==========================================

An eerie wind blew, located near the capital of Denora. There was a massive storm outside, but the people inside were unbothered.

"Father, we have yet another report of the Holy scale going off balance." A man said, who is of rank lower than the person in front of him, as he kneeled in front of his superior.

The man of higher stature looked pleased, "Tell me the content of the three reports, priest."

The priest pulled out a small bottle and broke it, some sort of digital pop-up appeared in front of the priest. The priest started reading the three reports, as they were all in that pop-up document, "Yesterday, at the third hour after the middle, it had detected it somewhere near Suzuna city, it looks like it originated from Gyffard mansion. It was indeed confirmed by us to be a big burst of pure mana, followed by a golden beam that pierced the sky."

The priest stopped talking as he finished with the first report, he now has to wait for permission to continue, his superior nodded his head, so the priest continued.

"About thirty minutes after, we received identical reports, but this time it originated from the Royal Academy."

The priest finished his second report, awaiting any comment of his superior.

"Our Royal Academy? Code #0000 is there, isn't he?"

The man of superior position chuckled in a villainous manner. The priest looked at him in awe, wondering what words could he say next?

"Order the bishop closest to the academy to investigate and tell the others we are starting Operation Wing Cutter."

The man said, as he held a pleased smile on his face. The priest bowed,

"Will do, Father Arch-Bishop!"

The priest raised his head again as he scrolled through the document. As he found the third report, before hesitating he opened his mouth.

He put his hand in a fist shape in front of his mouth and cleared his throat,

"Again, at the Gyffard mansion, an hour later after the second report, it happened again, but this time it was much less grand."

The priest finished his duty, awaiting any comments from the Arch Bishop. It took a moment for the Arch Bishop to respond,

"..Do we have anybody from the six children available?" He asked the priest as he checked availability for the six children.

"We have Alpha and Delta available, father." The Arch Bishop looked at the priest, sighing.

"Send a notice, have them investigate whatever is happening at Gyffard's mansion, they are free to engage too if they so wish. You are dismissed."

The priest left, leaving the Arch Bishop alone, looking through the window, the storm could be seen as it raged on, the wind was howling, as the sky became filled with lightning.

—--------------

With the sky now peaceful and with a pretty sun-rise, the sun slowly peeked through the window and into our room.

I groaned.. slightly moving about in my bed, slowly waking up as I stretched my body, moaning a bit, as I slowly opened my eyes, looking to the left at me, where Syvish's bed was, she was snoring quite aggressively.

Chuckling softly as I was still tired, slowly remembering the dream I had, "huh..?" Is what I thought to myself, unsure if that was a dream or not, it probably was one. I then slowly let myself roll out of the bed, putting on my school uniform quietly to avoid waking up Syvish and then eventually heading towards the library.

Arriving at the library, I looked at the noticeably dated building that was surprisingly still in prime condition. Besides that, I can also sense a slight magic presence in here… is it a protective barrier of some sort? I put my key inside the keyhole, the key disappeared and the whole building shook, after a few seconds it stopped shaking and the door opened.

I slowly walked inside, confused as to what just happened. Looking inside, it was dark and there was no light. Holding out my hand, I generated a simple [Light] spell, to light up the room. In surprise, I walked out of the room and closed the door abruptly, not sure of what I saw.

Slowly opening the door again, I looked inside, closing and opening it again to make sure what I saw wasn't a ruse. I opened the door and walked inside, at the end of the small room was only ONE bookshelf, with four books on it, and a small table with a candle to read it on "I guess my eyes weren't playing tricks on me then..".

I sighed, moving the [Light] spell towards the books to look at their titles, I read from left book to right, "How to Bo Staff 101, The dragon that watched a strange rock fall out of the sky, Pure-mana when and how?, and lastly, battle strategies." I said outloud as those were the four books, I'll only take three since I'm not interested in fairy tales.

