Dave sat back in his chair, feeling the weight of his recent purchase but also the excitement of having Neura, the advanced AI smartwatch, by his side. The potential of Neura went beyond just personal assistance—it could help him tap into the unknown. He had been wondering for a while if there were others out there like him. Were there other people with abilities granted by systems or something even more powerful?
"Neura," Dave called, gazing at the sleek display on his wrist.
"Yes, Dave?" the AI responded, its voice calm and composed.
"I want you to look into something for me. Can you hack into global databases and find out if there are any other people with superhuman abilities like me?"
There was a brief pause before Neura replied, "Hacking into global security databases is illegal and highly risky. However, I can perform legal data mining from public sources, anonymous forums, and information available on the deep web without breaching any laws. Would you like me to proceed in that manner?"
Dave smirked. "Yeah, that sounds perfect. Start gathering all the data you can on superhumans—find out who they are, where they're located, what powers they possess, and rank them by their abilities. Let's see how many of these people are out there, and how they stack up."
"Understood. Initiating data collection. This may take a few minutes," Neura replied, as Dave noticed lines of code flashing across the small watch screen. The AI was working its magic, pulling information from countless sources all over the world. Dave could feel his pulse quicken, anticipation building.
As the minutes passed, Neura spoke again. "I have compiled a preliminary report. It appears that there are indeed individuals with abilities beyond that of an ordinary human. However, these cases are rare and often concealed. My analysis reveals approximately 56 confirmed individuals globally who possess what could be considered superhuman abilities."
Dave leaned forward, intrigued. "Break it down by country and rank them for me."
Neura's screen flickered as it processed the data further. "Of the 56 superhuman individuals, here is the country breakdown:
- United States: 14
- Russia: 8
- China: 6
- Japan: 4
- Brazil: 3
- United Kingdom: 3
- Various other countries: 18
As for ranking, I have assigned them a rating based on the severity and scale of their powers:
- Rank S: 3 individuals
- Rank A: 8 individuals
- Rank B: 15 individuals
- Rank C: 30 individuals."
Dave's eyes widened. "Only three people in Rank S?"
"Yes, and based on the data gathered, they are exceptionally powerful, with abilities that could potentially shift the balance of power in their respective countries."
Dave rubbed his chin thoughtfully. 'So, I'm not alone. But these people…what kind of powers do they have?' He wasn't sure whether he felt comforted or unsettled by the knowledge that others like him existed. He had always assumed he was one-of-a-kind after receiving the system. Now he realized there was a much larger game at play.
"Neura, I want you to keep an eye on these individuals for me. Monitor any activity or movements that could pose a threat. I don't want to be caught off guard."
"Understood, Dave," Neura replied. "I will continuously monitor and update you with any significant changes in their status."
Dave leaned back, the reality of his situation settling in. He wasn't the only one with power, but now, armed with the knowledge Neura could provide, he was prepared to face whatever lay ahead.
Suddenly, another idea crossed his mind. "Neura, I need something else. Let's create a program—something better than what exists now, like a more advanced version of ChatGPT, but this AI should be designed to generate business ideas. It has to help me come up with the next big thing. But nothing illegal—I want to stay within the law."
"Certainly," Neura responded. "I will start by analyzing current AI models and identifying areas for improvement. The new AI I design will focus solely on generating creative, legal business ideas and strategies for you."
Within moments, Neura displayed another stream of code on the screen, algorithms forming as the AI constructed the foundation of the new program. Dave couldn't help but smile. Having an AI from the future that could create an even better AI—it was like he was hacking the system of reality itself.
"Perfect," Dave muttered. "With you on my side, Neura, we're going to change the world."
"As you wish, Dave," Neura responded with calm certainty. "Your success is my priority."
Dave felt a surge of confidence. He was just getting started, and with Neura at his side, the possibilities were limitless. He now had a clearer picture of the playing field. There were others with abilities, but none of them had what he had—an AI 1,000 years into the future, a system that could change reality, and the drive to push forward. The world had no idea what was coming.
