So I need to get this upgrade points to increase my level and killing other players is one of the way to get more upgrade points. That's why Sil told me that I would find out about it sooner.

If that's the case then the reason behind that treaty is obvious now, after all to get stronger, a player have to hunt other players. Those big families and organization seems doesn't want to lose any of their future rookies.

"There's nothing left to do here, let's move on and search for a shelter." (Jin)

~Time Skip~

10 days has passed since I got caught in this game and for the past 10 days I have been hunting a lot of beasts which in return also gave me more card drops. I also met 14 other players, of course their life ended when they meet me and I become level 6 as a result from killing them all.

I even participated in half of the battles, seeking experience to use my newly learned swordsmanship. Though I wouldn't lie that it felt a bit exhilarating whenever I fought in the front line as I always felt my blood pumps up every times I fought.

All of those 14 players were very poor and only 2 of them actually have a bronze grade card while most of the others have iron grade cards only. This made me realize once again how lucky I was to find Sil card.

And not just Sil, I still have Kirika, a borderline silver grade card that was about to become gold grade. I only found out about this fact after looking at Kirika status and Sil also stated that I was right about it.

I also asked Sil about why is her card cost only take 10 spirits while Kirika who's grade lower than her have a higher cost of 15 spirits.

Sil then explained that a card grade is not the only thing to take for measuring a card worth. A card worth is measured by it's power, defense, skill, and cost.

Even between cards of the same grade, there many that have different attack and power.

The higher a card power and defense is, the better that card worth is. While the lower a card cost is, it made more rarer.

In fact the average cost of a gold grade card was suppose to be around 50 Spirits, from that alone I could tell how rare Sil card is among the gold grade cards.

I also summoned all of my iron grade soldier cards that only cost 1 spirit as with Sil broken ability, I can summon them with no cost at all.

I plan to keep my spirit for summoning Kirika after all. I know for sure that having 1 higher grade card is much better than having 10 low grade cards.

I only 5 spirit short from summoning Kirika, and since my spirit limit got increased by 2 every time I level up, I still need to level up 3 more times which mean I need to hunt other players again.

'Well, let's the hunt begin.' (Jin)

Currently there are more than 40 iron grade soldiers under my command so I divided them into 5 teams of 8 man and order them to hunt for players.

My whole body also covered by bronze grade armors so my defense has risen by a lot. I also learn swordsmanship from Sil every time I was free so my knowledge of using sword has increased.

Though I already proficient in close quarter combat by using my own hands as the weapon, knowing how to use various types of weapon will increase my rate of survival.

"Master, to be honest I'm very happy to see you willing to work very hard like this but you have to know that an Imperian player play style usually only involve commanding and strategizing. Imperian players seldomly fight on the front line by themselves, so I want to remind you by any means to not get full of yourself while in the battlefield and rush to the frontline." (Silvanaz)

"I have been observing master behavior in all the battles master has participated in and I could tell that master is starting to feel pleasure in battle itself which is not something good for you, master." (Silvanaz)

I couldn't say anything back to her as everything she said was true. Although I find it thrilling and fun fighting in the front line, at the same time I also endangered my life.

Being lost in the pleasure of battles made my head clouded and couldn't think clearly.

"Yeah, you're right, thanks for the advice. I promise I won't be reckless anymore." (Jin)

"I'm glad that you are aware of your own shortness master, but it doesn't mean that you can being lazy now. We never know when will we have to fight alone so I will increase the training plan for you from tomorrow on." (Silvanaz)

"I'm looking forward to it then, teacher!" (Jin)

Time keep moving on since then and without realizing it, another 2 days has passed. Just within those 2 days, my soldiers had already hunted 34 players which brought me to level 9 and even only short 6 more upgrade points before leveling to level 10.

This show how effective my plan was. I only met 14 players when we moved as 1 group but now that there are 4 groups moving in different direction, the chances to find other players also increased.

I also summoned Kirika, leaving my spirit pool with only 1 spirit left. After that I still keep training with Sil while being watched by Kirika on the side line.

I already asked Kirika about why her grade was shown as Silver and Gold ans she said that it meant she was about to rise into the gold grade. It was then that I learned that a card grade can be increased by using grade up cards.

As I thought that my plan has been working smoothly, I got a notification from the system that I just lost 6 cards that were patrolling the north area. Being panicked from losing my for the first time, I ordered all the soldiers to come back to my position at once.

Fortunately there still 2 survivors from the destroyed team so I was able to know what happen there when they got back.

What happen was that their team as usual was able to found a player walking alone, and following my order, they tried to attacked her but unexpectedly she shot a giant flame toward the team which killed 6 of them while the surviving 2 soldiers ran away.

I was sad but also mad at the same time. I was sad that I lose my own cards, even if they are iron graded, they still part of my force. And I was mad for being an idiot that think everything will go as I plan.

Once again I was reminded how useless I am. It was a great plan to divide and hunt other players to level up in the shortest time, but it was also foolish of me to not thought about the plan with more detail.

The only thing I did was dividing my own soldiers into a group of 5 and tell them to hunt other players, that's all. I could have order them to check the enemy prowess first by using one card only to attack them.

