"Sleep? Am I? Why?" I asked confusedly. "You are jet lagged aren't you?" I had almost forgotten about jet lag, no wonder I was feeling so uncomfortable. "You don't need to fight your jet lag, you can just sleep it off. And don't worry about the uni tour. I'll be your personal guide tomorrow", he checked his phone and said. "Ok. When are you leaving?" I asked him cause I think staying alone with him in a house, is a bad idea. Because the more I see him the more cute he seems. And there are so many things that I want to do with him. For example, right now I want to sit on his lap and put my hands around his neck. My thoughts are dangerous for both him and I.
"I'll leave..." he looked down at his watch "in 1 hour exactly". "This one hour is going to be the hardest hour of my life", I said under my breath. "What?" "Nothing", I gulped down half of my soymilk. But it's tasteless, seems like it doesn't have any sweet at all. "Do you have sugar or honey at home?" I asked him. "Nope". I looked down in disappointment. "By the way, why are we eating here on the kitchen island instead of the dining table", I asked him pointing towards the dining space behind us.
"I think.... Ummm.... Maybe because we are busy?" he said looking confused, his one eye twitched. "Busy with what?" "Sleep". "What? No!! You are not planning to sleep with me, are you?" I asked with my eyes widened. Crossing my hands infront of my chest. He split the water out of his mouth in shock. "What? No!! Of course not. Do I look like that type of person to you?" he asked innocently. And this innocent look of his face is beyond adorable. I shrugged my shoulders. "Unless you want something like that, of course", he quickly recovered from the shock I believe, since he can tease me. "No, no I don't", I quickly denied, looking away. "Lam, it's alright if you have these thoughts. But we don't need to rush into anything. Let's take it slow. Cause the night is still young", he said with smirk. I didn't need to reply to that cause I believe my blush gave it all away.
He left for his university when I was changing in the washroom. Yeah of course I had to wear his pajamas cause I literally don't have anything right now. He had told me that he had made coffee for me and that he had kept it in the kitchen island. I looked for the coffee as soon as I got out of the washroom. By the way Raidan is very hospitable, cuz he let me use his biggest bathroom. While he used the one attached to his bedroom.
I noticed the coffee cup as soon as I looked at the kitchen island. I had originally thought that, I'll have to heat the coffee but to my surprise when I opened the lid of the coffee cup, the coffee was still hot. I picked up the cup and looked around, thinking that it's time for me to take a little tour of the house. Raidan told me to feel at home and that's what I'm exactly going to do now.
I stared from the frontyard. It's not too big nor too small. I the garage is at the right of the house, but it doesn't seem like it could fit a lots of cars. At least that's what it seems from outside. I couldn't check inside the garage since I don't have a key. I looked around and then went to the backyard. There is a large porch in the backyard as well. Also in the backyard there is a nursery. It looks like green house though. I wanted to enter but it's also locked. I peeked inside it through the glass. Well this is a wonderful neighborhood to live in. It's so quiet and peaceful. I was walking back inside the house when a girl stopped me.
"Excuse me," the girl said. I turned around to face her. "Hello, I'm Avegail. I live next door", she stated. She is a girl in her early 20s like me. But she is tall and skinny and her looks tell me that she is either from Cuba or from Costa Rica. Or, maybe she is a mix of both. Her English sounds like Costa Ricans. And her expression is a bit tensed ."Hello Avegail. I'm D, I'm visiting here", I expressed. "Oh!!" she exclaimed in relief. "No wonder. I thought the same since I've never seen you before. May I know what's your relationship with the house owner? Are you his cousin?" she added.
"Cousin? No, umm... I'm his fiance", I stated smiling from the corner of my lips. But Avegail didn't smile, in fact she looks heart broken, she even sounded heartbroken when she said, "Fiance? Who's fiance are you?" she asked narrowing her eyes .
"The house owner's", I replied cautiously. "Ohh". "Don't mind me asking but do you like him?" I asked narrowing my eyes. "Nope. I.." she trailed off. "I guess I just liked his blonde hair", she continued as I pinned her with a disbelief look. But when she said blonde hair, something felt off about her statement at that moment. 'Blonde hair' it didn't match. Raidan doesn't have blonde hair. His hair is light brown. Then who she is talking about?
