It was a great read until the end of chapter 8, it basically goes from where spirit hall was about to fight Xiao Wu's mother before the original DD1 plot to a massive skip of mc travelling through time picking up spirit rings as a soul douluo, basically 99% of the novel has been cut with a "rewriting" tag on a few of the earlier chapters and then nothing; just cut apart most of the novel with no activity for a year or so.

I really enjoy reading this I just wish he interacted with things a little more like the spirits of his rings or the people he meets. I understand he does want to mess up the original story to much but I feel the 40,000 year spirit ring for rongrong was just a bit over the top. Still I cant wait to see what you come up with next. Great job shadow. Also are you still gonna cover the spirit bones?

This maybe a little bit rude , however , i want to ask you , do you even read douluo dalu? Because while the idea is interesting, the world building you have done so far is a little bit err too much out of canon? Its like something different but with douluo dalu's character name , there is many plot hole and probably you will answer me it all because 'system' First thing first , i am actually fine with he going here and there , got his spirit ring from anything , but you should make it belivable , the golden tree (1m+) ring? Tang wulin got it because his connection with tang, and ah yin and his own blue silver emperor , silver dragon king gu yuena the one who hold the wisdom of dragon god actually just like 'ah-OK-letsdothat', and golden dragon king in all of his glory the own who holds the power and madness of dragon god , dude you are talking about the lord of myriad beast with 1b+ cultivation and strength of god king+(2 god kings level god couldnt even kill him in the story) . If my speculation right , you probably just do information digging from wikia and 'welp this cool lets add this to my story' , where i got no problem with that , please , just please do some background searching. Your writing is not bad really , it is just , you become too greedy with the ideas and tried to cramp all of it in this story , seriously the introduction of this story got me , i mean the protagonist somehow or other become adopted brother of xiao wu , that is really interesting , but you cant get all what you want , the development and plot are too rushed and just like i said before , too much ideas , and because that you cant focus to develop it.

Still keep on reading this novel I dunno why but I'm absorbed been reading this for a day now been wishing for some major plot twist though or make the plot thicker :D.. 10/10 would read again and would recommend
Actual literal trash from the first chapter. Not remembering anything, garbage strait garbage, he doesn’t even think of the ramifications of not having memories. At first I thought he was smart, but he is one of those “sees girl, loses all defense and complexion” trashes. Why wish for op if you don’t want to be op. And you blaspheme Itachi’s image of a cool domineering character. Another wasted character design, or should I say a trash mc to begin with. It was trashed from the start. I would like to continue but I simply can’t.

I really like this. Unfortunately chapter 9 wasn’t there and so it got confusing because all of a sudden we go from preparing for the invasion of spirit hall to looking for spirit rings with daydream. Otherwise love the story so far. Look forward to reading more!!!
