Chapter 163: THE VISIT

Cordelia saw Roderick walking towards one of the corridors so she hurried to him before calling him out.

"General!" She called and he halted his steps.

"What can I do for you lady Cordelia?" Roderick Asked her.

"I want to ask you something" She replied.

"Go ahead then" Came his reply.

"What village did Magdalene come from?" She asked straightforwardly.

Roderick looked strangely at her and wondered why she was enquiring so much about Magdalene. Last time she had asked him about Magdalene parents and what they looked like and why she was adopted.

"Why do you ask milady" He said.
