Nyx's arm dropped from her head, and her lips parted in shock. She scoffed, then laughed humourlessly, looking at Marcus like what he said was a joke. But after reading his facial expression, her lips snapped together, and silence ensured as her mind tried to wrap around what he said. She didn't know how to feel sad, angry, betrayed? This feeling was worse than finding out Marcus was still alive.
Why? Because she phoned her phone almost monthly, still grieving at her loss.

Also we will finally find out what happened to Marcus in the next chapter. I can never tell how much I will write to each chapter by the way.
