I havnt read it due to 1 reason The terrible synopsis A synopsis is meant to give the reader insight on what the novel is meant to be about, this doesn't! A synopsis is to give the reader an idea of personality of the mc, this doesn't! A synopsis is meant to give the reader an idea of the world that the mc is in, this doesn't! A synopsis is meant to be the first form of contact for the writer to connect with the reader, to be able for them to relate to the characters within, this doesn't!!!
First things first...this is a great book and It's a pity that the book has gotten so many petty, non-related bad reviews because it def should be higher on everyone's list. The story follows our main character (A vampire) along with his Werewolf and Banshee siblings and tells the story of their struggle to carve out a peaceful home for themselves. Along the way it details their interactions with human and non-human entities in their small out of the way town all the while learning more about their inner demons. As it progresses we then start to see how fate and their actions have a ripple effect on not just the town but the wider forces who are trying to do the same in their own corners of the world. There's action, mystery, differing factions/ideologies and The characters are very relatable/human like... sometimes questioning themselves, love, loyalty, the worth of it all and their end goals. This is a bit like the series Grimm but more in depth and I'm excited to see where it goes. Hopefully the translator agrees as well.

This great story doesn't deserve this low rating that it is currently haveing.I don't understand why people overrate some trash or better said predictible to the coma stories and disregard the books that actually bring a new light to our reading.

really good story, very interesting and original. this isn't your common and repetitive plot. the story begins quite slowly, so you should read some 10 chapters before deciding whether to continue or not. this novel is well translated, you don't need to adjust the grammar in your mind while reading.
