"We shouldn't be doing this." Amachi shakes his head while laying Nick on the bed in the basement. "He is sent by the fae realm."

"It's fine." Eli winks at him. "His masters won't be able to do anything to him because he won't be able to regain consciousness anytime soon."

"I don't know whether you are feigning idiocy or you are truly an idiot." Amachi squints his eyes at him, beaming with biting rage. "Do you want me to become the enemy of the kingdom? The king doesn't want a war."

"Who cares what he wants?" Eli inhales the dense air in the basement. Everything smells good to him today. After all, his wife has requested him to apprehend her friend. Her level of trust in him -- when she doesn't even remember him -- has moved his core. She even remembers his name. Eli sighs gaily. "Amachi, do you know how lucky I am?"

Amachi exhales, exasperated. He doesn't want to hear about how unlucky/lucky this ghoul is. "I am done with you."
