Confused by the noise and light, a baby started crying.
...8 years later...
A young boy with light brown hair and sort of empty brown eyes was playing in the field behind an orphanage. He had an imaginary friend with him. He named her Ele.
Ele was a shy girl. Her whole body was blacked out with only her facial features being highlighted in a golden color and her blue hair. Where her clothes would be, there was a yellow outline. The shape of the outline indicated that she was wearing a raincoat.
She was holding his hand as she guided him to a point near the forest far out from the orphanage. Erick complied with her as he had nothing else to do.
Erick was lead to a stop. The girl then pointed at a flower on the ground.
Erick squat down behind the flower.
"What now?" He questioned her.
Ele kept pointing at the flower. Erick took another look at it. It was gold and orange, had five petals, and was the only flower like itself in it's area.
Erick then heard a sound he thought would never happen.
"Analyze." Ele spoke.
In shock that his imaginary friend could speak, he immediately looked up to see her. Instead of his eyes finding a humanoid girl, he saw a black, blue, and gold panel floating in mid air.

He knew what this was. It was something he heard from other people as well as saw in history books from time to time. It's called a "system". 'But why do I have one?' He thought. Normally you would get one when you turn 18 yet his came a little too early.
'More importantly, where is Ele?'
'Maybe shes playing hide and seek!' He hoped.
He looked around but couldn't seem to find her anywhere. It made him worried. He had Ele in his life since he was still sleeping in a cradle so naturally he would care when she just so suddenly disappeared.
It was getting dark now so he decided to go back to the orphanage. Maybe after a good rest she would appear again.
