His primary language is Portuguese boy English, so while it may come off as weird to you, that's probably just how it's said in his native language. He uses translation software to translate from Portuguese to English, so there's very little modification of the little differences. Just please be patient with him. All of our recent conflicts were either Proxy Wars or terrorist cells. Vietnam was simply to not let Russia get more sympathizers, in which we succeeded in that regard, even if what we did there was twisted and awful. Operation Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, and others were wars on Terrorism after they struck first. The secondary less talked about objective is to not let Russia get a foothold in the Middle East. It's real easy to launch Missiles from the Middle East to the US. Plus we don't want them controlling the flow of oil everywhere. But I agree an all out war against China or Russia would be catastrophic to everyone around us. That's the main reason we don't just attack each other and fight with our economies instead of our weapons.

A little late here, (mostly because I read this chapter before you commented) but he means in terms of skills and stats. Imai Cosmo has incredible grappling but poor striking power, Adam Dudley has incredible striking power but mediocre grappling. Julius Reinhold has amazing strength but average speed, meanwhile Rei has insane speed but average strength. Yuji is the most well rounded fighter in the tournament, he has top notch grappling, with incredible striking power. He has immense strength that can crack bone and speed that shocks his opponents. Moreover he doesn't rely on one style of fighting, as seen already he uses Boxing, Jiu Jutsu, and Jeet Kun Do. Meanwhile unbeknownst to them he has more than seven fighting styles he's proficient with. Therefore he isn't lacking in any one area, there's no weakness to take advantage of. On the ground or slugging it out he has excellent technique, he isn't physically weak or slow so you can't easily tank his blows or outmanuever him. And while he isn't the best in every category (Wakatsuki and Julius are stronger than him and Rei is faster), he is above average in both categories (I'd argue top 5 in the tournament in both categories as of this chapter)
