Raizel nodded. He knew the level of Lyle's soul and he also knew the danger it was but.."Can you not go?"
Lyle glanced at him with widened eyes, thought for a second and then, "Are you acting coquettish? Is it because you would miss me?"
Raizel gritted his teeth, it was getting increasingly hard to have a conversation with Lyle, "You!" He took a deep breath, "You said it yourself, the tomb would be very dangerous. I am not underestimating you, I believe in your strength but Accidents happen."
This was the main reason Raizel did not want Lyle to go.
Facing Lyle whose eyes were filled with disguised love and sincerity, it made Raizel's heart tremble and he wished that he could return that same sincerity to Lyle. But he couldn't yet, no with all the shackles holding him down.
Raizel knew he was not knowledgeable in matters of love but Nathan had already pointed the way for him, he did not need much to figure the rest out.
Nathan reminds me of that annoying sibling that you wish isn't related to you but still wish that he is?
Does he remind you of anyone in particular?
