Hexel had his face in a foul gross expression. Their teacher hanged him on a tree on the wall of a cliff and by the moment he opened his eyes, the unfathomable depth of the cliff greeted him. Hexel mentally scolded himself for sleeping like a log. Hexel used his agility and muscular strength to flip himself but the branch where he got hanged suddenly cracked and is threathining to break. He inhaled and stabilised his body to avoid the unnecessary movement when a sudden gust of wind forced his tied body to dangle back and forth. Hexel can just yell in frustration.
Lehi can hear Hexel but she herself got punished and is currently untying herself from the mouth of a volcano. Lehi never imagined waking up to be kissed by a steaming magma and larva. Thankfully her bracelet nullified the rope with her oil combined with the natural heat coming under her. When she hassled to follow Hexel's scream, she found the poor young duke dangling like a cocoon from the branch. Lehi helped Hexel to be in contact with the ground as he regained his gravity. Their teacher arrived and clapped his hand.
"I said wake up by dawn and the two of just got kissed by a noon time rays. Now, do a sprint from up her to the bottom of this cliff. Call me Ecles."
Kiel felt like his kneecaps would produce a weird sound if he ever kneel for the second time but unfortunately his father made sure that it would happen. Kiel groaned and almost cursed from the pain when Evi resize him with Ain. Their precious caps are being froced to be stretched as they run away from cockroaches, spider, rats and lizards.
The two are invited to train inside the abandon prison cell of the palace. Natalina can just gave the two a encouraging smile.
"I don't understand the purpose of this sudden training. Ever since the old man Resh arrived, the whole palace people are in chaotic submission."
Ain complained as he survey the area for any insect to eat them.
"His words never fail,
He might have seen something disturbing to have us be equipped knowing that we are the royal aid. A direct mission completer. It only means that it is something worst."
Kiel replied as he guard Ain's back.
Ophir already knew that Resh would eventually asked them to gather the mushroom within the area that literally disappears. Nevi got his face hit on the muddy soil. Urchin started to get angry and took a stick to hammer down any mushroom in sight but his score were in zero. The three already got themselves in shambles as Mem easily picked and fully complete the baskets.
"How did you do that uncle Mem?" Urchin asked.
Mem just ruffled his hair and wiped his muddy face.
"I got accustomed from this kind of training coming from my old man."
Mem answered as he gather and secure all the mushroom they garnered.
"Now I can understand why you really can scold the King nor Kiel." Nevi remarked.
Ophir agreed and smiled.
"You really went through some worth while things."
Mem shrugged and replied.
"I don't think it's that worth while but it's a good part of me to visit from time to time."
Sienna remained flustered as she stare at the shawl given by Hexel. Her mind kept replying their last time together.
Sienna cannot help but to admit that her heart started to miss Hexel. Sienna can smell Hexel's scent from the ribbon and shawl that she's been preserving since she get back from El Oathniel.
Cyrus clicked his tongue as he read the reports. Cyprus already went and accomplish lots of assignment requested with his lone mission but Cyrus know that it can't go on. Resh even asked for two months to polish the four people composing the royal aid. And Ecles just complained for being assigned to babysit. Cyrus cannot help but wonder if Ecles was trully the good choice. It was Resh who strongly recommended it. Cyrus stamp and heared Evi surrender Ain and Kiel beat up in her palm.
"Let them rest for now. I already finished all the documents that needs my seal. Assist Cyprus and Natalina tomorrow. I need to teach this kids some lesson. Oh and can you send Waheb in the dungeon tomorrow with me." Cyrus instructed as he tries to recall if he forgot something.
Evi instantly informed Waheb who immediately agreed.
Lehi felt like her body got frizzy. It took them two days to completely ascend and descend unto the wall of the cliff. When Ecles saw their heads from the edge of the cliff. He yawned and lead them to a hot spring. Ecles felt like he did a number on the two since they haven't complained nor say anything.
Ecles can just easily decline Resh's request but when it's Cyrus then he can't totally say no.
Ecles wonders if the rumours he heared about this two were true. Ecles laid some snares on the way toward the hot spring but he aligned it with the nature. Ecles observed how Hexel would easily slice the branches and vines full of thorns as they pace forward. Ecles noted that his reflex and speed trully are his good points. He also had Tera's sharp observation skill and insensitive wordings. Ecles watched Lehi step on his traps and would end up into ashes.
Ecles heared that her every step produces coals but he never expected how her potential got unused and unpolished for a long span of time.
When they reached the hot spring he commanded the two to build and design a pool and private section for him.
Kiel avoided Waheb's axe. Kiel knew and heared of his valour. Kiel even muttered how it's a waste for Ain not to inherit such skill in close combat. Kiel countered his axe with his cane and rod from Sotai. Kiel was surprised when the rod choosed him and not Mem. Kiel thought that Mem would be offended but he just replied that he is relieved that the rod selected him. Kiel defended himself for a short time but Waheb utilised his posture to overthrow him without any sign of mercy nor holding back.
