Write a reviewLooks like when you take half a year break you come back with a VERY binge worthy novel =D I regrettably got busy halfway through this after supporting the author verdantly and I'm glad he stuck with it! So excited to binge tomorrow~~
"As an avid player of the world's largest MMORPG, Jack was dubbed the "Achievement Junkie" by fellow players." No he wasn't. Noone is ever 'dubbed' by his 'fellow players'.
really enjoyed the novel wish there was more to it. if anything this novel i read more if not as often as the novel called the demonic sword.
Dropped bc of literal trash character Design: MC has the maturity of a 5 yr old and the backbone of a slug. Literally comparable to the worst type of japanese protagonist. Easily pressured into doing things and does not stand up for himself at all. Takes the easy way out and does nothing if possible. Probably will gather harem for no reason, despite being the least attractive (personality wise. never mentions his looks) man ever. Let's girls and old men walk all over him. Story is extremely frustrating to read, especially after getting so excited by the premise. Dropped.
What a great story! There are some pretty great battle scenes. Thoroughly enjoyed it a lot, and glad to see it completed by the author. But what will I read now??
I rate this Epic tiere, but many may not like it but they will keep reading it. and i am one of those, i really hate genre related to God and fate, but this changes the equilibrium. i don't love it but don't hate it either. I like it. there's something special.
I just started reading this story a couple days ago and I'm only at chapter 26 or so, but I am absolutely loving the way this is going, with the way things are turning out I'm guessing the author mapped out a majority of the story before even starting. So many things just fall into place like a huge puzzle being put together. This is already one of my favorites.
I like stories where the mc has a unique system. The story was fun and think it was a good choice to end it with the defeat of the main antagonist. It did not move on to another world or bigger world like it usually is with these kind of novels. The characters were okay, a bit lacking in my opinion. All in all it was a good story
The beginning is sooooooo good... The first adventure was sooooo awesome. If it stopped there, this novel would get 5 stars. But afterwards the MC and all other characters turns to something really different. I feel that the story gave me a fake impression when the characters started to not stay true to their backgrounds stories. And the story stopped being an action-adventure-RPG to some Shy/Silly MC in an Harém-romance story. It was trully a pitty.. I was liking it so much.
I have been reading a lot of #reincarnation titles lately and I will say that I do like this one better than most. I like the attitude of the MC and thought process honestly. I don't know why other MC's aren't as logical. (I know its because of how its written 'doh. Haha)
I like how the story is going so far. It's a good read for me but the mc just F**ING irritates me how he is so goddam generous like why? (just filling in for the 140 words bs that it needs for a review but overall it's been a good read)
Amazing all the way through , and I can't wait to read more of the Quillverse. Plenty of twist, the writing is very well done grammar wise, and the MC is someone you can genuinely like.
I loved the story, the characters and the fact that it somewhat has a fullfilling ending. Very much looking forward to Olis story and upcoming crossovers!
Reveal Spoilerits a good reencarnation/system story, the main characters struggles sometimes seemed forced but completly understandable. since im a #system fan, i hope the other stories go on in this same line.

There are spoilers but they are needed to explain story development. I am now in chapter 186 and so far it has been pretty boring. Jack has barely changed or maybe he did not even change one bit. Still, the same guy who just uses the close my heart excuse. The fights are there, but except for the goblin kingdom fight, they are pretty boring though and there have barely been any fights after fighting the syndicate. Jack's personality is that of a standard isekai Japanese mc, no really there is one chapter where the same scene you see in anime happens. Boy goes to girls room, sees them in underwear, closes the door immediately while shouting, girl screams. Ever since he got Bowzers ability he became very similar to Deku when fighting in MHA; Most if not always out of the fight after using the power that overwhelms the body. The world background is good. But it takes up a lot of the story and for me became the most interesting in the novel, since the other aspects are just so plain in comparison. As the novel progresses though it becomes bad to good to decent at most. There also has been an increasing amount of misspelling as the novel progresses. I would have rated writing a 4 if not for the increasing frequency of the appearance of misspelled words. Needed spoiler The story is like those light or younger audience novels where the mc has a lot of allies but then all of a sudden gets dark and becomes light again like one of his harem members having been 'forced' by bandits in the past and then they talk become closer than a love rival appears like the typical light-hearted novel. Then it became kinda perverted but all of a sudden harem member gets captured and it became dark as the harem member is about to get 'forced' by an ogre. Yep, the hentai ogre, they even have a scene about the state of the 'forced' women by the ogre then Jack and friend kills ogre frees harem member. Light-hearted stuff until the death of said harem member. Jack sets off to revive her but when he finally gets the item he needs to revive her, he takes a girl with him. The girl wanted an item(not for the dead girl) so she might not get married off. The others tell her that her father might still marry her off in the end even with that item. So without considering the consequences of taking her, Jack offers her to join him and takes her. And it comes back to bite him because when he took her, he could not return to the dead girl to revive her in the allocated time to revive her, failing the goal of the journey. You think he would learn that but NOPE he just kinda wanted to steel his heart making him more and more like those Japanese shonen main characters when it comes to love. He could not even steel his heart as much before it softened again. IN FACT, HE DOES IT AGAIN LATER DOWN THE LINE where he goes meet up with the auction boss without thinking about the consequences of doing that. But he got lucky and the boss did not kill him even if he knows he could, Jack only realized that later on that he could have been killed by the boss and the boss would not be affected(he thought the association would trouble the boss until the boss said that obviously, the organization would not offend the boss that much even if Jack died, they would be delighted instead and be angry at Jack for keeping most of the treasures). Good thing he only got forcefully married off to his daughter instead right haha. Tl;dr: Jack barely has any character development even when someone died cause of him. The world-building takes up a lot of the story. I did not check update stability so default to 5 stars. The story has been shifting from light-hearted isekai to dark isekai then light-hearted again, not knowing which audience does the novel want to appeal to. As the story progresses more and more chapters have some misspelling in them. Although only 5 words or so in a chapter.
