Chapter 24: Chap 23: Beautiful morning
[Young Justice]
It's been couple of days since that... scuffle now. Yes that how we are calling it between us because that how it looked like from a third perspective.
Ofcourse that just between us because the Justice League will without doubt not be happy knowing that, they got the beating of their life and we call it a scuffle! It does sound like an immature joke from their perspective but again, that's how we saw it.
It's has been peaceful, well as much as peaceful can get in this world just couple criminals, thiefs and gangs nothing over the top just the usual. But it was... different, something is missing, someone. And we all know who.
Megan was the saddest or at least she felt it the most because well, Zane was always there for her, to talk with her, make her feel happy and at home.
Wally and Connor were absent-minded most of the time, like they are thinking about something important or some life changing decision.
Artemis was not better, she was sad like Megan and contemplating like the boys. Zane was also there for her, he knew everything about her and her family, not shocking since Batman and Arrow who brought her here also knew.
While she was grateful for them and knew they were trying to help her, Zane was different. He talked to her and tried to understand her, there was no watching no test no judging. He was just there encouraging her and even after he left, he's still looking out for her in the shape of a message he left with the gift he gave her.
"It doesn't matter who you were and where you come from. You are not what your father wanted you to be nor what your past made you, you are what you want to be and where you want to be at. Your past didn't make you, you. And you make your future"
As much as he tried to sound wise and all she did feel his sincerity and knew he could relate to her knowing his background.
Robin and Aquald were silent acting normally, they too had some things on their mind especially Robin but he was used to it.
Zatanna, while she didn't know Zane much she was also grateful to him. He practically saved her father from being the slave of the helmet of fate, somehow he reached an agreement with Dr. Fate and made him make a deal with her father to only wear the helmet when it was necessary and needed, not just forever. How he achieved that she didn't know but she thought he was such a badass and would have loved to know him better.
So while the team was adjusting their lives to the lack of presence of Zane they all remembered their last meeting with him and what he left them with.
[Flashback]
"You see Connor, when me and you got out of Cadmus I didn't just go out immediately, I was aware of everything in the building the moment I opened my eyes, I saw you and the team fighting Desmond, I saw the genomorphs I saw every hidden place there was and every scientist there is in cadmus, so I investigated a little I read everything in those computers and saw every room and get rid of some stuff, do you know what I found out?
You see, I was the first ever clone to be made they just added everything they could to make me the most perfect or something, then they thought I was unsuccessful and a failure but they didn't even know half of the truth but that doesn't matter what I want to say is we are not the only one"
Hearing that Superboy aka Conner was a little bit schocked and a bit angry but he have his full focus and kept listening.
"Before you there was another one, with pure kryptonian blood but it was unstable and didn't work so they kept him in ice like they did wirh me and tried another one and this time they succeeded, it was you. Now do you know what is the different between all of us?
I am not a clone of Superman but someone, something else, and you have superman Kryptonian dna and a human dna."
Schock after schock kept hammering Connor's mind and being, he knew Zane was different he thought he was more perfect but not entirely different and now he knows what is wrong with him, why he's not as powerful as Superman because he's only half kryptonian.
"Yes you are half human that why you can't fly, not strong enough and there's no laser eyes and stuff. Here's the twist guess who's your human dna donor.
Lex Luthor."
"!!"
"Now I am not giving you history lesson about us and cadmus. What I am getting at is, in the future or maybe never Luther will contact you, try to manipulate you somehow by telling this to you and he will probably be successful somehow or at least get something out of it. He isn't a genius businessman for nothing after all and what he hides behind is a lot more than that.
So here's my gift to you Connor, I made this serum for you, it will correct your dna and stop the human side from suppressing your Kryptonian side it will literally take the positives of both sides and eliminate the negatives, who knows kryptonite might not even work on you after you take it. Now make no mistakes this won't change you in any way you will still be you but better, call it a physical upgrade if you will."
Connor kept his eyes on the green vial in his hands conflict and thoughts hammering his head after all the revelations.
Sure Zane can simply give him the power without the serum but why will he do that.
'I don't intend to tell anyone at the moment about my meta ability or maybe ever, it's better if they think of me as a really smart and very strong person and that's more than they need, I have a fun idea for my meta side.'
