Ever since Alisa told Loki of her theory that Kira was the one who pushed him into the road and thus hitting a bus, Loki, of course, tried to investigate the truth of the matter. It would've been easier if the memory of that night would return to him, but unlike all the other memories, everything related to that night could not be accessed at the moment, so he needed to do things in a different way.
