Chapter 23: Destroyed Bonds
"Is that so?" Asked Damon as his voice took on a very dangerous tone.
If it was before Edwards may have been right to a degree, as before all of this Damon was sure if he beat on Edward a bit Rosalie wouldn't mind but if he had caused permanent damage to him she might have been upset but now, he was sure that had long passed with What Edward had just done.
Revealing his secret to Bella might not seem like a big deal at first, but looking at what it could cause and Damon and Rosalie didn't even know the girl he had just put Damon in danger, and even if he had not done it on purpose it has made Rosalie very angry, along with the fact that they seem ready to go to war for Edward and couldn't even give Damon a proper chance has made her connection with her family even more distant.
Still not realizing the situation he has found himself in, Edward continued to speak.
"Of course it is, we have been a family for many years she wouldn't abandon us for you," said Edward as Every word he spoke angered Rosalie as Damon felt her change in emotion through their bond.
CRACK!
CRACK!
And as she got angrier Damon's grip started to get tighter around Edward's neck.
"Damon please, he made a mistake forgive and forget." shout Carlisle
"Damon, she won't say anything to anyone we will make sure of that." Esme pleads with Damon
"Please Damon, it was an honest mistake." Pleaded the rest of the Cullens.
But Damon ignored their pleads as his nails on his other hand began to lengthen and make their way towards Edward's neck, as they dripped a black liquid, all of the Cullens could feel their bodies freeze up in fear as Damon's nails dripped with his venom.
Seeing the end of Edward's life approaching, and Damon not responding to their pleads they turn to their last hope Rosalie.
"Rosalie, are you really going to stand there and watch him kill Edward?" asks Carlise as he looked at her in the eyes
"Why shouldn't I? he put Damon in danger and by extension, he put me in danger, and most importantly he put our happiness in danger," said Rosalie as she stared right back at him without any fluctuation in her emotions.
"What have you become? Rosalie, you were always cold but you never would have let this happen to someone you care for, when did you become this cruel? asked jasper as he had felt no change in her emotions when she answered.
"I have never become cruel, I am just doing what anyone would do to protect the person that they love, and would do anything for me," answered Rosalie.
As she answered they could not say anything and just stared at her, until they heard Edward shout.
"Stop already, Rosalie say something!!!" shouted Edward.
Rosalie continued to ignore the pleads as she kept her eyes on her family ready to stop any of them that were stupid enough to approach when suddenly a voice invades her ears.
"Rosalie, please even if you don't feel anything for us now, remember you used to at one point and throughout the years this family has done a lot for you, Carlisle turned you making you able to get your revenge on those who wronged you, we treated you as a member of the family for all these years providing you with a place to be yourself and people to spend your new life with, and most importantly if Carlisle hadn't turned you you would have died and never met Damon the love of your life, so please for everything we have been through, I am not saying he does not deserve some punishment all I'm saying is at least tell Damon not to kill him, I beg you," says Alice as her statement was finally able to shake Rosalie's emotions.
Hearing what Alice said Rosalie had to admit everything she said was right and she did own them for the stuff they did for her, she finally caved.
"Fine but this will be the first and the last time I stop him," said Rosalie
Rosalie spoke to Damon just as his nails were about to enter Edward's neck.
"Damon, please don't kill him."
"I won't love, but some permanent damage should be alright as long as he doesn't die right?" ask Damon
And all he got in response was
"Yes," answered Rosalie
As if expecting this response he retracted his ails as the speed off with Edward in his grasp, leaving the rest of the Cullen family alone as Rosalie also sped off to Damon's house as she was unable to at them any longer, and this marked the end of the bond between her and the rest of the Cullens.
In the forest a little away from the Cullens house, Damon appeared with Edward.
BOOM!!
Damon threw him onto the ground as he appeared standing over him.
"Oh, how long have I waited to do this to you, so many chances I gave you but it looks like your luck has run out," said Damon as he smiled at him.
"Please I am sorry, this won't happen again," says Edward.
"Enough talk, I'd rather hear you scream," says Damon
Damon waste no time as he bends down and grabs hold of Edwards righthand as he pulls it right out of its socket and off of Edwards body.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" his pain-filled scream filled the forest, as he rolls around on the ground before.
BAM!!!
Damon's foot slams down onto Edward's chest stopping him from moving.
"Now now don't overreact it's only an arm, I'll give that reaction a three out of ten you need to do better," says Damon as he playfully swings Edward's arm around.
This continued as Damon kept pulling off different body parts of Edward as he continued to rate each reaction while waiting for them to recover.
Now Damon could be seen standing over Edward as he looked completely fine, having all his body parts, the only problem being that he was naked.
Damon stood there with one of his claws extended dripping venom.
"now for your punishment, which boy part can you live without, is it this or maybe this or even this," says Damonas he moves his claw from Edward's leg to his eye then to his P*nis.
Edwards didn't even have the strength to respond as he just lay there
SWISH!!!
Damon's claw finally moved as he cut off Edward's right arm, and he will lose it forever as Damon's venom will stop it from healing.
Once again Edward lay there not even a sound escaped his lips, but Damon's expression changed to one of dissatisfaction.
Feeling this isn't enough Damon mobilized his aura and forcefully pushed it towards Edward's body as it forcefully entered his body corrupting his body, before stopping before pushing too much this will continue to weaken Edwards as his aura will try to fight off Damon's and eventually it will win as Damon didn't use enough aura to kill him, but to weaken him for at least a month and without a hand permanently and even after expelling Damons aura Edward will never be able to recover his full strength, leaving him weaker than any vampire while being in constant pain as his aura will turn chaotic.
