章節 10: Chapter 10 : The Last Laugh Belongs to the Winner

**Vote Plz...**

On the deck of the Plunderer's Tower, a fierce battle—or rather, a siege—was coming to an end.

"Hoo... hoo..."

The head sailor, the powerful bald man, was undeniably strong, but after being heavily injured by the bombs in close combat, he was now gasping for air and nearing exhaustion.

Splitch,

A flash of light, and another hole pierced the already heavily injured sailor's lower back.

Right now—

A fierce glint flashed in his eyes, and the muscles around the wound suddenly tightened, forcibly trapping the stabbing sword inside his body. The blood-soaked sailor, wielding his axe, swung backward, determined to take down the treacherous navigator.

Splitch!!

Blood splattered, the blade cut through flesh, but it missed its target!

"How dangerous,"

However, the axe only struck another dead sailor, and at a critical moment, the navigator, Doflamingolansi, pulled another crew member in front of him, using him as a "shield" to block the attack from the already heavily injured sailor.

Swish,

Taking advantage of this opportunity, the navigator withdrew his sword and continued his agile attacks.

"Ah ah ah ah~~~"

"Coward! Useless! Fight me like a man!!"

The enraged head sailor swung his massive axe, but his movements became slower and heavier.

If the knife were still there, if he hadn't been hit by the explosion, if his subordinates hadn't all rushed in front of the captain's room...

Unfortunately, there were not so many "ifs." The head sailor was surrounded by constantly moving enemies, like hyenas hunting a male lion. Bullets and knives kept landing on him, all hit-and-run attacks, not engaging in a direct fight.

Dong!

The massive axe fell heavily on the deck, and the blood beneath his feet formed a small "puddle." The sailor's pupils dimmed, and his heart, which had been twitching, finally stopped beating.

"Dead?"

"Seems like it..."

The bald head sailor lay motionless, but the saying "a tiger's strength remains even in death" seemed to apply here. The tall figure stood on the deck, holding the massive axe, eyes wide open with anger, as if he could erupt into a killing frenzy at any moment!

The few remaining sailors under the navigator's command felt both relieved and on edge.

Finally, it's over!

Now it's time to enjoy the victory—

Bang, bang, bang!

After a series of gunshots, the joy on the faces of the sailors was short-lived as they were blasted away by bullets.

?!

"Sir Krahorn, what does this mean?"

The navigator, dodging the bullets, looked up at the high-hatted nobleman who had emerged from the ruins of the captain's room.

"You planted explosives in the captain's room, treating your subordinates as pawns. Hiding in a secure secret room, and now coming out to attack us again..."

The navigator sighed with a look of regret.

"Captain, your actions have really chilled the hearts of your brothers—"

"Stop pretending,"

The noble captain, holding a cane in one hand and a flintlock pistol in the other, looked coldly at the navigator.

"All of this was orchestrated by you, wasn't it?"

On this ship, besides the head sailor, Aalak, who could silently take out any sailor, there was also the navigator who displayed formidable strength right now... and the ship's captain, Krahorn!

The performance of the head sailor didn't seem like the work of a mastermind behind the scenes, and since the captain didn't make a move himself, the only possibility was:

Opposite Navigator!

"Did you kill your uncle Olivier too?"

···

Facing the noble captain's questioning on the deck covered with bodies, the sophisticated navigator, with a slight smile, made a term float into Rosinante's mind:

A wolf in sheep's clothing!

"What does it matter?" replied the navigator casually.

Around him were either corpses or wounded crew members about to become corpses.

In this situation, the sophisticated navigator decided to stop pretending and revealed his true intentions.

"I did all this for the future of the Doflamingolansi family. I believe Uncle Olivier would understand, and Sir Krahorn, you would understand as well, wouldn't you?"

Shoo—

He lowered himself and lunged!

As soon as he finished speaking, the sophisticated navigator charged at the noble captain with his stabbing sword in hand, moving at high speed.

Once he killed the captain, the ship, the cargo on board, and even the smuggled explosives... everything would belong to him! Selling all these items would give him enough startup capital to establish a small town.

With steady development, in a dozen years, the Doflamingolansi name would undoubtedly become a new noble family!

Bang, bang!

Dodging the bullets while swiftly charging towards the captain, the navigator abruptly dropped the empty flintlock pistol and swung the cane in his hand towards the captain with both hands.

The cane seemed to "bend" in mid-air, a testament to its incredible speed!

At the same time, the piercing sound of air whistled. This cane strike caused an explosion, indicating that the noble captain was equally formidable.

Clang, clang, clang!

The stabbing sword moved like a streak of light, and the cane swung like a circle. Both displayed their strength, which might not have reached the level of the bald head sailor's absolute dominance, but their attacks and defenses far surpassed those of ordinary sailors.

"Old man, I didn't expect you to have such skills!"

"Hmph—"

Both were quick attackers, and their swordplay and cane movements created whistling trails on the deck as they moved, leaving no trace of wounds on their bodies.

It looked like a dance of two gentlemen, stopping just in time, but only they understood the danger within.

Splitch,

The sophisticated navigator's face lit up with delight. Both of them belonged to the type who excelled in high-speed combat. In their high-speed battle, he skillfully parried the captain's cane, and with a quick move, he stabbed the captain in the abdomen.

It's over!

Facing the wound in his abdomen, the noble captain's face turned pale, but he didn't give up the fight. Instead, he flipped his wrist and aimed the base of the cane at the navigator in front of him.

?!

Bang!

A gunshot rang out as the noble captain's navigator stumbled backward, a splash of blood marking his shoulder.

The noble captain's cane was, in fact, a special firearm!

"It's over."

Although his abdomen was pierced and the navigator was only shot in the shoulder, the noble captain relaxed, feeling like victory was within his grasp.

So when the navigator charged again and his stabbing sword pierced through the captain's chest, the noble captain was shocked, and his pupils trembled!

"Why?"

The noble captain couldn't believe it; his "trump card" didn't work?

"This... could it be... sea... sea stone powder bullets, right?"

The sophisticated navigator smiled slightly, seizing the dying captain by the throat.

"Apologies, I'm not a Devil Fruit user!"

Crack,

Amid the faint sound of bones breaking, the round high-crowned hat fell on the bloody deck, along with the ambitions of a certain nobleman seeking to revitalize his family.

Killing silently was not difficult, but killing silently while "shooting" was not easy.

So when they discovered the first body, both the navigator and the captain had the same guess:

Devil Fruit user!

To the noble captain, it seemed like the navigator had gained some kind of Devil Fruit ability and planned to take the ship and its cargo for himself. Unfortunately, he was slightly mistaken:

Swish,

Swiftly turning around, the stabbing sword blocked a sailor's knife that had lunged at the navigator.

Although the two weapons sparked against each other, they made no sound of collision!

"I must thank you for creating this opportunity, Doflamingo."

The one who had truly consumed the Devil Fruit was the boy wearing sunglasses.

"And then—"

Die!

In a flash, the stabbing sword sent Doflamingo's weapon flying out of his hand.

Though Doflamingo's "plan" had gone very smoothly so far, there seemed to be a problem in the final step: killing the navigator and becoming the real "sparrow."

When the "praying mantis" was much stronger than the "sparrow," who would prey on whom was a question.

"Fufufu, it's not necessarily true."

As Doflamingo's attack drew the navigator's attention, a figure silently flipped onto the deck from outside the ship's side, quickly charging forward. A small knife in his hand aimed for the navigator's lower back.

Of course, it was Rosinante!
