Chapter 94: Smartness Defeats Number

Gently walking over the broken glass of the restaurant's door also felt good to Max, not because of the fact that he could die if he was to die but because Void Emotion and Dualbloom must have cooled down by now. He wasn't walking into his enemies without an ace up his sleeve.

Looking at Max from the surface of one of the two tall buildings forming the alleyway,

A Wild Vampire escaped a low, menacingly shaky voice at him. He bared his fangs, elongated his claws and then he jumped to fly high up and above the buildings into the sky like a shadow, twisting his body to aid his glide in the air.

From below, Max observed him with boredom on his handsome face, seeing him swiftly falling hard onto the ground at some considerable distance in front of him.

The wild beast straightened up followed by many other Wild Vampires jumping up like shadows into the sky, in myriad like arrows, and then falling down and straightening up to face the bored Max.
