Chapter 125: Chapter 125: [Spoiler]

As Cementoss continued to warp the water like cement, a person came walking out of the building nonchalantly while smoking a cigar.

"This is what happens when we're just waiting for the chosen Shigaraki or whoever. I sat we get this started. It's time...for the Liberation Revolution!"

"Don't let anyone escape!! They're well trained and ready to give their lives to the cause!" While the heroes and villains started running towards each other, Shido's loud voice was heard throughout the area, "If any of them get out, they could keep terrorizing other places!! In order to protect ...we must attack!!"

The man with the cigar wasn't fazed by the large number of people rushing towards them and calmly took out a taser and started tasing himself with the high volts of electricity.

"Your numbers don't matter. I'll crank up my Amplivolt's current and unleash it at full power!"

A massive amount of electricity could be seen surrounding the man as he started charging up a super attack as he spoke, "It reigns supreme! Supreme Discharge Thundernet!!"

The man unleashed a huge electricity voltage that would have killed all the heroes on the front lines.

However, nothing goes to plan in life. His lightning attack seemed to have a life on its own as it ignored all heroes and converged itself onto one finger.

"There ya go - one big commander guy totally neutralized!" Denki was at the center while lifting one arm up in the sky, making himself like an electrical conductor rod to attract all the electricity.

His hair danced wildly amid the crackling electricity as he smirked wildly, "Now let's mop the others real quick...so the guys we left behind don't need to worry!"

"Stellar work, charge!" Cementoss cheered as he remained on the ground. He couldn't move as he was still trying to control the entire building's cement.

Just as that guy was about to continue producing more electricity, Shido froze him instantly. He looked at Denki at the back, who was about to turn into a stupid boy and let out a small smile.

The freeze didn't just stop at the man. The ice continued spreading to all the villains as they suddenly couldn't move. Paired up with Midnight's sleeping gas and Kamui's super move, all the villains were frozen and asleep while Kamui ensured that all of them would continue being trapped even after the effects have all been nullified.

The heroes continued making their way to the villains. The students were doing great work in immobilizing the opponents, and Shido acknowledged that they were doing better than some pro heroes.

Seeing that everything was going well and no one had much difficulty, Shido decided to roam around the mansion to find more 'interesting' targets.

Sinking into his shadows and appearing at the top of a building, he could see the entire battlefield. He took note of those who were potentially troublesome to deal with, and if the heroes couldn't deal with it, he would then fire an arrow of wind using Raphael.

Suddenly, he turned his head towards a tower and frowned a little. He couldn't see or hear anything unusual coming from it, but his guts told him that something would happen there.

However, just before he could even start flying there, a sudden; burst of blue flames appeared from it, destroying a part of that tower.

Not hesitating any longer, he immediately flew towards it while wondering who was currently fighting over there since every hero present was busy fighting the hordes of the liberation army members.

The moment he appeared inside the building, he saw the familiar hero with charred and burnt wings.

"Hawks!" Shido worriedly yelled out. He went close to him and checked that he wasn't in much danger and that only his wings were burnt.

"Phantom? You're here so fast!" Hawks was surprised, "I didn't even expect you to arrive that fast."

"Well, it's only to be expected from the only person to ever be 'faster' than you~," Shido replied, to which Hawks only gave a wry smile.

"Phew...now that you're here, I don't have to worry anymore. I can't deal with that flame guy. Help me out, will ya?"

But before Shido could even reply, a massive blast of flame appeared in front of Shido, aiming to kill all three of them.

Reacting immediately, Shido erected an ice wall that blocked the majority of the flames, leaving only wisps and licks of flame behind, along with black smoke.

"You again...You're so goddamn annoying." Dabi snarled as he prepared his blue flames on his hands.

Shido looked at the injured Twice and noticed that Hawks' eyes were filled with determination to...kill.

Ignoring the guy with blue flames, Shido asked Hawks, "Are you sure you want to do it? You seem reluctant to do it."

Shido never mentioned what 'it' referred to, but it was clear as day that both knew what he was indicating.

"Honestly? No..." Hawks sighed a little, "But I must do it if he still refuses to start a fresh life."

"Never! You betrayed my trust! What is a hero!? You guys are no heroes!" Twice vehemently denied and reacted aggressively.

"Well, I can kill him for you if you do feel sentimental..." Shido suggested while manipulating the winds so that the ball of blue flames thrown towards them would be reflected back to the initiator.

Hawks shook his head and refused, "I'll do it myself. It's the least I can do, as his friend that had gone down the wrong path."

The moment he spoke, Twice managed to escape from his bindings and started limping away quickly.

"Burn!!! I'm good!!"

"I said, don't move." While Hawks busied himself with Twice's capture once more, Shido turned to face the enemy for the second time now.

"Dabi, Dabi, Dabi..." Shido shook his head as he leaped forward to the said man and started creating ice weapons to deal with him.

"I already let you go the last time in hopes that you would regret your decision, but perhaps I should have never let you go at all."

Dabi didn't reply and only released even more blue flames. Shido realized that it wasn't aimed at him but at the duo behind him, or more specifically, at Hawks, who was already injured by the previous blast.

"Oh no, you don't."

Shido muttered as an ice wall separated the four into two different rooms, one with Hawks and Twice, and Shido and Dabi were in another.

"Now that you would have a harder time reaching them," Shido said as he dashed forward to compete in melee range, "Not that I would let you."

"Camael!"

A flaming halberd appeared in his hand, and he immediately slashed diagonally, aiming for his left shoulder.

