Given Finel's strange tirade, Sanev did not know where he could even begin to ask questions. Warriors of the gods themselves? Plural? Sanev knew of only one god, or at least one god was all he ever learned of.
"Sorry to interrupt but I believe it's my turn to ask a question" Sanev said, forcing Finel to focus back on their conversation.
"Right, of course, ask away" Finel responded and waited patiently for Sanev to gather his thoughts and ask a question.
"You mentioned we were warriors of the gods, could you elaborate?" Sanev decided to sate this curiosity first.
"Hmmm, I don't believe there is a problem with that but let me respond in the form of questions. You must believe that a god or some form of higher power made living things, do you know why?" Upon hearing, this Sanev's expression soured. This was not part of the deal.
But the other party was more powerful… But as much as he wanted to respond, he was not willing to lose out.
I hope this wasn't too much exposition. Or at least that it was the interesting kind of exposition.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed.
Thanks for reading~!
