We would take it as a manual of: "... from pursuing his dreams, he decided to stop being a perfectionist." How many today start something and then leave it? Instead of accelerating all the time to stop short, it is better to go slow. Are they with you? ... they will thank you. The book reminds us that with such perfection, many mistakes have been overcome, but never all.?

I really really enjoyed reading each character's thoughts and actions, they're all interesting somehow and their interactions felt genuine, so kudos to the author for that! :D Also, I love the details like the part about wines, I learned a lot of new things lol thenk Great work, author! :D

The story line is great, characters and the events are well written. The details of the story are outstanding. You should have a look to that novel if you like romance genre.
This story is a great read with a great plot ahead. The narratives and conversations between the characters are well-written. I enjoy the interactions between Jo and Matthew. Greatly recommended especially to those who seek refreshing romance stories. This is definitely a great add to my collections. Great work author! I look forward for more updates.

This is a nice story with great pacing and an interesting plot, where a bet is taken on to see whether two people will find love and happiness in a year, and if they don't, they will end up being together. This makes way for an exciting anticipation!
I've read books like this, I even write a book like this, but this is definitely one of the better ones. I love the pace of how the story is going and I was kinda of sad when I reached the last chap. Can't wait for more! keep it up!!!!

The prolouge is just a little short, but it still does an effective job of setting up the world and making you wonder what will be next. Then the first chapter begins you get even more hooked, so readers give this story a read! A fee grammatical issues here and there but overall, nice job author!
Usually romance stories aren't my cup of tea, but I am actually really digging this one. It's not melodramatic and is littered throughout with some great humor which had me chuckling out loud. The dialogue is also on point. Keep up the great work!
I don't usually read stories of this genre but this one is quite to my liking. The slow pace of the story feels relaxing and the interactions between characters feel smooth. There are only a few grammar mistakes but it doesn't interrupt the flow much and has more potential to improve. Overall, the story is fun to read and I hope to see more of it!

I always give a shot for books such as this. eventhough the genre isn't my cup of tea on a reading basis. However I still try to look at it as a book regardless of the themes, focusing on its execution and writing style. It's a decent read from the early chapters, although the more I read the it I'm seeing somewhat fillers rather than some form of moving the plot forward. One of my biggest criticisms is that there's a lot of telling, and I think certain scenes or descriptions could have been shown to us to paint a clear picture. I know this is a contemporary romance, taking place in the real world and all, but it would be great to see more descriptions of the setting, a city that the author is familiar with, or the author makes it up from scratch, who knows. In the end I appreciate the author's attempt for writing this. At most the language is easy to follow and I can see the effort that was put into this book. Keep on writing, Author. This review was written from my personal reading of your novel, and I would encourage contemporary romance fans to give this one a go.

First of all, let me just say that you have done an amazing job even though English is not your native language, it takes a lot of hard work and determination to write the way you have. I'm not really so much into this genre but what caught my attention was your excellent description. This story really draws in the reader from the very first chapter and I assure you that you will be curious to read further. Great job 👍
Honest Review: I'm not one for romance novels, but this one is genuinely intriguing. The writing is very nice, which is refreshing when you look at how many novels there are with bad grammar on this site. In the beginning the dialogue leaves a bit to be desired, but the author steadily builds the characters. Overall, it is a very promising book.
to be honest i have grown a tad bit dull on romances since many stories died because of it, but this is actually pretty darn good the start got me a good laugh.
You know what you want to write, but the issue is grammar and incomplete sentences. I think you publish without editing them? Write and post? That's totally fine, but sometimes reading your story out loud helps with editing. If it doesn't roll off the tongue smoothly, then change it. Besides that, I think you're good. The idea and the thought are there for the readers to recreate and reimagine. Just keep writing and you'll improve. I was like you when I started since English wasn't my native language. I like this story very much! The characters and the plot itself. Very interesting indeed. Their bonds and friendship explained a lot. The flow is smooth, understandable, though there are grammatical errors. But author can easily fix it anytime. The plot is very intriguing. Lastly, I'm sorry that it took me a long time to review this book Jo. Though it was just in my library and it deserves to stay. I'll be following this book. Please keep it up.👏👏👏

Nice story. The concept was intriguing. The title itself is very catchy. I think overall, it has potential. Maybe, polish the synopsis to make it more appealing. The characters and the plots were well described. I would say that this is a good book to read.

I like how the plot line of the novel. From the first few paragraphs the reader was able to see the promise of the promise and what is expected in the rest of the novel. Not many writers do that here. So, I'm impressed. Great story.

Well, it's unique to say the least. I was kind of confused in the beginning about the prologue but I understood it as I continued reading. Kind of a cool romance novel with certain differences compared to other romance novels. Keep up the good work.