Hearing a noise behind me, I turned around towards the door as it opened. It was Yerisa. Yerisa entered the library, only to immediately stare at me for a moment. She then suddenly slammed the door shut.

I decided to wait until Yerisa entered again, sitting in a corner to hide. Yerisa then eventually entered again, looking around her, she was looking at an empty wall? Why? Yerisa grabbed somewhere in the air, as a book appeared in her hand. Huh?? Wait.. Could it be that this library responds to one's needs?

As time went by, it looked like the library was extremely full for her, filled with books that I couldn't clearly see the titles of. Yerisa looks like she was going to study, so I left without her noticing.

I was now headed towards the training grounds, as I arrived, a blast of hot wind struck me, causing me to guard, "It's hot..!" I thought to myself, I slightly opened my eyes, witnessing Carmen and Artiria fighting all-out, Carmen was fighting with her fists and Artiria with his sword.

Intense flames were reflecting off of Carmen's fists as she barraged Artiria with her fists, being successfully repelled by him each and every time.

Hmm.. What to do? I don't want the books to get burned..

In the corner of my eye, I noticed something shining as I looked at one of the books, it floated towards me and slowly the others started floating too, they circled around me as they gradually were imbued within me, to be more precise, within my spiritual sea.

I was still in the physical world as I looked around me, the books had disappeared.. I guess I have no choice but to try to get in there myself.. Slowly recalling the same sensation as before, I gradually felt the wind build up around me. Closing my eyes as I felt a short wave of warmth surround me, I could hear the sound of thunder faintly in the distance, and the sound of birds chirping very close to me.

I opened my eyes, confirming that I have indeed entered my spiritual sea, I looked towards the spheres in the middle as it seems the one with the fire was currently spinning around the big sphere at a faster speed than before..

Looking down as I see the books just laying there on the ground. I picked one up as it disappeared, I looked confused as I tried picking the others up gently, but they disappeared as well.

After a last look around in my spiritual sea, I decided to leave, reversing what I felt the first time.

When I opened my eyes, I immediately felt information slowly rushing in, the contents of the books rushed into me. I summoned Vel, the Bo staff which is bound to my body. While Artiria and Carmen were still busy duking it out, I crossed my arms so I could start understanding what information has just entered my head.

—------

Time passed by as it took Spher roughly an hour to comprehend the information given to her by the books, in the meantime Artiria and Carmen were resting from their intense sparring session. Ivish, Mitsu, and Judo arrived at the training field, Judo spoke up,

"You would need to continue pushing mana not only around your very muscles but in between them as well. If you master this, it will greatly benefit your physical strength and control."

Judo finished, giving Mitsu and Ivish advice. Judo slowly walked towards me, an intense aura was coming off of him, is he… testing me?

I twirled Vel around, generating shockwaves due to the current weight of the staff, my eyes shortly glowing silver, as I started concentrating the pure mana in my body I twirled around Vel harder, eventually generating a sandstorm.

Judo stood only three meters away from me, suddenly stopping twirling Vel around, pointing exactly at Judo. Judo pointed at me with his finger, looking down at me with his height while a few flames were coming off of his back, he spoke,

"You're radiating energy, Spher." After his one-liner, Judo pulled his finger and arm back, actually pulling his arm further back as he was now cocking it, preparing a punch as his fist became softly covered in a concentrated flame.

I looked on at the fist as an intense pressure could be felt by simply his arm and fist not moving, and preparing to hit and destroy whatever faces it. With sweat on my face, I pulled off a smile as I prepared a hit of my own as I strengthened my muscles as Judo said, but with pure mana and regular mana, to not only strengthen the base of my arm but to strengthen them far beyond regular means.

Judo then launched his arm at me as the flames now covered his entire arm, aiming straight at me with his punch I held Vel in a standard front, matching Judo's speed I pulled Vel down as fast and as heavy as I could.

