A strange feeling permeated out of Eric's body. It was akin to the feeling one would get when one was surrounded by nature. It was a relaxing feeling. However, the royal guards weren't relaxed. Instead, they felt repulsed by Eric, as his presence intensified many folds after his transformation. They remained fixated upon his new visage, as well as rooted to the ground due to fear. But, they would soon come to know the mistake that they had made.
"Even if his presence got a bit stronger, it's not like his cultivation inc-" The Eagle lady, before she could finish her words, felt a change in her surroundings. Eric had appeared in front of her, but she couldn't see him. Even her strong eyes couldn't catch his movements, and thus her brain couldn't process the fact that he was right in front of her.
"You can die now." As Eric spoke, his body started to materialize in front of her eyes. She could see his sword floating in front of him, while he extended both of his hands towards her. One hand in front of her face, and the other in front of her chest. The next instant, the eagle lady felt pain. It was a type of pain akin to having water touch a scab. It was a type of pain that was followed by a sudden peace. By the time the peaceful feeling took over her, her body was lying on the ground, dead.
There were no flashy attacks, nor any extravagant techniques. She simply fell down on the ground, unmoving, after Eric waved his hands. The guards stood in shock after looking at this. None of them could react, as their fear of Eric grew even stronger now. People, since old times, were afraid of the unknown. Now, that fear was multiplied by the fact that it brought death with it.
Eric didn't give them the time to think about their next actions. He moved in an incredible speed again and appeared in front of the mole beastman. Be it the fact that he was stronger than the eagle lady, or the fact that fear brought out his full potential, he was able to react to Eric's appearance. The mole beastman created an earth wall between him and Eric, and sweat covered his entire body. Just as he was about to breath in relief, the wall broke into pieces. Again, he brought up a new wall. However, due to the dust created by the destruction of the first one, he failed to keep track of Eric's movements.
His fear took over his rationality, making him surround himself with walls from all directions. Outside of the wall, Eric stood motionless. The other two guards couldn't move in to protect their fellow guard. They could only look in horror as Eric went with his attack. He thrust with his hand as if he was trying to hit someone's stomach with his palm. A strong gust of wind picked speed, turning into a typhoon in less than a second, blowing away the wall and everything inside of it.
'I need to hurry up…' Eric thought to himself as his hair started to lose its green color. He turned around to look at the remaining guards and rushed at them. Like before, he disappeared and re-appeared in front of the two of them. The two of them reacted at the same time and attacked. They knew the best way to stay alive, was to actually kill Eric. Running, or hiding, was not an option.
A close quarters combat ensued, and the two guards were losing ground. Each time they exchanged blows with Eric, they felt a numbing sensation in their arms. However, they seemed to notice the decrease in Eric's power, so they were encouraged to hang around until they could beat him.
"You're not curious about how your friend died?" Eric said as he jumped to the back, and continued, "Your hands, you can't use them, right?" as he looked at the wolf beastman, whose arms were shaking. The wolf beastman's whole body started to shake uncontrollably, as he thought the same thing that happened to the eagle lady would happen to him. The guards' leader looked at him as if waiting for the inevitable to happen. He then looked at the eagle lady and noticed blood flowing out of her mouth, eyes, ears, and nose canals.
"I'm just kidding. It's too distasteful to use the same trick twice. For you two, I'll use my strongest technique to finish you off. But remember, this was created for the sake of bringing down colossal enemies!" Eric said as he held his floating sword for the first time since he transformed. The sword's color changed to emerald green as well, while wind started to gather around it. Eric held it by his waist while raising it a little higher.
The two guards were confused, but wary at the same time. They knew that Eric would use his remaining strength on this attack, so they planned to wait until he attacks, dodge the attack, and then take him down. They looked at him as he swung his sword. It was as if time became slow, and they could see his movements clearly. But, they didn't see anything attacking them.
However, the next instant that the sword pointed at the wolf beastman, a splat was heard. The leader turned his head slightly to look at what happened and noticed that only blood had remained in the spot where his friend was. Then, he noticed his own arm disappearing, as if a chainsaw was cutting it. 'I can't see anything…' The whole body of the leopard disappeared as well, leaving behind only blood. The whole process happened before the feeling of pain could go from his arm to his brain.
'Haa haaa…" Eric dropped to one knee as he caught his breath. He withdrew a potion created by Ed and drank it. He could feel his QI slowly rejuvenating as he walked towards the Wind Cage. As he flew to the sky, he started to undo it, and the scenery inside started to unfold. He could see Ellie fighting against Gazef, as well as a three-headed Hydra.

Sneak peek of my new novel!
"Try to use some magic," she said while resting on the table. Al tried to use 'Body Strengthening' but couldn't feel his magic power moving. 'Eagle Eye' 'Fireball' 'Fire Lance'…Nothing worked.
"I see that they work, hi hi hi!" Eldrida laughed maniacally as she dragged Al by his collar. Without his magic power, he was even more helpless to do anything. She opened the window and raised Al with one hand.
In the past week, Al kept looking for Eldrida's profile. He had a window dedicated to the people of the world, classed by alphabetical order. As he found her information, he was rather shocked. She donned many titles given to her by people. 'The Rampaging Witch', 'The Crazy Scientist', 'The Calamity Queen', and finally 'The Genius Dhruv Eldrida'. She was banned from Chaka kingdom, a kingdom that existed in the center of the continent, due to almost killing the first prince of that kingdom.
Al, after reading these things, was moved by her abilities and knew that he would be able to hone his abilities under her tutelage. Little did he know, her eccentric character would end up affecting him in the future.