"The other one what happened to him" asked Connor aftrr a while, trying to distract himself from all the new informations.
"He no longer exist"
"You killed him" it was a very effective distraction because he felt angry now for some reason.
"He was never alive to begin with Connor he was literally a body with no mind, and when he get outside he will only have destruction in his mind till his body give up and deteriorate.
I don't doubt Luther would have dug him up in the future and did some druggin or mind control to make him the perfect tool so yeah I gave him peace he and all the other unsuccessful genomorphs who were with him, who do you think talked to dubbilex and helped him and his people get the chance to go to Mars and live instead of being some labrats or some chores labor?
They would have never got their rights here on earth you already saw the world Connor, they litterally fight because any and everything, be it color, race, ethnity and religion and power. That's why I don't want to be a hero Connor they will fight no matter what and there will alway be criminals and heroes no matter the age. But it looks like it worked for you and I know you will achieve great things in the future and this will only help you.
It's a gift from me Connor, take it or not just leave it with you and when you think you are ready you'll know what to do."
This left Connor with a lot more thought than before. He wants something to punch now.

"Yo kid what's up, eat whatever you want it's on me." Zane and Wally were in a restaurant with Zane ordering an all-you-can-eat buffet for both while they speak.
"So you see kid I was with you for a time now and I watched you and observed you throughout your missions or when in the cave and I noticed something worrying kid."
This got Wally's attention from his food and now he was listening more attentively.
"Your metabolism is way more higher than it should be even with the speed you have, not even Flash consumes as much as you and he's faster, and with the way your going your body won't be able to hold much longer.
Noticing Wally's confusion Zane went to explain more "What I am saying here is one day you will die because of the speed you have because your body won't have enough energy to consume except itself."
Now Wally stopped eating understanding how grave the situation is.
"But dont worry I have a late present for you. This serum is made specifically for you, I call it smart serum, what this baby will do is it will look at both your power and dna and see whats the problem there and fix it now it won't change you pr anything, it will take the positives things from both and leave the negatives out for example you won't burn much energy anymore instead you will produce more than enough which will also help you get faster till one day you will be at Flash level or might even surpass him, you may also get a bit more stronger physicaly after all you need a strong body and legs to run this fast no?"
Wally like the impulsive person he is got excited and tried to take the serum from Zane's hand but well he was not fast enough and Zane took his hand back.
"But I have to warn you, listen kid you know my relationship with the league haven't been the best lately and it won't last any longer this serum is for you and it will ONLY work with you but if the League knew I was the one who made and gave it to you they will never allow you to take it because they don't trust me and they will try to study it to see if there is anything wrong with it or something and I hope not but I came to realize that this world works like that.
If this get in the wrong hands and someone somehow which is highly unlikely but like I said if they somehow are able to study and replicate this thing even a little then we will have a lot of problems so its your decision I spent years working on it and I doubt anyone on this planet will ever be able to make something even closely like it in 100 years, so Wally take it or not it's yours just leave it with you."
Wally was now thinking more carefully about what he heard while clutching the red serum in his hands, he understood the danger and consequences.
"By the way the upgrade will take time and you will feel it gradually and don't worry about any pain or something like that the most you'll feel is some tickling and that is it. Wish you luck kid."
"Why?" That all Wally had to ask at the moment.
"Because I don't want you to die kid."

"Nice talking to my favorite almost normal guys of the team"
"Why almost" asked Robin.
"Because no normal teenagers can throw arrows that good or do stealth and hacking this masterfully not to mention all the acrobatics and jumping like in a circus"
This got both Robin and Artemis to laugh a bit.
"Anyway I have gifts for you two, while you might be able to take anyone on the team without powers with skills alone your bodies can't match them and I don't want you to get hurt in the future so... I made these to even the playfield." said Zane showing them two circular disks of some kind, they can see some circuits glowing and moving with both having their own symbols and colors.
"These two are nanosuits with the best technology I could get my hands on, each one specifically made to your preference and work for you and only you, there's an Ai installed in it that will help you with the tutorial and set all the passwords and voice access and whatsoever.
Actually I don't even get why you don't have one already by now I am sure daddy B have all it take to build some speaking of, you Robin probably don't trust me enough maybe due to Batman's training or because of him personally so you have access to do all you want and hack it to your heart content you can do anything aside from replicating it and selling it around, you know copyright and all.
