it all a secret.
Even when she gave birth, that bastard would definitely take care of everything, and there would be no issues. But deep down, Kushina still felt immensely guilty towards Minato.
And now that Minato had returned to Konoha in his Edo Tensei body, if she had to face him every day, Kushina felt she wouldn't be able to bear it. Her guilt would make life unbearable.
"Minato... please leave soon..."
...
"For the time being, I'll be training for a while. I'll leave the village matters to you, Sakumo-senpai."
Yōichi said to Sakumo, whose expression immediately turned awkward when he heard that.
He had already retired...
Curious, Sakumo asked, "Yōichi-kun, will it take long?"
"With the first three Hokage gone, only you can handle the responsibilities in the village. Besides, Sakumo-senpai, this is for the village."
Yōichi used the greater good of the village to convince Sakumo. In reality, there wasn't much that needed his attention, just someone to oversee things.
Moreover, Yōichi still had a clone stationed in Konoha specifically for emergency communication.
"Fine, I'll keep an eye on the village for a while. But, Yōichi-kun, it's been a long time since I handled village affairs. I might be a bit rusty."
Sakumo hinted that he hoped Yōichi would come back to take over village matters as soon as possible.
However, Yōichi didn't give him a definite answer. He really needed to focus on training for a while. Earlier that morning, another batch of his clones had dissolved, sending back the refined genetic primal energy, making him feel a sense of "fullness."
Godzilla, who had long been inactive and almost lost sentience, had also started undergoing a mutation inside Yōichi's body.
While Yōichi had complete control over all of Godzilla's powers, that morning, his body had suddenly started to overheat.
Coupled with the "fullness" from the genetic primal energy, Yōichi had a feeling that he was about to break through.
Beyond a High-level God of War lay the planetary level. Not only was Yōichi cultivating genetic primal energy, but he had also absorbed a great deal of powerful chakra recently, which had evolved his eyes into the Six Tomoe Rinnegan.
The chakra breakthrough had strengthened his physique considerably, facilitating the cultivation of genetic primal energy.
So, after arranging matters in the village and leaving three emergency wooden clones behind, Yōichi headed alone to Rōran.
After turning Sunagakure into a Sand District, the third oasis town was designated for Rōran. Yōichi had already arranged for people to contact Rōran and explain the benefits of merging with Konoha.
Rōran was a small country, with the oasis slowly being eroded. Moving to the oasis town built by Konoha was advantageous for the people of Rōran. Although there would no longer be a queen of Rōran, Sara could serve as the head of Konoha's oasis town.
Sara hardly hesitated before agreeing. After defeating Anrokuzan, her biggest concern had been the erosion of Rōran.
Even if Konoha hadn't sent people to negotiate, Sara had been considering relocation. In another ten years, this place would have completely deteriorated, and Rōran would have had to move anyway.
Sara's only concern was the Dragon Vein, but the messenger from Konoha assured her that the Dragon Vein would be properly sealed, and everything was resolved quickly.
This was also thanks to Sara's positive impression of Konoha, having been helped by their shinobi. Coupled with the opportunity to join Konoha and gain an oasis town free from wind and sand erosion, it was an obvious choice for any rational person.
Helping with Rōran's relocation had been designated by Yōichi as an S-rank mission, and Senju Tobirama had arranged for thirty shinobi teams and some transportation convoys to assist, ensuring Rōran's relocation went smoothly.
When Yōichi arrived in Rōran after handling village matters, it had already become an empty city.
He set up a new barrier and partially lifted a seal, allowing the Dragon Vein's energy to slowly dissipate before preparing to break through.
A High-level God of War breaking through to the planetary level, along with the fourth level of the Thunder Annihilation Chakra Mode, and the changes within Godzilla...
Yōichi cautiously sensed his body's condition before sitting down in a meditative position to begin his training.
Energy was continuously absorbed into his body, and as time passed, Yōichi seemed to become the center of an energy vortex, with massive amounts of energy surging towards him.
Inside Yōichi's sealed space, Godzilla seemed to have gained an instinctual consciousness, and its massive body glowed with a brilliant purple light that grew increasingly intense.
"Roar!"
When the purple glow on Godzilla's body reached its peak, it let out a roar before the light dispersed, transforming into countless radiant points that merged into Yōichi's body.
After Godzilla disappeared, the seal on him also lost its effect, but at that moment, Yōichi couldn't bother with the seal.
Suddenly, he felt intense pain throughout his body. Crystalline scales formed on his skin, and a tail with dorsal fins sprouted from his back, glowing brightly in purple.
Thump, thump, thump—
His heartbeat echoed like the tolling of a bell, and with each beat, the purple glow on his body dimmed and then flared brightly.