"Don't come back until you hunt something worthy, you shitty brat!" She shouted as she threw Al out of the window. He kept flying until he hit the branches of a tree.
"You shitty granny!" Al couldn't help but shout in anger at Eldrida!

Hello everyone! Sorry for not posting yesterday I was really tired. The sneak peek is from the latest chapter! Also, discord seems to be working again in case you want to ask me something! Enjoy
'What is that? A three-headed dragon?' Eric looked at the figure fighting against Ellie alongside Gazef. It was only natural that he didn't recognize the Hydra, as it wasn't a creature that existed normally in this world. Eric bottled down his curiosity and switched his focus on helping Ellie. From his position, he could see how she was pressured by the combined attacks of her two enemies.
'That doesn't seem like an actual monster…It feels ephemeral, or rather like a ghost. Could it actually be an Avatar?' Eric thought to himself while advancing through the rubble. He was rather tired from his fight, but he could only push himself.
Moving like an assassin, Eric erased his presence with Zetsu and closed in on the Hydra. However, he couldn't hide his physical appearance, and thanks to the three heads' field of view, he was spotted rather quickly. It was all according to his plan, so he wasn't stopped by this and continued to move forward. The Hydra switched its attention to Eric and its attacks were not missed by Ellie. Gazef noticed this and looked towards Eric and finally noticed the disappearance of the Wind Cage.
"You…Where are my guards?!" Gazef was more than surprised, but he didn't act on impulse. He switched his focus back to Ellie and continued fighting her.
Eric responded, "Dead. Like you will be." He clashed against the Hydra's middle head while the other two targeted his sides. Eric jumped backward, avoiding its teeth.
"Ellie…Are you okay?" Eric asked out of worry. He could see that she was able to fight, but he was worried about something. On her left arm, a purplish-black wound disfigured it.
"It's fine, I managed to stop the poison by using my QI. I can't feel any pain for now anyway." Ellie responded as she exchanged blows with Gazef. None of her blows managed to draw out his blood, and none of his blows managed to hit her. The only reason she was injured, was because she was caught off guard when Gazef summoned his Avatar, the Hydra.
The Hydra's teeth were laced with a gooey green poison, which was the one that caused Ellie her injury. Thanks to her quick thinking, however, she managed to put a stop to it for now. But, the longer she drags the fight, the stronger the effect of the poison will be.
"Then you should focus on your opponent. I'll handle this thing." Eric chose the best course of action that he could think about. He knew that he wasn't able to kill the Hydra right now, and so he chose to allow Ellie to focus on Gazef. Killing Gazef meant killing the Hydra. It was a gamble that he was willing to bet on.
"No longer feel any pain? Well, I'll be glad to tell you that your parents felt plenty of it. They begged me to stop as I poisoned them again and again as I gave them the antidote. They even developed an immunity to it, which made me use even stronger poison. By the time I was done, they couldn't even be recognized as they had lost most of their internal organs. I had their heads displayed on sticks, and paraded them through the four cities!"
Gazef mixed lies with truth and spoke to Ellie. His goal was to get her mad enough to lose her rational thinking, as he thought it would allow him to gain an edge over her. However, much to his disappointment, Ellie didn't react to him. It was his miscalculation to think that Ellie was the type to go berserk when angered. But, in fact, she was the type to become as calm as still water.
"My parents would never beg for their lives, so you can stop with your lies. As for parading their heads, I wouldn't put it past you. However, as I told you before, I'm not going to forgive you. I will make you know what true hell feels like." Ellie squeezed her hands, so hard, that it felt like her Gauntlets were about to break. She channeled her QI towards them, making them transform into flaming weapons.
On the side, Eric heard what Gazef said. He bit on his lips as he thought about the emotions that Ellie was going through right now.
"I'd like to see you try! Unlike my useless guards, I will murder every last one of you! I DON'T NEED ANYONE!! ALL OF THE PEOPLE IN THIS KINGDOM ARE USELESS!" Gazef's eyes turned red as veins popped up in his head. His scales glistened as his fist clashed with Ellie's. The two of them went blow for blow, but Gazef seemed to be overpowering her a little. Gazef punched Ellie, targeting her face, but she blocked with both of her fists. This caused Gazef's hands to get burned as they weren't as protected as the rest of his body.
But, ignoring the pain, Gazef used a roundhouse kick, sending Ellie flying towards the back. Ellie's back hit the ground as she rolled around for a couple of times. She jumped up before he could approach her and took her a fighting pose. Ellie bit hard on her teeth, showcasing her set of fangs.
'If he's able to transform, so should I! We're all part beast, so we should go even closer to a beast form!' Ellie convinced herself as she tried to make something happen within her body. Her best guess was to pump her QI reserves even harder into her muscles and bones.
Strangely enough, something did indeed happen. Ellie's body started to produce steam as if she boiling. Her muscles bloated up, turning her into a beefy form, while an orange patch of fur appeared from her elbow down. Her pupils dilated, and whisker marks appeared on her cheeks. Gazef stood motionless as he looked at Ellie with a look that screamed 'This can't be happening'.
"I told you, didn't?! I can do it without anyone's help!" Ellie shouted as her Gauntlets produced cracking sounds. Her hands and legs became a mix of human and tiger limbs, growing in size. However, thanks to Ed's mastery over Blacksmithing, they didn't break. Instead, they adapted to Ellie's new form, transforming into think, yet long claws.
Ellie crouched a little before her legs produced an explosion-like noise. The next instant, she had already punched a hole through Gazef's chest.