Dave sat at his desk, eyes fixated on his new AI smartwatch. The device, sleek and impossibly futuristic, hummed to life as it processed vast amounts of data, more advanced than anything he'd ever seen. He still marveled at how this watch, worth more than any amount of money he could imagine, had fallen into his hands. But today, it offered something even more intriguing.
"Dave," the watch's voice chimed in. "I can perform highly advanced tasks, including hacking into the world's most secure government systems. Due to my advanced nature, I can do so without leaving any trace that could lead back to you. No one would ever know."
Dave blinked, his heart skipping a beat. Hacking world governments? That sounded insane. And yet, with this watch, it wasn't impossible. But the implications of that power were staggering. Did he really want to dive that deep into the shadows?
He took a deep breath and responded, "From now on, only do something like that if I ask you to. If you can guarantee that no one will ever know it was me, and no alarms will go off, then you have my permission to do anything illegal—if I request it."
The watch's response was instant. "Understood. I will await your commands."
Satisfied for now, Dave shifted his attention. The real challenge he was focused on was starting his company. With the help of the AI, they had already made impressive strides. The AI had crafted a business plan, website, and innovative product: an AI system far more advanced than anything currently available in the world. The subscription-based AI service quickly attracted attention as it outperformed every other chat-based AI system on the market.
Word spread like wildfire. Major corporations took notice, and the global tech world was abuzz. The efficiency, speed, and intelligence of Dave's AI product was revolutionary. News outlets began speculating about the mysterious company behind the service. Tech giants scrambled to figure out who was behind this groundbreaking AI.
In the boardrooms of Silicon Valley, leaders of the world's largest tech firms were in an uproar. Their best hackers were trying, and failing, to trace the AI's origins. Each attempt was swiftly blocked, the AI's defenses impenetrable. Dave's smartwatch was so far ahead of the current technology that no hacker, no matter how skilled, stood a chance.
"Dave," the watch's voice interrupted his thoughts. "Several prominent companies are trying to hack into our system. They are attempting to uncover the identity behind this new AI service. They have all failed, of course, but their efforts have been noted."
"Who's trying to hack us?" Dave asked, a mix of amusement and curiosity in his voice.
The watch displayed a list of names on its screen, including companies like MegaTech, GlobeCorp, and Titan Systems—some of the biggest names in the tech world. These giants were desperate to find out who had suddenly leaped ahead of them in AI technology.
"Additionally," the watch continued, "I've detected several offers from these companies attempting to buy your AI. The highest offer so far is $1.2 billion."
Dave chuckled. A billion-dollar offer? It was tempting, but he had no intention of selling. This was just the beginning. "Refuse all offers," he said confidently. "We're just getting started."
"Understood," the watch replied, instantly blocking any further attempts to purchase the company.
Dave sat back, his mind racing. He knew his company would shake up the tech world, but he hadn't expected it to be this fast. His AI was already a game changer, and the fact that no one could trace its origins made it even more of a mystery. As long as the smartwatch continued to block attempts to hack his systems, his secret was safe.
Suddenly, the watch spoke again. "Dave, another hacking attempt is in progress. It's coming from an unknown government agency. They're trying to trace the origins of the AI technology."
Dave frowned. He hadn't expected governments to get involved this quickly. "Block them," he said.
"Already done," the AI replied.
Dave grinned. His company was unstoppable, and with his AI smartwatch, no one could touch him. The mystery surrounding his new company would only grow, and the longer it stayed hidden, the more powerful he became. "Let them try," he muttered to himself. "No one's taking this from me."
As emails piled up with offers to buy the company, Dave leaned back, completely at ease. He had what no one else did—an untraceable, hyper-advanced AI. And now, the world would have to watch as his influence grew, and no one, not even the most powerful companies or governments, could figure out who was behind it all.
"Onward and upward," Dave whispered to himself, already planning his next move.
