What comes to mind when I ask about your favorite game?

You got it?

Now think of what makes that game special to you. It's characters, it's setting, or it's unique traits. Just take a moment to remember it all.

Would you make that game your reality?

For me, I would never say no. Everything in reality is just a worse version of a game after all. So why should I keep playing this shitty game?

Sanctum.

A game that was supposed to be the solution to all of my problems. A full dive VRMMORPG with my favorite fantasy world.

Now do you remember how I said, "was"?

I got lucky. Or at least some people would consider me to be. I unlocked one of the first and strongest legendary classes in the game. A sorcerer with the ability to create anything.

What's wrong with that you may be asking?

Well... why don't you just find out?

Author's Notes:

-The mc isn't big on talking so a lot of the story is narrated by his inner dialogue. A huge inspiration on my writing format is, 'Kumo desu ga nani ka?' I'm not as great a writer as Okina Baba, but I'll give it my all!

-As this is my first work, I'm always open to error comments and my writing will hopefully improve as the story goes on.

-Also! I plan to have the main character grow as the story goes on. He may seem like a selfish asshole, but hopefully everyone can adjust to him as the story progresses and he grows as a person.