You can let him check on it too Artemis but I recommend Red Tornado too."
"No I trust you and WE thank you, you shouldn't have to" while Robin kept silent and didn't show anything on his face Artemis frowned seeing that and expressed her gratitude. That was the first time someone gave her something this valuable and honestly what girl doesn't like gifts?
"Haha thanks Artemis I appreciate it and don't blame him too much, we all have our own circumstances after all right" Zane just chuckled and gave her a wink.
"But you are not here just to give us gifts and spend time with us are you" spoke Robin finally after observing the device a bit.
"Ah as perceptive as ever Robin, yeah you are right you probably already guessed it but I won't be staying long anymore with you"
"What but why? is it because the league I am sure the team c...-" Artemis tried to say but was interrupted by Zane.
"It's okay Artemis, I always knew I don't belong there with you and that I won't be staying long I actually spent more time than I thought because of the team, I did enjoy my time with all of you it was fun but it's time for me to move on and do what I want to do."
"And what will you do then" asked Robin.
"Not sure, probably travel around build a company go to space these thing you know"
"Build a company" "go to space" both said at the same time with some intrigue.
"Hahah yeah I need legal money to enjoy myself and earth is too small considering what's out there."

"You know Megan between all the team you may be my favorite but don't tell anyone okay let it be our little secret." Zane and Megan were currently in a Mall shopping and eating some sweets, sometimes talking normally the other mentally.
"That's why it really make me sad when I see you hurt yourself like that you should know more than anyone else how dangerous mental problem can be can't you?"
Zane to her schock grew serious once they sat down and received their ordered drinks.
"How did you know?" Megan lowered her head and asked, she didn't want anyone to know this but somehow Zane knew and she is sure she can't hide it from him.
"Relax Megan, I knew from the moment we first spoke telepathically that you were different than your uncle, I thought you were stronger or had untapped potential but after the simulation training everything got clearer.
I felt the difference between you two more deeply and knew you were different.
Look Megan I don't care what you are and how you look like and I don't think anyone will care especially not Connor, look at us after all maybe we three can be a team in the future or something hhay."
This got her to cheer up a bit thought got her embarrassed too at the mention of Connor.
"I don't known how you grew up on Mars and what your circumstances were and why you are hiding yourself like that but you should let yourself free Megan it's normal for you to feel like that you are still young after all even human feel like that most of the time you should know from all the shows you watch."
"Really?"
"You have no idea, tell me an issue that exist and I will tell you if they don't have it instead of having it, like... they have problems with their looks, bodies, self esteem and confidence they even have problem with their religion, ethnicity even their sex and gender, so compared to them you don't really have much to worry about Megan, try talk with Connor first and then slowly the rest."
This made Megan think a bit, it's true she is different but... everyone here is different. Heck she's on a different planet already so why is she really afraid?
"Sadly beside the advice I don't have anything that can really help you. After all only you can help you. But i got you this"
Zane showed her an advanced technological armband that she weirdly thought she can control like her bio-suit.
"Here you can download every Tv-serie or movie or comics and magazines, whatever is there on this planet, you have unlimited internet access and it works telepathically too and will respond only to you the moment you communicate with it, you can shapeshift it too like your clothes so it can be anything you want once it merge with the rest amd will even upgrade it a notch.
"Thank you Zane" Megan smiled sweetly and hugged Zane and thanked him.
"You are welcome kiddo"

Zane and Aqualad were at the beach sitting and talking a bit when Zane gave him a circular disk with his symbol and colors on it.
"I really didn't know what to give you, you are efficient and don't lack weapons or much protections and you are on the way to become a great leader but you doubt yourself too much soo... I decided to give you a push."
"This is a nano protective smartsuit I didn't add much as I said you don't need it but I made it comfy and made some heat resistance, cold resistance, physical and energy attack resistance and added couple more to the stuff and I downloaded some good books about leadership and good leaders and more. But the best is this suit can generate water for you so you don't have to be near water everytime or if you ever feel dehydrated or whatever. There's a tutorial inside you will learn everything."
"I... don't know what to say." Kaldur was.. overwhelmed? he didn't know as he didn't expect to receive a gift so he didn't know how to react.
