Lady Katherine had watched all this with hatred deep down her heart. She was definitely going to put Magdalene in her place one day.

A man walked towards her with a smile on his face

"Not enjoying the party much, Katherine?" He asked and she nodded with her eyes still on the dancing couple.

"She's a pretty one, it's no wonder you feel so insecure" He stated.

"I don't feel insecure." She defended.

"I see. You don't need my help after all" He said.

"Of course I do. I fear I'm gonna lose my position soon. Lord Lucas is smitten by her" She replied.

"I can't wait to have that body under me begging to be released" He said with a very scary Smile while imagining lots of things that one didn't dare think of.

"She's all yours, it depends on how you play your game" Katherine said.

"Don't underestimate me Katherine, you and I Know how many ladies like her have fallen this beautiful face and charming smile " He replied and Katherine hurriedly shook her head.