Yōichi's skin also turned paler, and on top of the crystalline scales, a white magatama-patterned robe appeared, formed by the transformation of Six Paths chakra.
Time slowly passed, and eventually, an immense surge of energy burst from Yōichi's body.
The terrifying energy surge, more violent than an S-rank Wind Release, instantly destroyed the barrier around the Dragon Vein, ravaging the entire Rōran.
Rumble!
This powerful outburst was like a desert storm, lasting for seven or eight minutes before gradually calming down.
Now, except for the tower sealing the Dragon Vein, all of Rōran had turned into ruins.
Having successfully broken through, Yōichi stood on top of the Dragon Vein's seal, feeling the changes in his strength.
"I didn't expect the changes to be this significant. Even Godzilla is gone..."
Yōichi looked at his arm beneath the Six Paths robe. The crystalline scales were much like Godzilla's, but he was able to retract them at will.
"Now I am Godzilla. I can transform into a hundreds-of-meters tall Godzilla, but there's no need for that."
Yōichi flew high into the air, his body glowing purple. Gathering the purple glow into his hand, Yōichi raised his palm and aimed it at the empty desert.
Zzz!
Boom!
A purple beam shot from Yōichi's hand, striking the distant desert and instantly causing a massive explosion.
The explosion's flames and shockwave were akin to a Tailed Beast Bomb, and the violent blast turned Rōran, already in ruins, into complete debris.
Yōichi merely protected the Dragon Vein with a barrier, paying no attention to the rest. It was already a ruin and would be rebuilt later.
A hundred-meter-deep crater appeared in the distant desert. If Yōichi had used the full power of the beam, it would likely have created a crater a kilometer deep.
Moreover, the strongest feature of the beam was its formidable cutting power when focused into a single ray. It had even sliced through a Tailed Beast's chakra body before.
"Now I don't need to fire the beam from my mouth. I didn't expect the planetary-level breakthrough in my genetic primal energy to merge Godzilla's abilities with my own—it's so convenient."
Yoichi was a bit surprised himself. Previously, if he wanted to use Godzilla's abilities, he had to transform into the full Godzilla form. However, after gaining the Rinnegan and his genetic abilities, he gradually abandoned the idea of using Godzilla to fight.
The bulky Godzilla body was more of a hindrance when facing opponents of similar level.
But now, it was different. Yoichi himself was like a humanoid Godzilla. He possessed all of Godzilla's abilities, and whether it was the crystalline scales or the tail with dorsal fins, they were all weapons that enhanced his power.
As for his appearance, Yoichi didn't find anything wrong with it.
"In today's ninja world, who could possibly be my opponent?"
Yoichi couldn't help but smile as he spoke. His power had greatly increased, and he no longer had to worry about any threats. Unless it was something like the explosion of the universe, he was practically immortal, and he could protect the people around him.
The Raimei Chakra Mode had also advanced to the fourth level. With his current physical strength, he could achieve a ninefold burst of power at full force.
With this, Yoichi had to hold back his strength a bit; otherwise, he could turn his enemies into dust with a single punch.
Afterward, Yoichi cleaned up Roran, piling the rubble to one side. He then used sealing techniques and barriers to protect the Ryūmyaku before heading back home.
He had begun his training in the morning, and when he woke up, it was still morning. It was impossible that he had only trained for one or two hours. This time, his breakthrough must have taken at least a whole day.
Currently, Madara was like a fish he was raising. Yoichi was looking forward to the day Madara would become the Jinchūriki of the Ten-Tails and revive Kaguya.
As for Urashiki and the hidden Isshiki, they were hard to find.
Both of those guys had space-time abilities, and it was incredibly easy for them to hide from ordinary shinobi. Searching for the Kara organization might have some hope, but once they started searching, it would likely alert Isshiki, making him hide even further.
Before completing his Kāma resurrection, Isshiki was likely more cautious than a rat.
...
Back in the village.
Yoichi asked Mina and found out he had been away for two days.
However, Yoichi had no intention of returning to handle village affairs. There wasn't anything significant happening, just some small matters that needed reporting. Even Kurenai and Rumi could handle them.
Thinking of his disciple, Rumi, Yoichi suddenly remembered that there were descendants of Hamura and the Tenseigan on the moon.
That massive Tenseigan would be too much for him alone to absorb, so Yoichi thought of Rumi immediately.
She had great respect for him, and Yoichi had nurtured her from a young age. Moreover, her relationship with the Hyuga Clan's main family wasn't good, aside from the Caged Bird Seal on her forehead. Rumi was almost the ideal assistant he could hope for, someone worth nurturing.
