Chapter 13: Doughnut Day

What's the best way to start the morning? Not the exercise nonsense that all those health gurus always talk about, nor the veggies and fruits that are supposed to make you as healthy as an ox. I personally think it's not a good dose of prayers and offerings to the above. And maybe it's not even the morning mantra of staving away the constant existential crisis and gnawing disillusionment that threatens to eat away at the human spirit. No, none of these is the real secret to starting the day. 

The real secret is doughnuts. 

Oh doughnuts! golden brown, glazed in sugar, fluffy and sweet doughnuts! Hot from the oven, steaming from the box doughnuts. Hole-ly doughnuts, powdered with sweet sugar.
