"Seriously? This is what you have decided to go with? Alright, then." Lauren took two courageous steps near him, almost staring into his red eyes.
"Kill me!" She challenged him in almost a whisper, which echoed in his ears.
Elliott eyes grew dark, his pupils dilated, taking in the sight of the brave girl still standing staring at him.
The scent of human blood wafted towards him, causing his fangs to protrude and his mouth to water. He could feel the thirst raging within him.
"You aren't taking it seriously, are you?" He questioned, frustrated — like she had never seen him before. He looked down and shook his head harder, trying to get rid of the newfound desire to devour her.
Lauren could feel anger burning inside her. "Why should I? When you are talking like some psychopath... Well, just so you know, if I'm in danger, you're in danger too. And what if I spill the beans about you being a vampire? Think about that."
Lauren raised her eyebrows as she stared at him, amused at herself. 'I'm doing it great. I just need to stay away from him after this,' she thought.
He stopped then, motionless for a moment. Seconds seemed to pass by as Elliott took his very own sweet time to answer her. The corner of his lips curved upward as he bend down towards her level, stared straight in her big charcoal eyes.
"A lowly human like you, who can just threaten us with warnings like this, and then obviously will not expose something that will result in their own life." His words were sharp as knives. It was hard to know, if he was insulting her or warning her.
Elliott chuckled, and his eyes, which turned just dark red, stared into hers, where his were much darker than hers.
He noticed the fear, confusion, and ego that had been shaken now. Elliott cleared his throat. "I don't understand you," he told her suddenly, his black-magic voice so quiet that she had to strain to hear him.
She narrowed her eyes at him, not trusting herself to speak, and she was still deciding the best course of action when he said
"Aren't you afraid? The demon will come for you," he observed her reaction and noticed how she gasped in what looked like a slight emotion of fear.
But she retracted her expression and showed her brave side, while he knew how her breathing were working.
"Why do you save me?"

寫檢討Writing Quality (4) The writing quality in this story shows promise. The author is able to vividly describe the atmosphere of the story which sets a tone that can suck readers into the story. Although there are still a few grammatical errors scattered throughout the chapters. Story Development(4) The first two chapters are a bit slow but set up the character of Lauren really well. The third chapter is where things really start kicking off and the story starts to become more gripping. Character Design(5) The characters in the story are unique and well described in a natural way that suits each of their personalities. World Background(4) The world this author has set up is well-developed and holds a lot of mysteries for the readers to explore. Sometimes descriptions of the setting are lacking. Overall this story has potential. As the author continues to polish their writing skills I think this can be a gripping story as the readers follow Lauren on her journey.
I praise the author for setting up the tone properly. It's creepy! I can literally visualize the scene as I read. There were few grammatical errors and misuse of punctuation but they don't get in the way in the immersion of the story. Keep it up, author.
Deserves a five-star review! The first chapter alone was enough to keep me hooked. I felt like I was watching a Netflix movie but reading in real sense. I like the way the author particularly describes the events making the reader to become one with the characters; simply spellbound. What then shall I ask for except for more chapters.
Alright! that was awesome story, even though the setting wasn't that much of my taste. But the author really good at writing the description make me get in the world quickly, and then there was interesting character. But the most favorite was the monsters! For some reason I was more interesting in the monsters rather than the characters, but so far it was a good read, great work! Hope the author would continue the story until the end.
This book is absolutely deserving of the WSA. Ash skillfully immerses readers in a captivating world of fantasy. I can't stress enough how much I love it - as you continue reading, you'll reach a point that will completely shake your world. It's a hidden gem that not many readers are paying attention to, but trust me, it's a win-win for both the author and the readers. The story revolves around a university love story, with mates, vampires, and a human with incredible powers. The love story between Lauren and Elliott starts off slowly, but that's how it should be. The tension between them is palpable every time they see each other. [img=Loving it]
This book blew my mind right from the start. It opened my eyes to a new world!! I cannot believe how mature the storytelling is! The author first brings you face-to-face with the Lead. While you are still in a daze after meeting the Lead, you suddenly notice you are not in your country...you are right there with Lauren!!! The imagery is so strong and vivid, that you are bound to be right behind Lauren watching everything she experiences as the world of the story slowly unfolds. You wouldn't notice if it's the story unfolding or you are discovering newer areas in the world map!! The setting and the story are so nicely interwoven with each other, that you forget that you are supposed to be in the land of humans not inside the world of Wildblood. It's only the first chapter!! And see? How much I have written? I wonder what my next review will look like!!! You cannot miss this book...Read and enjoy!! you won't regret it!!
Read some of the first chapter and still not finished yet. The strongest thing in this novel is the characters. They feel like regular human, and I just love how the authors paints a vivid image in the reader's mind. The plot is good with huge potential but there are some grammatical mistakes though I still like it even though I don't read this kind of novels Hehe
It’s been a while since I’ve ready a story like this, good lord, it’s making me like the creepy atmopshere a lot more.
So far so good, I like the characters, they are life like. the first five chapters are very well written and thought out. will binge it when i finish writing my chapters.
揭示劇透The premise is interesting and makes one wonder what will happen next. I like the pace since it is neither too fast nor too slow and the writing quality is also good. The synopsis could be a little bit improved but it didn't hinder me from enjoying this novel. Overall a great read and I will be looking forward for new chapters
*I think the synopsis needs a bit more work to entice readers.* The writing style is excellent, the setting is vivid and the authors effort at immersing the reader into the world created is impressive. This is one book vampire fans will not want to miss out.
I like this kind of story. Its reminds a bit of three distinct tv shows, that if you enjoy, you should give it a shot! Legacy, Supernatural and The Order *(Netflix). I'll by sure be following it. To improve: - Grammar: Minor issues with sentences and high usage of repeated pronouns. I recommend you to use 'Wordtune' and 'Hemingway' for a rewrite. All in all, keep the good work.

So, I just finished reading this book and I gotta say, I rated it fairly based on what I expected going into it. I mean, my heart was broken before reading it, so I wasn't expecting much. But, I had a really fun time reading it and it kept me from falling into a slump. The protagonist, Elliott, was a typical YA paranormal hero with qualities such as being awesome, broody, protective, sweet, fierce, and vulnerable. It satisfied my desire for such a genre. I was hoping for more overly dramatic scenes in the incoming chapters. The plot itself was amazing. The idea is amazing. Zaiden and Hazel is amazing. Elliott is amazing. Oh, Elliott is SO AMAZING. He's a cute ( in my opinion) dark, psychopath, it's the perfect combination. I love you Elliott.❤️🧛