If one of my soldier that can be considered as strong as a normal lead grade card can defeat them then that means the said player are weak, but if he lose then I can save my other cards and even mark the strong players.

"*Sigh* Damn it." (Jin)

I was to lost in my thoughts that I didn't realize that Kirika was standing right beside me all this time while watching my expression. Seeing that I was blaming myself, Kirika unexpectedly put her arms around my head and pull it toward her modest pair of breasts.

"Don't be to harsh on yourself, master. Real experience is the best teacher after all so learn from this mistake and do better for the future. Well, I knew that this will end up like this sooner, even Silvanaz knew it to." (Kirika)

I didn't blush for being held close to her breast, I was not some scaredy virgin boy after all. I have my own share of experience as well, but I'm still a guy after all so my little brother down there reacted without my consent.

Though I already knew why did Sil and Kirika kept quiet, I still asked her about it to hide how flustered I am from having an erection while being hugged by her. Yeah, I didn't flustered from being hugged but from having an erection in this kind of situation which somehow made me look like a horny kid.

"If you knew that this was going to happen, then why didn't you tell me?" (Jin)

When I asked her that question, to my relieve, Kirika then release me from her hold and look at me in the eye.

"You need to experience failure to grow master. Being always successful will only made you blind and arrogant. We want you to grow as a great leader, that's why we allowed this happen to you. This is the best chance we have to teach you as we are still in the rookie match." (Kirika)

*Chapter Start From Here

"So master, what are you going to do in this situation? Since you have lost 1 team consisting of 8 cards, that player should already aware that someone is currently hunting the players down. If she spread the news then it will become much harder for you to hunt more players as they high chance will make a group to increase their survival." (Silvanaz)

"There's no need to think to much about it, let's hunt her down before she can spread it. Gather up all of the soldiers Sil, we will make our move together from now on and let's make haste to find that girl. It was my mistake for taking this life risking game lightly." (Jin)

"Master, I don't support that plan of yours to chase the girl. Rather than wasting our time to search for the girl who already gone who knows where , it would be a better choice to move our hunting ground." (Silvanaz)

"I agree with her on this matter master. It's not like she saw you and you only lose a few iron cards so there's no need to overthink about it." (Kirika)

If I think about it again, they were right. I was to preoccupied by the thoughts of that player spreading rumors about me which is something dumb since she didn't even met me nor saw me.

"Alright, since we have been go north from the start, let's try to move toward east now."

So we went east and after 2 days of journey, we stopped and made a camp there. I also got more iron card soldier drops from the beasts and players that we hunt along the way.

We luckily met a group of 3 players and 4 other lone players which we took down as well and because of that my level has reached level 10 right now.

By reaching level 10, the the trading option in the shop now is open for me to use. The moment I have been waiting for now is here, I immediately open the trading option and start to look at the cards that were sold there.

The trading panel is similar to how a search engine works so I put the keyword 'Imperian' and tap the search button.

The panel then start to show many imperian cards, mostly iron cards and the highest grade that I could find was only 1 follower bronze card called 'Assassin'.

The card price was something I couldn't afford for right now and even if I can afford it, I won't buy it since it will be just a waste of GP to buy a soldier card.

I went to see the iron cards instead and since it was the lowest grade cards, the price was very cheap as there are more supply than demand.

The iron cards price average is 10 GP but right now I can find some cards that were priced 3 to 5 GP.

When I check the Lead cards, the average price was around 40 - 60 GP, about 4 times the the iron cards prices.

The players that we had hunted had around 3 to 5 cards in their arsenals and since I always looted their cards before I killed them, I have more than 200 cards from different factions right now.

About 90% of it were iron cards while the rest is lead and bronze cards. I put all those cards at the trading hub and priced them exactly at the market price.

I have 578 GP so I decided to buy some iron cards that only cost bellow 7 GP. I bought 10 cards that cost me 58 GP, together with the cards that I got from the hunted beasts, I have 60 iron soldiers now which is a very big number for a newbie player to have inside the rookie match according to Sil and Kirika.

Nothing much happen after that. We kept hunting beasts and players, get more cards, sell them at the trading hub, and gather more GP.

Of course I also didn't forget to sent my scouts to search for any kind of buildings or even a dungeon.

Since I already learn from my previous mistake, this time I didn't divided my soldiers into small team like before.

I divided my own group into 2, 1 led by Sil together with me, and the other is led by Kirika. When I summoned Kirika, I also got 11 bonus soldiers from Kirika own faction skill so in total I have more than 70 soldiers that I divide equally to both teams.

Of course the range of my group and Kirika group isn't that far as well so we can help each other team if we met a problem.

Time passed and two weeks passed just like that. With a bigger group now, we hunt an average of 100 iron beasts and 1 to 3 players each day so my GP daily income has increased to more than 100 GP a day.

I look at my status and can't help but grin as I have become many times stronger than compared to the time when I first came here.

Every time I level up, all of my attributes gained 2 stats but when I level up to level 10 I gained 4 instead. The exp to level up from level 10 also increased by tenfold which makes it harder to level up now.

