Chapter 63: MEETING THE FIRST MEN

Amidst the dense canopy of the Elder Forest, the carriages rolled to a halt, their wheels crunching against the forest floor carpeted with fallen leaves and moss. The air was alive with the whispering melodies of the ancient trees, their towering presence casting elongated shadows across the forest floor.

In the distance, a cluster of tents emerged from the verdant embrace of the forest, their weather-worn canvas fluttering gently in the breeze. A faint flicker of light danced among the tents, drawing the eye towards a solitary figure—a man, with jet-black hair illuminated by the warm glow of a campfire.

As the man approached, his features came into sharper relief. He bore the rugged countenance of one seasoned by the rigors of forest life, his eyes keen and weathered by the trials of survival.
