Chapter 12: Dumbest Person....
They were move away from the dance floor, when Ariena sighted Evan standing near the large floor to roof glass windows near the hall door all alone with a glass of drink in his hand. She felt that he is left out in this big party as it's not long enough that he had returned from abroad and he don't know most of the people here.
Without thinking for a split second she started to move in his direction with a disheartened look as she felt sorry for Evan.
When Andrew noticed her slipping away her hands from his arms, he turned to check what's wrong with her,is she not feeling good. Seeing her walking with determination and concerning looks on her face he felt confused, what is she's up to? His mood dampened as soon as he noticed she is moving towards the same man in blue tuxedo.
He fasten his steps and catch her by her wrist while questioning her, "Where are you going.. that's the way to go outside, do you want to go home..?"
Ariena shakes her head in denial with a beautiful smile placed on her face, "Oh no, not at all, I was just making my way to that window, you see there ..." she turned to point towards Evan and continued, "That's my senior Evan, who saved me from falling down just a few hours ago remember..... let's go I will introduce you..."
Andrew become stiff and didn't move showing his reluctance to go there. Ariena look at him with a confession, "What happened..?" "I don't feel like interacting just now, I'll thank him for his help to you some other time..?", Andrew answered her.
Ariena suddenly realized that he was feeling tired because of alcohol, so she decided to pass this opportunity to introduce them. "That's fine, I will introduce him to you some other time. You go and rest I'll join you in few minutes ...." She turned to walk to Evan.
"Wait, why are you not coming with me... you already thanked him.. right.." Andrew piqued because of her eagerness to see Evan.
"You see he has returned recently from abroad so he is not familiar with lots of people here... see he is standing all alone I thought I should accompany him for some time as we are friends..... I'll be fine, you go on and rest..."
'Why this girl so eager to send him away and move to that person ', his thoughts were making him furious. He placed his hand on her waist and pulled her nearer to his body in such a way that there was no space between them, and said while gritting his teeth, "I'll go with you and thank him for his generous help to you..."
Ariena tried to reasoned with him, "It's okay, you can thank...."But Andrew cut her off in a stern voice by saying, "You can go there only if I'm going with you okay and we are not going to discuss any further.... so what's your answer young lady...." Ariena raised her white flag as she didn't want unwanted attention from the onlookers and agreed to his stupid wish.

It was a full moon tonight and the moonlight was making the already magnificent garden of Gibson's even more heavenly. Evan who was not familiar with most of the guest excuse himself from the buzzing crowd and went near the window to imbued his senses with ravishing scene outside.
He was so much indulge in sight viewing, that he didn't notice Andrew and Ariena approaching him. He get startled when Ariena called his name with her beautiful voice and smiling face, "Brother Evan....."
He turned in the direction from where the sound came from, "Oh Ariena , what brought you here ... is there something that you need my help again.." , he asked her in a teasing tone.
"You are so mean,how can you say that I only come to you when I need your help... hmph..... here I was feeling bad for you to see you standing all alone by yourself and thought to accompany you.... now if you see my generosity like this I'll have to leave you with your pretty solitary life...." she puffed her cheeks while saying those words and she look damn cute.
"Hahaha..... oh I'm so sorry to hurt your feeling and not noticing such a kind gestures of yours .... please ignore my incompetency Princess Ariena....." he was looking out of the world with his heartwarming smile while he was talking to her.
Andrew on the other hand was getting agitated seeing them interacting so intimately he cleared his throat to gather their attention. When Ariena heard him she immediately turned to , "Oh brother Evan let me introduce you two with each other, this is Andrew Johnston my husband and Andrew this is Evan Smith my senior cum friend cum brother..."
Both the men have a scrutiny looks to each and then Evan raised his hand for handshake and said, "Who don't know such a successful and renowned businessman Ariena..... It's pleasure meeting you Mr. Johnston.."
Andrew held his hand for shaking and said with a king aura around him, "You flattered me Mr. Smith, it's you whom I should be thankful for as you helped my wife in dealing some unpleasant flies.... thank you..."
"It's not necessary as you know Ariena is also someone special to me, you don't have to thank me for that. I'll always be there for her no matter what the situation maybe....", Evan replied with a smile on his face.
"I think that won't be needed, you don't have to worry about her because from now on I'll be watching her back very carefully....", Andrew almost chewed his words while talking to him, he was too furious to see Evan acting like this.
Ariena was at loss to understand what that situation was, she was listening like a fool by turning to and fro her head between the two while they still holding the hands. She compelled herself to pacify the both alphas
Just on that time, the song changed,the melodious romantic song ,"All Of Me" by John Legend echoed in the hall. Ariena was so excited to listen that song, she really wanted to dance on that piece of music. Evan know that it was her favorite song, he looked at her excited face and then turned to Andrew, "Can I have the honor of a dance with Ariena, if Mr. Johnston don't mind.....", he asked him.
Andrew replied fast, "Why not... You should ask her if she willing or not, but I think we have to pass this idea because she is a bit tired you know...." Andrew face was so blank that it was hard to get any idea of what he was thinking.
Ariena was perplexed by her husband's moodiness, 'When did she said she was tired, it was him clearly who was tired..' She immediately turned to him and said, "It's okay... I'm not tired and I would love to have a dance with brother Evan....if there's not a problem...."
Andrew was stupefied by her answer, he reprimanded her in his mind to his heart, 'Didn't this girl get the idea that he was putting down the request of her so called brother Evan.... FOOL... She is the most Dumbest Person he had ever seen... Ariena you slow-witted, brainless ,moron.... Aaahhh she's so hateful....."
