"W-w-what do you mean corrupted" Magdalene said with fear clouded all over her eyes.

"It means that you might come out possessed. A being might occupy your body while the real you has been trapped. Other times, you might come out but the good side of you is gone, you are now corrupted by the bad side" Sheila explained.

Magdalene bit her lips as tears had begun to form around her eyes threatening to fall. She looked pitifully at Lucas wanting him to say something.

"Can I not go. Lord Lucas" She said.

He sighed seeing her so vulnerable. He always thought that women with tears were too troublesome. But anytime she cried, there was something about seeing tears in her eyes that made him uncomfortable. He walked towards her and squat down. Holding her soft palm, breaking all the boundaries he had wanted to create, he said to her.