Right before coming in contact with Judo's fist, above Vel was a small magic circle, but one that extended far out into multiple magic circles of the destruction archetype, stretching to 2 meters in length the stack of magic circles empowered the staff and gave it a dramatic boost in Velocity and weight.

The two clashed as a massive wave of dust surrounded the area, followed by multiple shockwaves there was a mass of flame burning. After the dust settled, we see Spher laying unconscious on the ground, not injured, but exhausted.

Judo looked at his hand, as there was a big mark on it from Spher's staff, not only was there a mark, most of his hand was actually broken and shattered from the inside, but this did not bother the combat veteran. Judo's amazed at Spher's insane progression speed, "..She really managed to hurt me in such a short period of time, impressive. Although her progression speed gets held back by her inexperience, it is still quite remarkable."

—--------

"Professor Aslaug. A very.. good morning."

Aslaug was greeted by the Bishop of the church closest to the Academy. Uncomfortably, Aslaug replied.

".. Good morning to you too, may I ask for the reason you've all come here?"

Aslaug asked, unsure of why the Bishop of the local church would visit here.

The Bishop had a fixed smile on his face,

"Well I have some new transfers for Class S, approved by my superiors. You wouldn't reject people from the church, would you?"

The Bishop said, annoying Aslaug slightly as he told himself in his mind, "Why now of all times.."

"I'll take care of them, the more, the merrier." Aslaug lied, he does not want to take care of anyone affiliated with the church.

The Bishop walked closer to Aslaug's ears as he whispered, "The Arch-Bishop is coming." Aslaug turned pale, sweating as he slowly backed a few steps. The Bishop snickered as he walked away, raising his left hand as he waved slightly, "Good luck." The Bishop said as he left.

—-------

"That is correct, Professor Aslaug won't be here tomorrow and the Church will supervise your field trip."

Kyra said as she explained to the class,

"Speaking of the Church, we have three new transfers coming directly from the church. Please be nice to them, okay?" Kyra asked with a smile as she then started writing on the drawing board, "How to know when to pa-" The sentence got cut short as a loud bang could be heard right outside the classroom, following after there was a loud roar.

Kyra along with the entire class rushed outside, interested and excited to see what dare to make such a ruckus outside the academy. It was a singular Wyvern, probably expelled from the pack it used to belong to. Being 6 meters tall and 10 meters long, a miniature dragon would be the right thing to call it.

It was currently standing in front of Judo, as he was the one stopping it from going any further and potentially destroying more than it already has.

Judo stood in a battle stance, waiting for it to attack. In response to his battle stance, the Wyvern used a destruction spell, combined with the element of fire to create a very potent explosive fireball, launched right at Judo.

But that didn't make Judo back down at all, he has flames of his own, Judo's entire body became covered in small flames, throwing a quick punch at the Wyvern, leaving a dent, then throwing another, then and another. This attack quickly turned into a barrage as Judo pummeled the Wyvern. But the fireball still looked like it was going to hit the academy!

Just before it hit the building, it was repelled and flew in the opposite direction, only to explode a few seconds after. Kyra landed on the ground as she put her sword in the handle again.

With the Wyvern dead, the students returned to their dorms, and teachers focused on temporary defense in case more come, except for Kyra. Kyra was busy looking for the three new students that joined by recommendation of the church, they were missing.

—-----

"..Gh.." My head moved around as I slept, I was in pain, groaning as I steadily recovered after the battle with Judo. My head feels so… light.. What's happening..?

Gradually, my vision became white, even with my eyes closed. I can hear.. people talking? Ah.. It's slowly becoming more clear, colors are visible.. I can recognize these people.. It's gradually becoming harder to.. think..

I could hear someone thinking, I could see out of someone's eyes that aren't mine, I could feel what they're feeling.. what is this.. Is this.. Veesha?!

The pure mana inside Veesha slowly bottled up as a controlled golden aura surrounded her, Veesha then pointed her index finger into the sky as the two unknown men in front of her looked in awe, "I'll be waiting, Spher!"
