Xi Xinyi wore a full black business suit which was very different from her previous style of dressing.

Surprised, Qi Lei signaled Xi Xinyi and then said, "Have a seat."

Xi Xinyi nodded. "Thank you, Vice President Qi." She sat down on the chair and handed him a document.

"Please go through this and sign your name at the bottom if there's no issue," she said.

Qi Lei squinted at her and straightened his back before taking a glance at the document. He then smiled. "You didn't have to personally deliver this, did you?"

Xi Xinyi returned the smile. "Naturally, that's not my primary purpose."

She closed her eyes like she was in deep thought while Qi Lei remained silent and just watched her quietly, waiting for her to continue the conversation.

Xi Xinyi took a deep breath and looked into his eyes as she asked, "Has Chairman Mu been out of City Z lately?"
