Sage of Blood and Bones

Creation. Never has there been a word that so perfectly exemplifies the desires of man. To create is to live, and to not so is to die. There is no greater purpose than such, which is why all beings chase after it like bees towards nectar, their souls captured by desire.

From the epochs of life came beings of power, gods and devils who molded the will towards their whim, but there efforts were for not.

Then came the ancient sages of ethereal temples, exemplified by their unparalleled wisdom, yet they came no closer to understanding the meaning behind this word. Some even questioned if creation was the true path towards enlightenment or merely a false light, merely to distract from the truth.

These questions birthed the immortals and demons, polar opposites from another yet birth from the same seed.

The truth and the false are merely the opposite sides of a coin, no different from yin and yang. Waiting to be discovered, for better or for worse.
