章節 48: Lillith’s repentance

(RHEA'S POV)

The Alpha had left me in a very sober state. I had now delved in to memories of my past. I never met my mother, it was said that she had died shortly after giving birth to me. I blamed myself for it subconscious because if I had not given her such a hard birth, then she would have been here.

I longed to know who she was. To know who she could have been but I knew that it was no use longing because I would never see her.

I don't remember much about my father either. I have faint memories of his kisses and his tickles, faint memories of our laughter but the memories were never solid enough for me.

Sometimes thinking about him made me angry. I wished that he was a human or even a regular Male Wolf. But because he was the Beta Wolf of this pack, he had died in his line of duty. He had died and left me alone with Lillith and my horrid step sisters.

Now all these thoughts made me feel even more lonely.
