Chapter 15: What's With This Disappointment....
As they reached the mansion door , the chief manservant came out with fast step to attain them. "Welcome back Sir... Madam...", he said. Ariena politely greeted him back with a sweet smile and nod and walked away from them in quick step without turning back to look at Andrew.
She was feeling frustrated, angry and hurt by his words. She doesn't want to create a scene in front of the maids so she thought it would be better that if they didn't interact with each other as both of them were not in right mood to talk. She fasten her step inside the house to avoid any further woes to add in her life.
Andrew was burning in his anger and was exasperated by the way she behaved today. He didn't pay any attention to the butler greetings and pass the car keys to him and walked away without saying anything.
He entered the grand hall which was decorated with nothing but luxury according to his taste and comfort. Each and everything there was, it speaks off the status of the owner . From Mohawk's carpet which covered the entire sitting area to the ten storied long golden color Italian chandelier hanging in the middle of the hall, from the large U-shaped B&B Italia white leather couch, to the sophisticated design modern bar....You touch anything and it'll be tagged with a heavy price. One look at hall and you can imagine the wealth Johnston's possess.
Andrew crossed the couch and was about to step on the golden railing imperial staircase from the right side, as Ariena was a few step ahead on the left side, but stopped himself in mid of taking further steps. He turned to look at the butler to give him some instructions, "Ramy..." he called him.
"Yes sir,how can I help you?.."asked Ramy. Andrew said his words plainly, "I'll be going out for five days tommorow morning, prepare the necessary things...." he paused and started again, "Please pack two to three attire suitable for banquet, and also keep the jewelry box that I've bought form Venice..."
"Okay Sir, I'll prepare everything right away... anything else Sir...", Ramy inquired again.
"No, you can go and rest for the day..." he said and turned around to move upstairs.
"Thank you sir, good night.." Ramy answer with politeness to which Andrew only hummed in reply.
Ariena who was also there halted in her track when she listen their conversation. She turned to look at Andrew, who was climbing stairs one by one, she expected from him to say something to her.
When Andrew reached at same number of stairs where she was standing he just glanced at her for a brief of moment with sadness in his eyes and then he climbed up without uttering a single word.
Ariena was startled to see so much disappointment in his eyes. She was blank and didn't know what to say or do. She was starring at the direction in which he had left, without moving forward.
Ramy was quick to understand the tension between the couple by looking at the situation. It was the first time they behaved so distant. He really felt bad for Ariena when he saw that she was still standing on same spot without moving a step further and was looking in the direction where his master had left. He wanted to vanished from there as fast as he can but can't do so. 'Sometimes, it's really hard to do what you want to do when it comes to serve your master. Poor girl..' he thought to himself self and said softly, "Madam.... Can I help you with something...."
When she heard Ramy voice addressing to her, she came back to her senses, it felt like eternity has passed for her. She turned to gave a smile to butler and said, "No nothing Ramy, have some rest... good night.." After that she left in haste without waiting for his response, as she knows that she wouldn't be able to control her tears any more.
Ramy let out a sigh understanding her state and proceed to complete the instructions given by Andrew as fast as he could, so that he could also get some sleep tonight.

Andrew was standing near the large window in his study room, taking puff from his cigarettes from time to time, with one hand in his pant pocket. He was starring at the bright shinning moon, while processing all that had happened today in his brain.
He was confused with his own outburst in the car. He was trying hard to reasoned out that what he did has nothing to do with his feeling towards her. Yes he likes her but not in a romantic way, instead as a friend, as a well-wisher, as a house partner. They have a very clear relationship with each other in which each one is getting what they want from this marriage, no one is bound to love the other.
Then why is he feeling like being cheated...?
Why did it feel like someone has held on his breath when she said that Evan is an important part of her life.....?
Why does it matter to him when she is with that man.....?
Why is he even thinking about all this things right now.....?
"Aaggh...." he yelped in frustration.

Ariena has changed into her sleep wears and was half lying on the bed with her head supporting the headrest. She was profoundly analyzing his behaviors just now and her life.
For her whole life she had never seen so much dissatisfaction for herself in anyone eyes till that moment, when Andrew glanced at her on the stairs. It hurts her and the pain was unbearable to her. She had always tried to be what other expect from her all life.
When she was child she lost her mother at a young age, that time she had to hold on her emotions and had to act strong. Even when his father married again, she had accepted the woman and her children as her own siblings without making any fuss. She followed the instructions of her step mom and studied hard to make her father proud of her even when she was not willing to pursue that line.
She was even forced to let go all her rights to the inheritance and get married to Andrew at such an early, though she benefited from it....
Everyone always told her that they are doing for her best but ever do they asked that does she feel the same.... No, Never.
Even this marriage been an arrange cum contract marriage, she always acted according to rules of his family, she tried her best to be useful to him and to his business. But why ...Why he make it appears like she is a culprit, she has cheated on him, she had done some treachery...?
Why so much disappointment ????
