• Description: A large, brown, grizzly-like creature with massive quills on its back (resembling curved spears).
• Abilities:
- Massive jaws capable of crushing bone.
- Serrated claws capable of easily tearing flesh.
- Basic level buffing magic with a focus on general healing.
- Can fire its quills from its back in a deadly explosion (also leaves the quillbeast heavily injured).

• Description: Darkened hounds that blend well within the shadows. Their howls are bone-chilling and leave one's hair standing on end in fear.
• Abilities:
- Putrid, venomous bites capable of inflicting "Green Blight."
- Incredibly agile.
• Strengths:
- Inflicts a deadly poison with their bites.
- Agile and capable of leaping high distances.
• Weaknesses: N/A

• Description: Ethereal and misty manifestations of pure aether. Color varies depending on the mana they're born from.
• Abilities:
- Invade sources carrying mana and drains all the energy from it. Grows larger in size depending on the amount absorbed.
• Strengths:
- No physical form: immune to physical attacks.
- Aether-attuned: highly resistant to all magical-based attacks aside from its opposite element.
• Weaknesses:
- Highly vulnerable to elements of magic that are its opposite (I.E red works best against blue, shadow against light, etc...).
• Notes:
- Mindless and instinctual creatures. Unknown why they do what they do.
- Likely to dwell around "aether springs" due to the high aether concentration.
- Highly attracted to sources of aether and mana such as "aether crystals."