Furthermore, Yoichi wanted to try evolving the Tenseigan first, and Rumi was his best choice.
After informing Mikoto and Mina, Yoichi headed towards the Hokage Tower.
When he arrived at the Hokage's office, he happened to pass by Sakumo's office, just as Sakumo opened the door and walked out.
Seeing Yoichi, Sakumo smiled, "Yoichi-kun, you're back."
"I'm just a clone, coming to find someone," Yoichi replied, pretending to be a wood clone handling business. He then ignored Sakumo and walked into his office.
"Rumi, you... hmm?"
Upon entering, Yoichi saw Rumi sitting in his chair.
It wouldn't have been a big deal if she was just sitting there, but it seemed like she was bending down to look under the desk. Was there something under there?
"Yo-Yoichi-sensei?"
Rumi blushed and stood up when she saw Yoichi come in. She had been trying to figure out how Rin had crouched down back then and managed to keep swaying, so she hadn't noticed the movement outside. That's why Yoichi caught her in such an awkward position.
But before Yoichi could ask anything, Rumi quickly spoke, "Yoichi-sensei, you've returned, does that mean the training went well?"
"Yes, it went fairly well. But for now, don't tell the Fourth Hokage, only you and Kurenai need to know. If there's anything urgent during this time, you can come to my place to find me."
Having been interrupted like that, Yoichi decided not to question what Rumi was doing. She was only sitting in his chair, after all.
"Rumi, I need to talk to you about something. Let Kurenai know and come with me."
"Yes, Yoichi-sensei."
Rumi smiled sweetly, thinking to herself how amusing it would be to see Kurenai's reaction when she found the scroll she had left behind.
After leaving a scroll for Kurenai, Rumi followed Yoichi out of the Hokage Tower to an empty training ground. There, Yoichi asked her directly:
"Rumi, would you like to remove the Caged Bird Seal on your forehead?"
"Wh-what?"
Rumi widened her eyes in shock and asked again in disbelief, "Yoichi-sensei, did you just say the Caged Bird?"
"Yes, I have discovered the legacy of the Hyuga Clan's ancestors, which may grant you great power. But I don't know if you can accept this legacy with the Caged Bird Seal, so I want to remove it first."
Yoichi explained. The Caged Bird Seal caused defects in the Byakugan, and although he hadn't tested it, he instinctively believed that a flawed Byakugan couldn't evolve into a Tenseigan.
He needed to find a way to remove the seal first before attempting to evolve Rimei's Byakugan.
And Yoichi didn't know many from the Hyuga Clan. He had previously reprimanded the main family as the Hokage, and apart from Rumi, he wasn't interested in helping any other Hyuga member unlock the Tenseigan.
"Rumi, did you understand what I meant? If you are willing..."
"I am, Yoichi-sensei!"
Tears welled up in Rumi's eyes as she suddenly hugged Yoichi.
After about five or six seconds, she blushed and let go, happily removing her forehead protector. "Yoichi-sensei, I've dreamed of getting rid of the Caged Bird Seal."
"Alright, since you agreed, I'll try my best to remove the seal."
"Even if I die from an accident, I will only feel grateful towards you, Yoichi-sensei."
Rumi wiped the tears from the corner of her eyes and continued, "The Caged Bird Seal is difficult to remove. They say the only way for branch members to get rid of it is through death. Even if it can't be removed, it's already enough that you thought of me, Yoichi-sensei."
"Every technique has a way to break it. Let me try first. If it doesn't work, I'll ask Hiashi for information on the seal for further study."
Yoichi comforted her. Yin-Yang Release could nullify any technique except Senjutsu, including seals and barriers. Even if the Caged Bird Seal was unique, it couldn't compare to the power of Yin-Yang Release.
Using chakra as thin as a strand of hair, Yoichi slowly touched the seal, and with that, the Caged Bird Seal began to dissolve and disintegrate.
After a few minutes, Yoichi withdrew his hand and said to Rimei, who was still nervous, "Alright, Rumi, check your Byakugan's blind spot."
"It... did it work!?"
Rumi excitedly opened her eyes and quickly formed a hand sign. "Byakugan!"
She could see everything—her previous blind spot was gone.
Yoichi then used Water Release to create a water mirror, allowing Rumi to see her now clean forehead. She used to cover it with a forehead protector to hide the ugly Caged Bird Seal, but now, she no longer needed it.
Rumi stared at her reflection in the water for a moment, then touched her forehead to confirm. After that, she hugged Yoichi again. "Yoichi-sensei, the Caged Bird is gone, and it's all thanks to you!"
This time, it wasn't just a moment of excitement. It took all her courage to do it, and as she hugged Yoichi, her heart was filled with sweetness and happiness.