I also got 3 to 4 iron card drops everyday and unsurprisingly it's always a follower cards. All the artifacts and spell cards that I have where gained from the previous shrine or robbing other players.

I never got them as a drop before so I assume that I can only get them from dungeons or rewards, or maybe the probability for beasts too drop artifacts and spell cards is very small.

With all of the card drops that I gained, I was able to increase my summoned soldiers to 100, which is something considered impossible to do for a rookie match.

There are 1.000 players in this match and by killing them, their numbers also depleted a lot so the probability to meet other players has become smaller than before.

I myself has already killed almost a tenth of the 1.000 original number of players, the players themselves also hunt each other as well so I'm not surprised if the current count of the living players has already drop by half or even more.

Anyway, today mark our fifteenth day after we move east. It was the usual day like before, we hunt beasts, I trained with Sil and try to kill an Iron beasts myself as a training, searching for other players, etc.

We continue to do our usual activity till sunset but when we start to make our camp, unexpectedly we found a player laying on the ground unconsciously.

If it were any other player, then I would kill them as usual, but this time it was different. I knew the identity of the unconscious player.

I didn't just knew her, I also have a close relationship with her, after all she was part of my family, my own little sister.

"What the hell is going on here?! Why is she here?!" (Jin)

Mirai Konoe, my own step little sister that only have two years apart from me. she's part of one of the most popular idol group along with her twin in my country and was also a beauty that her fans long for.

Although my family situation is quite complicated, at least I can say that my relation with her is quite normal, at least at the sibling level. And not just with her, I get along with my other siblings as well.

As for how complicated my family situation is, I could only say that I am the only outsider of this family of mine if we are talking about blood relation and those stuff.

My mother and Mirai mother was very close when they attend high school, and they even met each other husbands to be there as well. Both of them were called as the flowers of their school at that time as their beauty was very heartbreaking.

My mother and my father came from a normal family so after they married, they decided to only have 1 child as they don't have enough money to support another child.

As for Mirai mother and father, both of them came from a prominent family, and her father was even the heir of his family. Both of them were also a world wide celebrity.

Mirai parents got married 3 years earlier than my mother and father, and before Mirai was born along with her twin, her mother already gave birth twice to a boy and girl.

Being a close family with each other, I play a lot with Mirai older brother and sister when I was still a little kid.

Unfortunately my father died when I was 7 years old from having an accident and his death gave a very big blow to my mother heart and mind.

It was at that time that Mirai mother came in. See couldn't stand how my mother grow weak each day by working alone to put food on our table so she begged her husband to take my mother as his second wife.

After a lot of persuasion from Mirai mother, in the end my mother relented and agree to marry again. From that day, my last name also changed into 'Konoe'.

Not long after that, one day my mother become pregnant together with Mirai mother again and after 9 long months, my mother gave birth to a girl and my second mother gave birth to Mirai and her twin.

If you are wondering whether both of my moms ever pregnant again, the answer is a yes. Right now I have 1 older sister, 1 older brother, 4 little sisters and 2 little brothers.

Since my mom and me joined this family, our life has improved a lot. My mother also gained her happiness back and even get along with her 'sister'.

Although there many disagreement from the member of my step father family, in the end they accepted my mother after she gave birth to my very talented little sister.

After that, my mother also got various job and become a very famous actor which surprised me a lot when I found out.

The only one that they haven't accepted was me since I don't have any blood related to the Konoe family at all.

As I don't want to make my mom worried I never told her about the assassination, but my step father knows about it and he even protected me a lot of times from those assassins before. My step father already considered me as his son he said so he will protect me from any harm, even if it from his own family.

But even my step father has his own enemy within the Konoe household so he can't be at home all the time. That's why I decided to learn various martial arts and even joined a very dangerous dojo.

It was to protect myself from the assassins that the Konoe family sent. They consider me as a stain of the Konoe family and want to remove me.

Fortunately I have a close friend at school that turned out to be the heir of one of the most feared dark organization. When I told him my own situation, he helped me a lot, without his help, I don't think I can survive till today.

"What's wrong master, do you perhaps know this girl." (Silvanaz)

"*Sigh* She is my sister, but I don't know how can she be here, did she also accidentally picked up a card and activated it like me?"(Jin)

"I don't think so master" Kirika said while pointing her finger toward a few cards that scattered around her.

Just at a glance, I already recognize that there 5 cards scattered around her. From the outline of the card, I could even tell what grade they are, 2 bronzes, 2 silvers, and 1 gold.

I don't believe my sister luck is that high to find those cards alone. When picked them up, I realize that the cards are from the Etheria faction and they complement each other cards very well.

It was at that moment that I realized the Konoe family was already involved inn Carta Planar.

When the realization came to me, I could only stand silent as the truth shocked me a lot.

'Part of the family huh... Etheria players, well know it all make sense why all of my family members were related to the show business. Even my own mom was also one huh... In the end I'm just an outsider after all.'(Jin)

I looked up toward the sky and a hollow laugh came out from my mouth unconsciously.

"Master, is there any problem?" Silvanaz asked with a worried face seeing how disorientated I am.

"I'm fine" I replied while taking another helmet that hide my face and wore it, even though it was a grade lower than my current helmet.