Reveal SpoilerNot gonna lie. I was really excited in the beginning. I thought MC is not going to be some kind of pushover but his own man. He couldn't care less about king and the royalty, and to be honest i liked it and I hoped it would stay that way. But boy was I wrong. The selfish "hero" turned out to be typical cliche virgin that shits his pants whenever girl touches him. But let's leave that aside. The first thing that surprised me was the absolute idiocy of the MC and side characters. "Oh you have just found a legendary fox that is known in legends as a beast that burns everything to the ground with its hellish flames? LET'S TALK ABOUT PUBLICLY SO EVERYONE KNOWS." "Oh you have formed a party with some douchebags that you don't trust aparat from the Hunter and Samurai-sensei? Let's tell them that you own a legendary beast. Especially when two of the members are dodgy AF at that point." "Oh you want to go to another kingdom (that would gladly go to war with yours) to loot an ancient Tomb that belong to a noble family? Oh go ahead but change your face because you're too famous. Oh, oh and don't bother with changing your name because it's really hard to connect the dots between a rising star of a hero and a random overpowered 20lvl character of the same name, especially when you tell your enemies that your name is real. Also don't forget the overpowered item that makes you invisible but don't use it to escape from the tomb. Threaten the noble families instead so it can result in your girlfriend death. But hey you just got yourself another girlfriend!" Then the worst happend. The harem. My god is it crap. Everyone falls for MC after 15 minutes of knowing him. Then MC is FORCED to double marriage, and 2 other girls want to sleep with/marry him. He turnes into a complete virgin-pushover. I was reading through it hoping that those girls would die out at some point so the author can actually start writing a good story, but as of 200+ chapter it's only getting worse. The interactions between the MC and his wives/concubines are really dry and annoying. They are actally worse than fillers in Bleach anime. And the sad part is, those interactions are getting more and more common. Those 'lovely' wives have a almost non-existant personality. Actually decent characters like the Hunter and Samurai are barely talked about later on. The main focus is on the harem. Most human opponents MC meets are just typical, cliche, prideful young masters that get whooped in three sentences. By the way, don't get it twisted. I don't mean that the MC should be ruthless and merciless psycho. I just wish he had some interesting personality, backbone or something. Anything honestly. Because of that i decided to drop it at around chapter 230ish. My english might not be the best as it's not my first language so my apologies if reading this hurt your brain in anyway ♥. Sorry for the rant but this story just annoyed me. Waste of coins/free passes. Do not recommend.
After writing 600+ chapters, I'm writing a second and final review. By then, the characters and readers understand that Achievement Junkie is simply one world within a multiverse. Yes, I said MULTIVERSE. All stories that I write will be from different worlds in different parts of the audience-dubbed "Quillverse". Some characters and intergalactic knowledge may be hinted at or shared within the many stories, but each world and plot is completely different from the others. So, if you like an unpredictable, ever-growing world and universe where characters across various stories will meet and "cross-over" to work together and/or face each other, then you're in the right place. And no, you won't technically need to read them in order. You'll be able to read the final culminating story that connects everything without reading any other stories. But you'll be missing out on many hints or call backs, as well the satisfaction of seeing all the other worlds' characters grow and join the intergalactic battle. At the moment, there are 6 stories guaranteed slots in the Quillverse, with 5 leading up to the giant, final journey to connect everything. I may add more stories to the list leading up to the finale story, but I'm not promising anything apart from the 6 stories that I've already outlined and plotted at the time of writing this review. Thank you for considering my story, and I hope you find the entertainment you're looking for. Have a high-five. ヘ( ^o^)ノ\(^_^ )
so not really a fan of how literally every single girl the MC meets becomes a love interest ...😒 it gets old very fast. I wish there was more story and less random romance popping up or even one love interest he is forced with.

