Chapter 75: My Prince Charming

The day of the funeral was one of the most terrible days of Emma's life, to put it lightly. 

She and James were in one of the royal limos used to drive to the burial, where the funeral would be held. 

James held Emma's hand, trying to be there for her, especially at this difficult time. She was vulnerable, and that was not something a bunch of royals should be able to see. It was lucky there was not that huge a crowd there.

Emma closed her eyes at the second half of the drive to the burial state, muttering to himself motivational and encouraging words that were inaudible for James to hear. 

Meanwhile, he himself was deep in thought. 

It wasn't about the funeral; it was about something else he found just as important.

He kept it to himself since today wasn't the right day to do it, but he kept replaying that same scene in his head, which was slowly driving him crazy by the second that passed by.
