Yeah... he kinda needs it. 😂
But finding Kafka won't be easy. The Stellaron Hunters are elusive at best. I bet I wouldn't be able to find them even with Herta's resources. Thus, my win condition is to ensure the story unfolds as it's meant to, meaning…

Huh. It's a plausible theory.
She continues, her voice contemplative. "Himeko and Mr. Yang and… who was it again? Anyway, they figured out a way to melt the ice and saved me. Who I am, where I'm from, my name… it's like everything was erased from my mind. "March 7th" was the day they found me, so it stuck. Ever since then, I've been hanging out on this train and following it to whatever destination it decides to stop at. I'm hoping that one day, I can find my past."

More than a fair observation. However, I was afraid of making such a bold supposition since both worlds, while very similar, are very, very different in many ways as well. While there'll likely be a point where Welt finds out about Xander's origins, it's something I'm aiming to tackle later in the story on its own and with the seriousness it deserves. This part was only meant as a fun scene, after all, but the seed is there: one wrong thing said, and Welt will know Xander comes from Earth (just not his!)
Welt pauses, his brow furrowing as he tries to recall the term. He thinks about it for a second. Then another. Then another. Finally, he shakes his head, a bemused smile on his face. "I'm afraid it escapes me. It must be nothing of consequence."

I read your other comments and was waiting for you to continue reading further so you'd find the answer to your very reasonable observation. Looking forward to your future comments!
Herta studies me silently, the tension in the room palpable. Even through this doll, I can sense her brilliant mind at work, weighing the risks against the potential scientific breakthroughs my proposal offers. Finally, she speaks, her voice carrying a hint of grudging respect. "You make a compelling case. We'll see if you can follow through on these grand promises."

Thank you for the high praise! I'm honored you consider this one of the best HSR fics you've read, especially since drama isn't your usual preference. I appreciate you giving it a chance. Your feedback on the update schedule is noted, and I'm glad the quality and length of chapters make up for it. Thanks for reading and for your honest review!
Genuinely appreciate your review Aosten. Wish you well. Look forward to future chapters!
The canon explanation is that he's more like an extremely stressed individual who has begun to hallucinate aspects of his own conscience. As for the actual answer? As the author, I'm using this as a narrative device to explore his background and reveal other facets of his personality.
Appreciate you giving it a shot at least. Thanks for the review and for reading the story!
Thank you so very much!
