Chapter 13: When they lied

She stood up before she picked up the remote control and turned off the television. She was passing the time by watching shows instead of cleaning the house. Jun had just arrived after he stayed with Veronica all night.

"are you going to eat or are you just going to sit there?" he coldly pointed out what was she doing in a question form. When he saw her just sitting at the couch, lifeless, he went to the kitchen to make their breakfast.

When he arrived at the house, there was no single sound he heard and there was no signs of kids. Just then, his phone vibrated and it was a text from tutor Hao, telling him that the kids were gone already, taken by their new parents.

He was confused at first, he thought that they were the kid's parents now, but when Tutor Hao explained it, he immediately understood it. They were still young, after all.

So back to the current event, Jun was standing beside her, coldness in his eyes, just like before.

"ugh, why do you care anyways?" she stood up and kicked the couch while walking towards the kitchen like a kid who didn't get her lollipop.

When she saw what were the foods, she scoffed and tried to hide her smile. Apple smoothie, pancakes and berries. Her normal breakfast was in front of her. How did he knew?

She tried to be picky while slicing the pancakes. Slowly, she ate the pancakes, savoring.

"what? Stop staring," she snarled. Jun was standing, waiting for her to finish.

"eat fast," He went away and to his room to change. She gulped before rolling her eyes. Her heart tightened in her chest, suddenly, when she thought about how empty the kitchen was. She missed the kids, fighting in the kitchen, fighting for their foods.

She shook her head to get those things out of her mind before she washed the plates. She proceeded to do her morning routine and finally, she grabbed the luggage from below and dragged it with her.

She was startled with Jun sitting on her bed when she went out from the toilet to change her clothes when he simply replied "my passport's with you," she felt a wave of pain slapped her face before she quickly masked it.

"it's in that bag," she pointed at her convertible bag while opening her closet once again. She was unsure of what to wear. Currently, she was wearing a white choker crop top paired with blue high waist loose cargo pants. She was unsure what shirt to wear, either oversize or crop. She didn't dare to ask Jun, too.

"hurry, we're going to miss our flight," seeing as she was busy in what to wear, Jun saved her, or so he thought. He was scated to compliment her.

"just wear anything, you're not walking in a runway," He blurted out and she gasped. She just wanted to look good! She 'hmph' before grabbing an 3 pierced iron ring bucket hat before grabbing her things and slammed the door in from of him.

Both went out of their house and grabbed a taxi going to the airport. She notified Victoria that they she was going to the airport. She waited for her reply but didn't receive any. So, she just turned off her phone and stared at nothing.

~

"hurry, she's already in the airport," said Victoria who was slipping feet in her black 1 inch heels. She too was a fashion freak, worse than Liana.

"you, should tell that to yourself,"

"just because your fashion is simple and easy yet outstanding doesn't mean that you're excused. You woke up late, Justin." she fought back, finally done with her shoes. She grabbed her Givenchy antigona bag while putting on her mini black cat eye glasses.

"How do I look?" she asked while twirling.

"faster!" Ashley was now the one who screamed.

"okay let's go!" Christian clapped his hands after he counted that everyone was present.

They seemed to be in rush. What was happening?

~

The four of them gathered attention not because of their fashion but because of how loud they were.

"fuck, she's here," Victoria cursed. She turned her face to Ashley who was gulping nervously. The reason they were rushing was because they wanted to be in the same plane as Liana. Victoria was getting curious about her. She did not only ignored their invitations to their meet ups, but she also hid secrets.

"Isn't that Jun? Why is he with Livie?" Justin asked while pointing at the couple who was sitting on the empty chairs.

"are they perhaps together? No, Liana would've say anything," Christian nodded at Justin.

"Ashley," Victoria lowered her glasses to the girl in front of her.

Ashley gulped before flashing them an anxious smile, " she told me not to say anything but, promise me to not tell her okay?"

"just tell us, dammit," Victoria snapped.

"Okay! She's in a forced marriage with Jun" she mumbled, looking at the people around her, making sure no one heard it but them, only.

"WHAT?!" Justin was in disbelief. Ashley immediately grabbed him when Liana turned her head on their direction. Strange, she felt like she knew them.

"Attention-"

"it's our flight, hurry, don't let her see you," Ashley pushed them.

Victoria, however, was still and thought of surprising him so that she would tell the truth.

When they were in the plane, after it took off, Justin found their seats just beside Liana and Jun's seat, just an aisle apart.

Liana was leaning on her chair while listening to some reggae songs, not knowing of what was happening in the plane, or the next thing that would happen. Victoria found a perfect situation that she and the others could pull. She called the flight attendant, asking for something and that made Liana's head, snap.

Perhaps, it's Victoria? She asked herself. Just then, Victoria wandered her eyes and found hers. She fakely gasped.

"Liana?" she gasped. Her body was slightly shaking. She didn't want them to know but knowing that Jun was awake and staring at Victoria, coldly, too, she would have to do some explaining.

"guys, it's Liana," she said to Justin. Justin immediately snapped his head, acting as he was shocked.

"Liana, why are you sitting with Jun? Is it just a coincidence or not?" Justin said, slowly.

Jun snapped his head to Justin before whispering at her, "they don't know, do they?" she gulped before nodding her head.

Good thing that the 6 of them were in the business class section. There were only at least 18 people in the area, together with them.

Victoria raised her two fingers and moved it back and forth to let Liana know that she was being called by her.

"Vic? You called me?" she faintly asked. Victoria suddenly grabbed her arm and said, "Aigoo, since when did you hide that you're engaged with the ice prince?"

She averted her eyes from Victoria and glared to Ashley. Ashley made a peace sign before looking at her boyfriend for help.

Liana went back to her seat as she got tired of standing. She fished her phone out and there, she explained to Victoria of the events. Victoria only nodded her head before going to sleep.

"next time, you should book the first class suite," He blankly muttered in her ears before going to sleep too.

In her seat, she was feeling convicted when she kept it as a secret from her friends but she also felt like she was make believed by her friends. Her expression when she saw Victoria and the others were indescribable. She had thought that their flight were diffent before.

It's really late here but I love writing!

Isn't Jun a good cook?

Can you relate to Liana? Because I can totally relate to her.

How about to Victoria?