Dabi managed to react, barely dodging the actual swing.

However, the flames from the halberd managed to lick his shirt, burning it.

Dabi didn't seem fazed by his shirt burning and just took it off calmy, revealing his gnarled, wrinkled, purple skin that covered his entire body.

Dabi noticed that Shido paused in his actions and raised an eyebrow, "Why? Never seen a charred body before?"

"Not really. I usually devour people before they burn or freeze to death." Shido calmly replied as he prepared his next attack, "Besides, once it gets into my stomach, it doesn't matter if you're the ugliest person on the planet or the most attractive. They all end up becoming 'time' in the end."

He immediately dashed forward once more and aimed for his nimble legs, this time after saying. Dabi dodged and placed his hands in front of him, retaliating with a massive wave of blue flames, but Shido immediately changed his target and swung his halberd upwards.

Shido had initially aimed for his forearms, but Dabi noticed it and immediately retracted them just a bit too late.

The flaming halberd met its unintended targets and slashed right through them cleanly.

"Argh!!"

Dabi roared in pain as two wrists fell to the cracked floor with a 'thud' sound.

As much as Shido wanted to have a little chat, he chose not to and immediately continued his onslaught.

"Shido! Be careful!!"

Yoshinon's voice suddenly rang out, and before he could even create an ice wall, Yoshinon had already done it for him.

Fwoosh!

The burning blue flames touched the freezing cold ice, and the impact resulted in a massive explosion.

Even with Shido's strength, he couldn't remain on his feet as he was sent flying backward from the blast. Shido was only stunned for less than a second and immediately manipulated the wind so that it would cushion his impact.

In less than ten meters, his body gradually stopped, and he floated in mid-air while waiting for the mist and dust to clear.

Actually, he didn't wait for the mist to clear at all. He created a tornado in the middle of the fog, causing Dabi, who had just flown backward fifteen meters, only to fly forward and into the tornado.

"Aaaahhhh!"

Dabi screamed as his entire body ignited with flames. His quirk allowed him to generate blue flames, which were hotter than normal flames. However, it doesn't mean that his body could withstand the impact and heat of it.

The gnarled, wrinkled, purple skin was caused by himself overexerting his quirk.

Like it did with Endeavor, the tornado soon turned into a blue fire tornado, with Dabi in the center.

"Hmm..." Shido wondered what burning himself would achieve before widening his eyes.

All those duo combos he did with Endeavor, he hasn't realized that the flame tornado was a mixture of two quirks that required cooperation. Shido usually had control of the tornado as Endeavor allowed him to do so, but in reality, both parties had equal control of the fire tornado if their firepower was equal.

Endeavor could have chosen to wrestle away the flaming tornado's control by increasing the flame intensity if he wished to do so, but he didn't.

On the other hand, Dabi chose to increase the fire output to the maximum he could to take control of the blue fire tornado.

Just as Dabi felt that he had succeeded, he smiled madly and directed the tornado towards Shido.

"Shido!" Yoshinon's worried voice rang out again, but Shido wasn't fazed by that tornado.

Just before the fire tornado could actually touch Shido, it suddenly paused, as though there was an invisible wall preventing it from reaching its prey.

"Huh?"

"If you think you can wrestle the control of my tornado away from me, that's where you're wrong." Shido smiled as his index finger waved around, and the tornado followed the finger's movement, "You see, the only way you can take control of this tornado is if the power of your fire surpasses my wind power. However!"

"Your fire comes from your quirk, which, in the end, is still just part f a human body." Shido grinned widely, "On the other hand, I gain my power from the surrounding air - as long as air moves, I can control it. That means, as long as air exists, there would be no flame user who can direct my flaming tornado. But then again, if there's no air, there wouldn't be any flames either."

"Y-You!"

"Plus, I don't even have to do anything now. It's not like you can absorb back the flames you produce." Shido didn't care what Dabi had to say and just cut him off, "All I have to do is maintain the tornado so that it would continue burning you to death even without any other external factors."

Dabi had already stopped producing any more blue flames when he got control of the tornado, but the heat produced was already relatively high even then.

And now, coupled with the wind help intensifying the flames, the heat soared to even higher temperatures, essentially cooking Dabi, who was at the center.

The eye, also known as the tornado center, would usually be calm and free of wind. But in this case, what was killing Dabi wasn't the intense wind pressure; but the fierce heat.

"As much as I would like to eat you up, I doubt your remaining lifespan would do me any good. Your flames have already begun killing your body from the inside. Each time you overuse your flames, your body slowly degrades as well." Shido sighed in pity as he looked on at the screaming Dabi.

Dabi didn't want to burn to death while standing idly, so he tried getting out of the tornado, only to meet against the sharp and shredding wind pressure that produced several cuts on his gnarled, wrinkled, purple skin.

Seeing Dabi being burned in his own flames, Shido felt no pity. Unlike Twice, who was lonely and only wanted some friends but was put on the wrong path by the wrong people, Dabi genuinely wished to embody the values of Stain.

Not saying that Stain's ideals were wrong, but it really wasn't the right way to go about it.

But Shido couldn't say anything otherwise; he would be a hypocrite if he did so.

In the end, only one law remains faithful.

The law of the jungle; the strong thrive while the weak die.

"Goodbye, Dabi, no, Touya Todoroki. I pray that you would be reincarnated in a better life than this."

Walking away, Shido let the last of Touya burn to crisp.

The screams and cries of Touya gradually quietened down, and soon, nothing was left behind except a burnt, ruined room.
