Chapter 127: Keeping It On The Down-Low, If Not Trying To

A ride home and hours later, the four were back at the palace. 

As the sun rose, the four awoke with completely different starts to their days. 

Whilst Lily and Connor had a great start, Jemma had a different one. 

James awoke to the sound of his girlfriend puking in the bathroom. 

Now experiencing morning sickness, a known symptom of pregnancy during its first week, Emma looked exhausted, her hair tied up as she was perched above the toilet bowl. 

'I follow the rules diligently and I get this as payment,' Emma grumbled as she cleaned herself up.

Minutes later, she exited the bathroom as James asked worriedly, "You alright, darling?"

Emma scoffed.

"Hours of puking later, safe to say I'm alright," Emma answered, muttering the next part to herself.

'For now.'

She plopped onto her bed, fatigued.

"I don't feel like going out," she admitted.

"Whatever you say," James said as he took his place beside her.
