"I came up here to spend some time with your father to get to know him better, and he offered to forge me a new sword!" Lesha said and then kissed my cheek.

"And I asked her if she wanted to help! Ha! Guess what? She wanted to! A girl, and not even one of my own four children! Could you imagine that?!" My father dramatized, and I rolled my eyes but then let out a horrible squawking noise.

Lesha had started to attack my side, and I almost burned Platelets for protection from the witch. 

"Don't roll your eyes at your father! I can't believe you five! I would have killed for my father to have asked me to spend time with him or offer me training!" Lesha said with a serious face, and I held my eyes fiercely tight in my skull.
