The next morning, Ninth Divine Mountain, deep forest.
"Carnivorous plant's leather-like vine, sap of the divine tree, scale/powder of giant blood moth... Hmm... I really wonder how is he going to use these again." Sky murmured as he read through the list given by Chris.
"Darling, I thought we are here for Miss Leah's quest. Right? Jun-chan?" said Maria.
"Well, it's not like you don't know our Chris, he is an evil tyrant. And what the hell with that Jun-chan? Just how close you are with Junior right now?" said Sky, rather disturbed by that 'Jun- chan' of Maria.
"Aww~ You know, you had been with Chris all this time, you even shared a room with him, I am very lonely while Jun-chan is such a sweet person, so... Yeah, we are quite close now." said Maria while hooked Junior's arm.
"Ugh... I definitely don't want to know it in detail, but just to remind you that he is married and has a daughter." said Sky, clearly disturbed.
"Ah? Haha! Darling! It's not like what you think! Just that he is a really good listener and I talked to him for whole nights." said Maria as he clumsily smacked Sky's back.
"Ahaha... Whatever. I guess let's look for Chris's list first, I believe it will be easier than some mysterious missing thing that we don't even know what it is." said Sky.
"Hmm? Why do you sound not very passionate about this quest? Aren't you the one that accepted it in the first place?" Maria asked.
"Yes, I know, but for real? 'Something that you wouldn't expect to see in the deep forest'. Is that even a clue? Please at least let us know what are we supposed to look for." said Sky, a bit annoyed.
"Well... Maybe it's something too awkward to say out, you know, there are sorts of things like that." said Maria, which makes Sky a bit speechless.
"Ah... Let's just explore this place while looking for anything possible..." said Sky, rather awkward...

Forging room. Chris is carefully pouring the molten stone into a mold that can stand extreme heat while C-760 is reporting something to him.
"Hmm... So, some of those kidnapped victims are actually the contestants that lost in the deep forest, and those casualties during the defense test? Well, these do indicate that the organizers are actually assisting the Royal Guards." said Chris, in a calm tone.
"Yes, the leader of the organizers had admitted it when Colonel K called for him last night." said C-760.
"I See. Had K decided what to do with him?" Chris asked as he compressed the molten air with his magic in order to get a desirable density.
"Well, we will probably send him back to our headquarter to decide what to do with him." said C-760.
"Sounds fair enough. But I wonder if you or K mind some intervention?" said Chris in a slightly serious tone.
"Eh?"...

Later, 7 pm, hostel room.
Chris is sitting next to a working desk, doing some light wood crafting, after a while, Sky walked into the room in a rather fed-up state before throwing himself into his bed like a lifeless doll.
"Have a bad day?" Chris asked without even looking at Sky.
"Ah... For the god sake, why the hell am I even accepting this quest? I had been searching the whole mountain for something we don't even know what it looks like." Sky ranted like an elementary school kid who just came home from their night tuition class.
"I see. I had made some mixed herbs tea over there, you can have some, it's been a hard day for you." said Chris as he continues with the crafting.
"But don't worry, I had found all the things you need, including the blood moth." said Sky as he took out all the materials from his bags, including a huge jar with a giant red moth inside.
"Ah... For real? You actually found the giant blood moth in a day? Do you know how rare it is?" said Chris who finally put down his works and stared at Sky with a surprised look.
"Well, I am surprised too. This shows how hard it is to find the quested item." said Sky as he sat up and pour a cup of the lukewarm herb tea Chris made.
"Quested item? Hmm... So you had been assuming it's an inanimate object huh? Since you haven't got any results, I wonder could it be that you are searching at a wrong direction. You know, there is a possibility that it might not be an item but something else." said Chris.
"You mean it might be a living creature... Ah! Hold on! I remembered to have a dream not long ago, so it is a premonition dream after all. No wonder!" Sky exclaimed.
"Well, she never said it's an item if I am not mistaken." said Chris before continue with his work again.
"Haha. My bad. Hmm? Are you making the hilt for your new sword?" Sky asked.
"Mhmm."
"But why wood? Wouldn't metal or stone be a better option?" Sky asked. "That's a good question." said Chris.
Then he pick up a piece of the scrape-off wood and waved it near Sky's nose.
"Ah... What a nice smell. What type of wood is this?" Sky asked, rather amused.
"Haha. Just some sandalwood from Null Dimension." said Chris.
"I see... Are you telling me that is the reason why you don't use metal for the hilt?" Sky asked, curious and confused.
"Nah. Of course not." said Chris, in a casual tone.
"Ah... This person..."

*Something out of the story
Sky: "Dear readers."
Chris: "Hmm?"
Sky: "This chapter is meant to be released for webnovel.com."
Chris: "Oh! This matter. Yes, if you're reading this chapter on another platform than webnovel.com, know that it's an illegal copy diffused without the Writer's authorization."
Sky: "As what Chris said. Right now, this story is free on the authorized platform, so please read it from authorized platforms as mental support for the writer."
Chris: "Mhm... There are two authorized platforms. One is webnovel.com. And another one is that messy and half-dead Weebly site that she uses for draft and backup... But not recommended."
Sky: "Ah... Haha. Yes, as Chris said."
Chris: "But look out, those scums might change this note to their own website link. So, be cautious.
Sky : "By the way, if the cover page is the old cover page that shows two stickmen, stop reading it, it's cursed and might caused the writer to stop writing."