"You don't have to say anything just take it and use it wisely, it won't work with anyone aside from you and I doubt anyone will be able to replicate or study it so don't bother giving it to your kingdom or something but well it's yours so you do what you want."

"Woman, you don't need all that much stuff we can literally come back whenever you want or buy things from there!!" Zane was stuck arguing with Serly while she was all over the place mumbling and stuffing more things in her bags.
"Are you kidding? I got a vacation from work and you are taking me to travel around the world starting with Paris, ofcourse I want to make sure I am prepared."
*Exhale* Zane just breathed out softly thinking ' I swear this woman never cared about these stuff she just wears her lab coat and goes to work leaving mess behind her, what got to her now.'
Serly suddenly turned to look at him and squinted her eyes a bit and said with a sweet smile that didn't really convince Zane that much "Did you say something honey?"
Zane got some goosebumps suddenly, ignored how she called him honey and just said " No... take your time"
"Okii..*muah*" she just like nothing happened gave him a kiss and continued whatever the hell she was doing.
'I swear woman are some mystical supernatural beings that should not be possible to exist, how and why did I feel goosebumps and danger is beyond me' thought Zane secretly trying to hide any and every possible intent that escaped him which should not be possible to happen at his level.

[Serling 'Serly' Roquette P.O.V]
Serly was happy, overly so. She was traveling around the world with her Zane, yes HER.
Now more than ever she knew she wanted to be with him especially after he told her about his adventures in another universe and the new things that happened with the Justice League.
For her it was just a couple of days, a week maybe? For him it has been years.. who knows what he really did and who he met?
Her womanly senses were telling her something surely happened, and he didn't try to hide much. He didn't say everything, she knows that but he probably tried not to make her sad or something which again made her happy and fall more for him that he's being truthful with her even though he didn't have to since... well they are not together together. Not officially anyway, something she will have to change in this trip.
That why the moment they got in their hotel room facing the Eiffel Tower she took him to bed and made sure to make him feel good.
"You have to see Batman's face it was so funny I had hard time not to laugh" Zane was showing her a video of him beating the WHOLE Justice League and she has to be honest it was kinda funny seeing Batman's pissed off face.
The video quality was also very good and realistic despite the smoke and yells she could hear and see everything clearly. And he was showing her through a hard light hologram thing that came from his morphing clothes that she was sure had some Nano and some space warping technology where she kept her luggage and souvenirs.
She honestly got jealous seeing these tech but he told her he got something for her later so she will just wait obediently for now.
When Zane first told her he got thrown to another universe and had to spend some years there to come back then had a magical helmet posses him and then fight with the League she was worried he might have gotten injured or if he's a criminal now or whatever, she didn't care about that mind you she was just worried about him, but now seeing the recorded videos, well she is not worried anymore that's for sure.
Somehow she felt.... proud. Her man beat the Justice league alone, who can confidently say that happened before? Villains pop up right and left trying to beat them and fail and he just did that casually and shrugged like it's not a big deal.
Somehow that got her hot.. like really hot she just jumped him then and there and the rest was history.
They were having a nice picnic alone somewhere between Italy and Switzerland facing the sea, and she was wearing some sexy bikini underneath her clothes she bought especially for him.
She will normally never wear something even closely that... slutty, but for him it's fine and they were alone anyway and she won't lie she enjoyed every second his eyes wandered along her body while she took her clothes off, slowly. Very slowly.
It gave her satisfaction knowing she was not the only one watching, she was holding herself not to put the food on his stomach and eat from there. This bastard and his Adonis sculpted abs and chest and..*gulp*.

'Here, I said it' she tried to cheer herself up and force herself not to tear up because she was afraid he will leave her but she has to be courageous it's now or never.
"Serly" he looked at her in the eyes and put a hand on her cheek, his finger sweeping a tear that escaped her, she instinctively holded his hand and got her face closer to it. His face didn't change much, he was still smiling sweetly at her.
"Tell me Serly, if I told you there's a way for you to live long, very long. Becoming Immortal, will you take it?"
She got confused at first, it was an interesting question. Who didn't dream about being immortal before especially a scientist like herself.