Reveal SpoilerI have read 50 chapters so far, and I feel like this novel deserves a review. To put my thoughts simply, this novel has a mostly unique world, good writing, and great characters. The world is interesting, but not completely unique (although it is hard to be completely so). However, it is more than unique and interesting enough to feel new and fresh. The characters are the real selling point to this novel. There are cliche events and people, but they are often turned on their head. The events or people are definitely more than the filler they seem to be at first. The best part, so far, is that characters act how you would expect them to. A character doesn’t immediately form a grudge that cannot be reconciled with the main character. They may have enmity at first, but the author masterfully subverts this as we learn more about the character. I find myself liking the characters that I hated at first. Somewhat of a downside is the pacing. It feels off. A little too much time is spent on some events, which I don’t feel quite warrant it. Of course, this is mostly subjective, so take it with a grain of salt. Overall: 4/5
so far I'm up to chapter 97 and I have to say this is an awesome novel. all the characters a likable and it is a very funny novel with some good action. the main character is not over powered so far. definitely reccomend it.
Love this story. World and character development are very well done. I like the innocent perspective of the guy but I think it's unbelievable for any OTAKU/NEET/NERD categorized male to not lose their mind when finally presented with all tail they could dream of. Especially when it finally happens.
Reveal SpoilerSo I’m not normaly one to write reviews on novels but after some consideration this novel deservs to get the attention. Now that being said as the titel of the novel indicates the story is a bit different and I mean that in a good way, but hey you checked the novel out so it means you at least enjoy this kind of story. Now a little disclaimer, the story is a bit slow at the beginning and it might feel like not much is happening bit it picks up the pace a bit into the story so even if you feel like something is missing I would recommend at least reading the free part . Now for the more reviewing part of the review, you might disagree as I’m no proffessional. I have my own preferences and biases but I will try to be as honest as possible so keep the non constructive comments to a minimum. The writing according to me flows nicely and transitions in a nice way from scene to scene and helps imersion in the story. It’s to be grammaticaly correct most of the time since it is impossible to be completely correct without someone solely dedicated to proffreading and even then it is hard. That said it was a bit worse the first bit of the story but as the author has grown it has become really good. 4/5 Since the beginning was a bit stale but the rest of the story makes up for it. The update stability is at the top on this website as the author most of the time not only keeps to his high amount of releases but when he for some reason can’t he always tell us why and makes sure we know what is happening even when it takes longer than he expected. 5/5 Even though this will only be important once you caught up and are hooked like the rest of us. The story development had a slow start with not to much happening. That being said, it kicks up a gear after the beginning and starts taking you through the huge world of achievement junkie and indicates that there might be something more. Many small things that you get introduced to that seems like it not to important comes back and show its importance, demonstrating how the story direction and framework was worked out early on and gives the reader the satisfaction of connecting the dots. 4/5 The beginning was a bit too slow started but still well planned out and important while the latter parts is that but also faster paced. For the caracters I can only say that this is the best novel I can recall to have so many characters that feels memorable, alive and uniqe. It’s almost a disservice to the author to try to describe them, so if you read to enjoy the characters this is the novel for you. 5/5 Simply amazing The world background is nice and and fleshed out with even kingdoms histories being described (in a nonrambling way in contrast to me XD). Descriptions of the environment is plenty enough to help keep the immersion but not so much it clogs up the story. All that aside, not only is the novel well planned out, it is hinted at much more coming. Imagine the marvel cinematic universe but novel edition. We don’t have to much information yet how exactly it will be done though so dont fix your mindset on that until then. 5/5 World history is fleshed out nicely, environment decribed in a good nonannoying way and there is more coming/is planned out for the story universe. Thank you for reading my overly long review (I just wanted to be thorough). And since you were able to spend this time just to read through this long of a review, know that the story is more worth to spend the time on. At least read all the free chapters before desiding to keep reading or not.
This is one of the novels that start of not too great(it was good enough for me to keep reading and author was pretty much inexperienced back then), but becomes much better later on. It's also unlike most of the cliche stuff out there in this app. You want my honest opinion? It's not that this novel doesn't deserve webnovel but webnovel doesn't deserve it. It's that good.
Looks like when you take half a year break you come back with a VERY binge worthy novel =D I regrettably got busy halfway through this after supporting the author verdantly and I'm glad he stuck with it!
Dropped.
