As soon as Chris stepped into the room where Junior is, he is astonished and horrified by Junior's condition. Due to the continuous direct exposure to the polluted air without any proper treatment, Junior's wounds which are already quite bad due to being soaked in dirty water got worsened with signs of severe infection, some disgusting yellowish pus can be seen oozing out from a bigger wound on his right leg.
Seeing this, Seito is somewhat enraged, he brutally dragged Bob up from the ground and gave him a hard punch on the face.
"We told you to take care of Junior, and yet you just left him like this? We even gave you all the bandages and disinfectant for some basic dressing, can't you at least help cover up his wounds?" Seito exclaimed in anger.
"This is what everyone did in the past, exposing the wound in open-air helps accelerate the healing of wounds." said Bob as if he hasn't done anything wrong, well, he indeed hasn't done anything wrong since he totally didn't do anything.
"You... Tsk... Even if it is actually like what you said, can't you use your magic to heal his wounds?" Seito asked, rather hard to accept what Bob just said.
"Well, I do believe he is unable to do that due to a strong special magic press in this area. Since your main power is spiritual energy instead of magic so you are totally unaffected, same for Itsuki who used ancient Vampire magic. As a deity who depends purely on magic force, the magic press will totally nullify their magic." said Chris as he walked near towards Junior.
Unable to bear the foul smell of the rotten wound, Chris covered his nose with his hand, but despite that, he still crouched down to Junior and did a brief examination before applying some special healing magic that healed some smaller wounds while temporarily stopping the infection.
"These wounds are too serious for my healing magic to heal, we need to get him back to the aircraft, Hoshe should have got everything needed to treat this type of wound. But first, let's cover up these wounds to prevent further infection." said Chris.
Seito nodded before carefully handled Junior's wounds as instructed by Chris...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After a while, Chris walked back up to the ruined corridor where Sky and Itsuki are located, along with Seito and Bob who are holding Junior that is in an unconscious state. Chris noticed that Sky had moved from his original spot to the door of the staircase at the other end and guarding Itsuki together with Jimmy who is worrying about Sky's body condition. As soon as Chris and the others approached him, he greeted Chris.
"Hey Chris, did you apply some sort of powerful sleeping magic on Itsuki?" Sky asked, still sounds quite weak.
"Yeah, and I did the same thing on Junior." said Chris.
"I see... I guess it's probably the best for both of time at this moment." said Sky, agreeing with what Chris did.
"Anyway, let's get up to the uppermost floor, I found a path that actually leads to the exit up there." said Chris as he bends down and held Itsuki up in his right arm.
Then, as instructed by Chris, everyone got up to the uppermost floor where Chris just had a fierce fight with Dracula-Itsuki.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After they reached the uppermost floor, they passed through the long corridor that led to the only door on the whole floor, from the damage of the whole corridor, they can imagine how fierce the fight Chris had with Itsuki was. Then, they entered the room and got astonished by the damage level of the room as well as the massive bloodstain with some seriously burnt mark where Kazuki is leaning on and dazed off at the ceiling without any expression.
Chris glimpsed at Kazuki for a while, thinking if he should bring her along, after a short consideration, he decided to give her a ride and drop her off at the town, where she can at least get a normal life there. After putting the girl to sleep and altered her memories, Chris 'dragged' her while holding Itsuki and walked up a stair that led to a dormer.
They walked out through the dormer and were surprised to find out that they are at the mountain top. Chris helps Sky to summon Seiryu with Sky's chain accessory as Sky is at his limit and unable to do it anymore.
With the help of the blue dragon, they reached the town really quick and safely, after dropping Kazuki off at a cathedral, they returned to the aircraft where Hoshe has been waiting for their return...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Dr. Hoshe, how's his right leg? Is it as bad as it looks?" Seito asked.
"Probably worse, the serious infection had pretty much destroyed his tendons and parts of the nerve on his leg. To make things worse, for this deepest wound over here, the infection already reached deep into the bone marrow." said Hoshe with a frown.
"Ah... That sounds really bad." said Seito. Hoshe nodded without saying anything.
"Hoshe, just one question, are you able to save his legs?" Chris asked, rather directly.
"Well... I'm afraid it's not very possible, with this level of infection, most of the tissues on his legs had pretty much dead, and to save his life, it's better to amputate it as soon as possible." said Hoshe, surprisingly calm.
"What? Amputation? But... That's..." Seito is rather shocked and unable to arrange his words properly.
"Don't you have any other treatment methods aside from amputation? You should know that, this man here is very talented and has lots of hidden potentials." said Chris, in a serious and slightly demanding tone.
"Well, if there's a way I would have done it. Even if there's a way, it's too risky and too complicated. It's not worth it..."
"I get it. You are talking about one of Shiya's secret surgical techniques huh? You can just say that you can't do it since you never learned it. Back off. I am taking over from now on, I am not going to let you amputate his leg as if it's not a big deal." said Chris in the meanest words possible, and kind of disappointed at Hoshe.

*Something out of the story
Sky: "Dear readers."
Chris: "Hmm?"
Sky: "This chapter is meant to be released for webnovel.com."
Chris: "Oh! This matter. Yes, if you're reading this chapter on another platform than webnovel.com, know that it's an illegal copy diffused without the Writer's authorization."
Sky: "As what Chris said. Right now, this story is free on the authorized platform, so please read it from authorized platforms as mental support for the writer."
Chris: "Mhm... There are two authorized platforms. One is webnovel.com. And another one is that messy and half-dead Weebly site that she uses for draft and backup... But not recommended."
Sky: "Ah... Haha. Yes, as Chris said."
Chris: "But look out, those scums might change this note to their own website link. So, be cautious.
Sky : "By the way, if the cover page is the old cover page that shows two stickmen, stop reading it, it's cursed and might caused the writer to stop writing."