He didn't really give her much time to think and answer " You know Serly, I don't have anything against relationships or anything and obviously you are an amazing, intelligent and beautiful women"
she got butterflies in her stomach with every word he said and it made her really happy hearing that although they joked and flirted often it just felt different this time.
"Honestly anyone will be lucky to be with you." She got hopeful for a moment " that why it won't be fair for you to be with me" and confused again.
"I..-i don't understand, why?"
"Because I will live for a long time Serly, I am practically Immortal I won't die unless someone kill me and that's a very hard thing to do" he chuckled at the end.
"I am selfish and greedy, I told you how I got close to another woman and how she's fine with me having others but she's different from you she lived long and will live long after, and I am sure she won't be the only one. You don't know everything about me Serly, I have plans some are good some are bad...."
He did indeed tell her about 'Her', she got sad at first tried not to feel a heartbreak or panic. She tried to tell herself they were not together in a serious relationship, that for him it was too long, that he's an amazing and handsome man it's not weird he will attract someone.
"...My point is Serly, I don't want to watch as you get older with time, I don't want to see you dying in front of my eyes. If I want you to be with me then I want to have you forever with me. That's how greedy and selfish I am Serly, and that's not fair for you... can you say again that you want to be with me after everything you heard?"
He kept talking and explaining, and she kept silent and hearing, she never thought about it like that and she doubt anyone did.
Imagine living so long you see the people around you, the people you love and care about growing older and dying all to be left alone. It terrified her. He was right, it hurts her just thinking about it then how does it feel for him who will see it happen?
How will she feel seeing more women around him? I mean sure some contries do allow more than one woman, wife or concubine and whatsoever. But she's just a normal and modern woman, she never thought about that.
But then again he was never a normal man, she knew it and he explained it but she did it anyway and fell for him. And is the world she's living in normal anyway? Superhuman, meta-human, aliens, magic and who knows what? Hell he just came from another universe altogether and can go back whenever he wants!!
He went to a more advanced world and came back and showed her some techs and gadgets better than what she spent her life working at till now.
So... is there a reason for her to hesitate? Just because he defies the 'norm'!
Will she rather live her mundane life, continue working till she gets old and can no more then die and that's it? Or die because some thugs or petty thieves or those psychopaths criminals? Or rather lives forever with this man who litterally flew and phased throught her life, told her stories she thought were Theories, and flew with her again through the world in mere hours?
Will she just cower now because that was not the normal she used to have? When did she care about being seen as normal?
Just because he will have more than one women around him? He is a beast anyway she can't satisfy him alone he will break her. Not that she minds but it will be good to have help.
She felt more happy with him the last two months than she felt for the last couple of years of her life.
The answer is obvious isn't?
"So If I became Immortal like you, we can be together?"
"Erhm... yeah?" Zane felt weird for some reasons how she just looked at him straight in the face her face new like she wasn't sad and about to cry a river a second ago and asked that so easily.
"Ok" without missing a beat Serly directly answered without hesitation.
"What?" Serly just smiled sweetly at him, titled her head cutely to the side and said " I said it's ok"
"Erhm Serly, you did hear what I said right?"
"Yes"
"And all that is fine with you?"
"Yes"
"Me having more women? You know that's a harem right?"
"Yes it's fine"
"Immortality can be a curse you know?"
"It won't be a curse if I am with you"
"I am not a good person!"
"It's fine I love how you are" she said and kissed his cheek leaving him frozen for words but she stood up and continued " Let's go!"
"H-huh? Wait Serly where are you going?"
"I still have some days off, if we worked without a sleep we can search a way to find Immortality or some ways to prolong life atleast so we will be together forever hurry up let's not waste anymore time"
'Wtf just happened?' Zane couldn't understand what's happening anymore, truly he felt like loosing some brain cells speaking with her and again he doesn't understand how this is possible. Looking at her he smiled a bit warmly 'Maybe that's not a bad thing. Shitt! I have to stop this cazy woman before she packs everything away'

Days later....
Laying down on bed in some hotel in Dubai, Serly sleeping on my chest naked after a long session, she's been going extra in this vacation especially after her confession two days ago. I imagine her born in Gotham and some accident or weird circumstances happened to her and boom the world have a second Harley specialized in machines and nanotechnology.
Shit imagine a mix between Harley and Ivy, a slighty crazy woman with nanobots army instead of plants.
My imagination sure is wild.
Damn she will be a menace. That's how crazy she's going with me. Am I bad influence? Meh I like crazy women anyway.
After calming her down and telling her I already have a way for Immortality just need some time and some excuses she finally settled down and we continued our journey.
She somehow got more happy suddenly and more kinky in bed too for some reason but I am not complaining.
Who would have thought that just because I saved her coincidentally to not feel guilty would end with us together like that? I thought after all I told her she will just cry a bit and accept the hard truth and leave to find someone or something.
But nop! She just went 'it's just Immortality let's do some research' like girl I do have Immortality and it wasn't hard to acquire it but still. It's Immortality we are talking about!!!
If other scientists heard you they will start puking blood and start some 'courting death' bullshit or something.
Anyway I will wait for Vandal first and compare them together and then try to merge them to have the best result and then give it to her along with some powers to keep her safe.
But need to do some experiments first to see if there are some negative reactions. I need some prisoners or criminals from this world to see if there are some differences or something.
We already visited all the noteworthy and interesting places I always wanted to back then, it was easier when you can just fly and fool anyone so they don't ask questions and more fun when you speak the language fluently too.
Today is the last day and tomorrow Serly will have to go back work, she said she will quit but I told her to wait a bit and not be in a hurry. Man so impulsive and short tampered like I first met her.
I still need a base and place to settle without anyone bothering me, I am planning to find some planet not so far from Earth but not close too. Preferably with a blue sun but a normal one can work too.
I thought about the Warworld but I don't know where it is now. I know it will be here sometime in 2016 which is about five years from now, I don't know if searching for it will be worth it I may take even more time to find it and then it will be all for naught. But I definitely won't let Savage have it, maybe I will even intercept it before it appear.
Yeah the place I need to find should be close to Earth or at least the same trajectory and direction. It will be much convenient if it just passed by the planet I'm inhabiting then I can take it secretly. Yeah let's do that.
So plan #1: find a good planet to inhabit preferably with a sun around.
#2: terraform the planet and make it good to live on/in
Well that's it for now the rest depends on how long that will need and I have time. The really serious issues that I know of are supposed to happen in five years too. But I need to keep an eye on what I don't know and if what I know will happen or change, I mean I already changed things soo I need a base here too.
Hmm... should I go for Antarctica? Superman's fortress is in the North Pole right? Maybe some mountain or deep underground. Underwater is complicated, need a lot more work and not safe because of the Atlantian.
Questions, questions.
Meh let's enjoy my time with Serly now and then finish my tour around the world then I can decide. Still need to visit Gotham by the way.
"Mhmm.. you're awake" Serly woke up with a yawn and gave me a kiss while grinding her body on me.
"Yeah, I woke up minutes ago just watching you smiling while sleeping. Wonder what you are dreaming about"
She blushed a bit and hid her face on my chest licking me while at it.
"I am with you, I don't need to dream to be happy" she said sweetly and shyly while drawing some circles on my abs.

She smiled happily at that and lifted her self a bit to kiss me on my lips while her hand went down to my thighs. "How about I give you a good morning down there" like she was never shy to begin with she licked her lips and started kissing me going all the way down to my dick.
' I like how she try to act and then switch personality so fast'

A normal chapter this week, more of slice-of-life plus a bit of romance explaining what Zane talked about with the Young Justice, and what he gave them. What is Zane doing in the meantime? And how is it going with Zane's fangirl Serly?
I figured if I want to give Superboy and Kid Flash something why not give all of them so I went with that. Zane won't be going giving anyone some free power especially those who are not close to him.
The team is a bit special since they builded some kind of a relationship and he got close to them somehow especially Megan if you didn't notice.(nothing will happen between them)
I am honestly enjoying writing Serly for some reason maybe my perverted mind at play here but anyway what do you think about her or the way I am shaping her personality and love to Zane?
You probably noticed but I am going the slightly obsessed/crazy girlfriend type, trying some fun and comedy scenes, trying to make her loyal to our MC you know. It may be a harem but Zane is not the type to fall in love fast or simp and give them everything they want.(I will die before writing NTR)
Again Serly is a 'normal' human in a not so normal world so what do you think about her reaction to 'Immortality'?
